The legs are joined together with a center turn finial and end in porcelain wheels. There are few flecks here and there and a couple of buttons missing here and there on the trim. The white and gray grain marble has a reverse curve corner with skirted matching base and an ogee bevel edge. The overall size is 31 inches long, 24 inches deep and 30 inches high overall. Antique Victorian Wooden Wonder Table with decorative spindles - Who Knows.
Victorian decorative wooden piece and we wonder what it was really used for. Possibly oak. It photographed a lot darker than it really is, I bet it was never refinished, probably original finish. Over the years we have used it as a glass topped coffee table, foot stool with cushion, our cocker spaniel even used it as a bed. It was purchased in Rockford, Illinois at an estate sale in the early 1980’s. Possibly American, c. 1900, the top raised on four legs attached by decorative spindles. 12.5" High, 21" wide by 32" long. We think it’s oak, but it’s got decorative signs of a walnut type veneer on the sides. Good to average condition. Lovely Antique Vintage Table Lamp Ruby Red Glass w/ Hand Painted Flowers and Gold Scroll Work Hanging crystal prisms. Red velvet lamp shade. I think the bottom is brass. NO chips or cracks. Lamp is in good working condition. There are two crystal prisms missing in the back. One 6" prism& one 4" prism. The lamp shade is somewhat faded, may have a few worn spots, has a couple of places that look like something may have dripped on it. Antique Cruet Set Silverplate with 4 Glass Bottles Victorian Table Serving Piece
PLEASE BE SURE TO SEE ALL 11 PHOTOS! This is a beautiful antique Victorian cruet set with 4 bottles. The stand is silver plate. And measures 6" long x 5" wide x 10 1/2" tall. There is a place for a monogram on one side. The handle is removeable. When removed. You can see it has an extra post at the bottom to keep it stable, and keep it from coming loose. It is numbered on the bottom 205 305388. There are no other markings. The plating is a bit worn. But has a beautiful patina. I believe it would shine up a lot better if desired, but I leave that up to the buyer. 2 bottles have glass stoppers. One bottle is a shaker, and the other takes a spoon for jam or relish. The top of the shaker is a little misshapen, not totally smooth,but fits snugly on the base. I have gone over this with a magnifier. And there 2 very tiny flecks, not ... moreeven fleabites, on the inside rim of the mustard pot under the silverplate rim. There are 2 tiny flecks on the neck of the shaker. One stopper has a very tiny fleck in the base. One bottle has one very tiny fleck in the top rim. The flat bottom has a tiny mark in the centre, which looks to be a manufacturer's flaw. The other bottle has 2 very minute surface fleabites. Otherwise, there is no damage to the set- no chips or cracks in the glass or stand. It has a total weight of 3 pounds. No Signature. Identified from illustrations found on line with extensive research. Because this antique lamp is very unusual and no signature could be found. Our research included majolica, faience and similar Mediterranean originated ceramic and Basso ceramic items. We located a similar item and examined the applied flowers closely for every detail. These appear to be the same as those on a marked Capodimonte piece. Please carefully review all the details in the ... morephotographs with regard to description. Quality, and condition. They were selected with great care to provide as much information in pictures as possible- from stand alone pictures to groupings to"zooming in" on various areas in the lamp. It is an electric. Perfectly functioning, table lamp that is 25 inches tall. At its widest. It is about 7 inches wide and its weight is almost 4 pounds. The base material is a white ceramic handmade compound like Basso ceramics. Found of course in Italy. This ceramic is made from a paste using natural ingredients used also in soft paste porcelain and earthenware. This appears to be earthenware. Please refer to any Capodimonte information available as to manufacure mix. The white lamp is also reticulated with ceramic braided strips that cross one another: This area is found above the base mounting and is about 3 inches in length.There is a garland of individually mounted flowers above it. I bought it from a sweet older couple from New York who now live in Palm Harbor, FL. The husband explained that it was his Grandmother's first then his mother had it. He said his Grandmother got it around the time she was married and he couldn't remember if it was 1897 or 1898. The condition is superior. It has been well cared for for 115 years by the same family. The oak grain is beautiful and the only flaws are: on the bottom of one of the round feet. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever. Has beautiful detail in the grain. This is a gorgeous curlicue oak-top Victorian-age lamp table that dates from the 1880s or‘90s. It has an oak top with an oak bottom shelf. ... moreAnd all the original curlicues all the way around with the stick and ball accented legs. We brought it in with a split on the oak top. We repaired the top, re-sprayed it and stained it and re-sprayed the wicker to brighten up the beautiful finish, and it even has original metal ball and claw glass ball feet. It appears to have all its curlicues and little balls intact, but I can’t guarantee it because there’s so much to look at it. The table came out of a local estate, where it’s been for 40-something years that I know of. The overall size is 24 inches square on top, 30 inches high, and the bottom shelf is 16 inches high. It’s a great-looking table that was probably a Hayward-Wakefield product, and you really don’t see wicker like this anymore. If you’re looking for an investment antique, this would make a great one! Antique Victorian Marble-topped End Table
T his Victorian marble-topped table is 29 inches by 23 inches by 31 inches high. The wood has some cracks in it but the base is solid. The marble is smooth and beautiful. I previously got teh two tables I have listed mixed up. The wood appears to be mahagonny. I bought this table in Baltimore(had come from an estate) in the 1980s. We are downsizing and need fewer pieces of furniture. Also have another end table like this one but smaller and not as good of shape for sale. Also selling a Victorian couch. See separate listings. Being offered for sale is this wonderful solid oak Victorian 48 inch round dining table with carved legs circa 1900. This table features a substantial center pedestal with four incised carved scroll legs with the original wood casters intact on the feet. Underneath the table is marked"Minneapolis" This table measures 29 1/2 inches in height with a skirt height to the floor of 25 1/2 inches and measures 48 in across the top without any leaves. This table doesn't come with leaves but will extend open to 74" to allow two 12" wide leaves if one desired to have the leaves made for it by a handy woodcrafter.This solid oak table weighs approximately 100 lbs. 6 Victorian Sheffield Sterling Silver Band & Mother of Pearl Handle Table Spoons
for bid are 6 sheffield plate(8" table spoons with a sterling band and mother of pearl handles. They are NOT new or perfect but are still a wonderful set. 5 of the spoons appearing to have no cracks or repairs to the handles but the other has issues with with either a crack and the handle seperates from the spoon. I have not attempted to clean or polish this flatware and it is being sold in the condition I found it in. I also have 3 other auctions that match this flatware and will combine to save on shipping.

VICTORIAN ENGLISH SILVER PLATED TABLE BELL / GONG - FIGURAL - OWL NOVELTY
An absolute winner. This antique desk or dinner bell dates to around 1898 and English in origin. The bell or gong is created in the form of a large mushroom or toadstool with two smaller ones underneath. The gong mallet that hangs from the twig holder is used to strike the large mushroom producing a shiny authoritative ring. The mushroom is marked EPNS for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver together with the makers mark F W over S. The maker is Frederick Wilson. The heavy base is cast with woodland style plants and rocks; on one of the edges the British design registration number is struck. 31340 dating this piece to 1898. One or the"rocks" to the front is smooth and acts as cartouche, which could be engraved if desired. 6 Victorian Sterling Silver Crested King's Pattern Dining Forks by J& A Savory of London dated 1844 Each Antique Table or Dining Fork measures approximately 8 1/4 inches or 209 mm in length by 1 1/8 inches or 2 9 mm across the widest part of its upper handle from side to side and it is also 1 1/8 inches or 2 9 mm across the widest part of its tines or fork end. All 6 forks are made from sterling silver and they have a combined silver weight of 525. 5 grams. We believe these chairs to have their original finish and the cane seats are in excellent antique condition. Each chair measures a total height from the floor to the top of the back of 34 inches. With a seat width of 16 1/2 inches, seat depth of 15 1/2 inches and seat height of 17 3/4 inches and each chair weighs approximately 8 lbs. These 19th century chairs feature a shaped crest-rail. Shield shaped back-splat, cane bottom seats with ring turned stretchers and ring turned front legs and tapered back legs.
