This is a stunning tilt-top occasional or end table. It was manufactured in Holland Michigan by the Baker Furniture Company- known for their high end furniture production. The top is oval shaped and measures about 22.75" by 17.75" When the top is flat. The table measures about 27.5" high. The top has beautiful colors with nice inlay detailing as you can see in the photos. The table has 3 bent legs which meet at a wider turned shaft. The table top tilts when it is pulled up(there is no lever to push) When the top is up/tilted, it does not seem to stay vertical- instead, the top edge tilts forward more than the bottom. ANTIQUE MINIATURE MAHOGANY TILT TOP TABLE APPRENTICE or SAMPLE or DOLL
This superb mahogany miniature tilt-top table could have been made by an apprentice to demonstrate his aquired expertise or by a master as a sample. The style is from the 1830- 1840 period and that's when I believe this was made. There is a signature written in ink on the underside of the top. But it is very difficult to decipher(see photo below) I think the small circular inset in the table top might be a deliberate example of the maker's skill rather than a later repair, but it could be to"mend" a flaw in the wood I guess. There are several closed age related cracks to the top surface and some light scratches commensurate with its age, also a small black indentation, but they are not disfiguring and show in the photographs. With table tilted height is approx 8.70 inches, with table top flat, height is approx 5 inches and ... morediameter is approx 7 inches. This is an antique flip or tilt top table or candle stand. I don't know if it falls into the paper mache category. But I'll mention that anyway. It is a very well made table. Lots of detail with it's curved and scalloped edges on the table top as opposed to just a round or oval top. Similar to pie crust edges. You can see the wood cut inserts or joiners(biscuit) on the edge between pieces. I called this Duncan Phyfe because of the brass lion or claw feet but am not sure about that. We believe the wood is walnut. There is a dark green stripe around the design on the pedestal and also a matching dark green line around the top of the table. The catch on the birdcage is stamped Francis Keil and Sons Patented. Table measures 24" high x 22" long x 18" wide. Awesome picture on top however it is showing some crackling or ... morecrazing. This is an early 1800's mahogany"pie crust" queen anne style tilt top tea table that was acquired from an estate and no longer have room for it. It is in great condition and the cabriole legs have remarkable carvings. The two brackets on the back were replaced at some point and there is a small fracture in one of the feet. Both common of this age with tilt function. It is very sturdy and would be a great addition to antique collection or homeowner who wanted a great antique table that can easily tilt for easy storage. Table measures 33 inches in width and 46 inches in height. Antique early 1800's rosewood with inlaid brass tilt top table. The top measures 22" x 17 1/4" 24 1/2" from the ground. 34" tilted from top to bottom. There is a central brass inlaid decoration on the top. On all the feet, and the four sections between the feet. There are sixteen decorative rosettes on the corners of the legs. There is no missing brass inlay. The feet end in brass balls. The tilting mechanism is original to the piece. The rosewood is beautifully grained. Antique early 1800's mahogany supper tilt top table. The diameter of the top is 34" There are nine 8" across plate sections. And the center section is 16" across. When the table is open it measures 28" to the ground. When it is tilted flat it measures 47" to the ground. It is all original with lovely hand carving to the top and legs. Even the background of the carving has a textured carving itself. It has a wonderful old patina. In the pictures when it shows lighter, it is when I used a flash. The darker picture is without a flash. The color is a rich, warm, medium mahogany. It is in fine sturdy, strong condition. A tiny old chip to the edge of one of the circles. There is no reserve on this lovely antique Queen Anne tilt top tea table with bird cage from the late 18th century. I believe this table is maple. It is 24 1/2 inches high. The top is out of round and measures 17 5/8 inches in one direction and 17 3/8 in another. This happens with shrinkage due to the age of the table. There is a hand made wooden peg that holds the bird cage in place. Table tilts easily and locks in position. It is in excellent condition. Price includes shipping and insurance in the lower 48.

Antique Child School Desk Oak Cast Iron Adjustable Tilt Top Book Drawer Rack
As found at estate sale from garage. Dust and all. 23" tall desk top, back of seat is 26 1/2" tall. Desk top is 22" x 15. 26" overall length. Desk tilts and entire top goes up and down to adjust as child grows, it has a 3" up and down play by loosening 2 round knobs on side. The top also slants at an angle and is adjustable. I could not find a makers name on it. Except the ink well is made by Henry Wilkes Bakelite, it has a glass well. This desk will last a lifetime and will be passed down from generation to generation. It's a great investment. Picture your children sitting in it for pictures every year to see them growing up.

VINTAGE JUICE-O-MAT "TILT-TOP" ORIGINAL BOX & INSTRUCTIONS WHITE & CHROME
Juice-O-Mat in excellent condition with original box and inserts. I thought it had never been out of the box when I bought it. But it does show minor signs of use. The white paint under the juice catching cup shows the most wear but it's still minor considering the age of the juicer. There are a couple of small chips of paint missing on the bottom edge that do show if you are looking for them. The white paint can be touched up, the chrome is usually what shows the age of these old juicers. But the chrome on this one is shiny and bright and would display beautifully. The strainer and cup are like new. Very clean and no mineral deposits as you sometimes see. The movement is smooth with no catches and the box is really impressive for its age. Antique New England Scalloped Tilt Top Tea Table
This Tilt Top table has been in my family for over 250 years- we no longer have space for it and. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in with our new South West home's decor. We brought it from Maine to New Mexico hoping we could use it but it just doesn't fit and none of the family has interest in it. We would love for the table to find a home where it will be appreciated for the next 250 years. There is documentation of its original owner. It is an excellent example of an early American piece of fine furniture. It is most likely from New England and the scalloped top is typical of other New England tilt tops. A very similar Massachusetts tilt top table sold at Christie's NY Auction. October 1983 was dated at around 1765-1785. The hand-forged iron brace under the legs is original- not a repair. There are no breaks or cracks on ... morethe top or anywhere else. As far as I can tell it is the original finish. As far as shipping is concerned. We would like make the point known that we have never quite seen a piece like this before. It comes from a North Carolina estate that was brought back East to liquidate. We are not a liberty to disclose anymore than that as to its provenance. Our company brings four highly experienced dealers to the table. We are all torn as to the origin of this piece from Portsmouth. NH, Boston, NYC and Virginia. We are certain of the fact that its an outstanding quality piece in great condition with no damages or repairs. Please note that we took these pictures coming off ... morethe truck. It was 6 degrees that day and the waxes on mahogany pieces cloud up in the cold. We noted a whitish mark on the top of this piece in the pictures that is not truly there and caused by the waxes reaction to the severe cold. We wanted to get the load back into a stable heated environment as fast as possible. The molded edge top on this table is made from a huge robust piece of old growth solid crotched mahogany plank(probably Cuban) with the best figuring. A plank of that quality was worth more than gold to furniture makers in the Colonial Colonies during this period. It's pedestal employs superb ring or spool turnings and acanthus carving. Each of its three spider legs are gracefully formed, molded and employs continued acanthus carving. At this size this piece classifies as a tea table or small breakfast table. We are putting a real number on this piece not based on what it could be as opposed to our substantial investment in it. Up for bid is a vintage JUICE-O-MAT hand operated juicer made by Rival Mfg. Co. Kansas City. MO. The juicer is chrome and creamy yellow in color and is in great shape considering its age. Exterior chrome has minor pitting(see photos) Exterior yellow paint has no chipping and there are only a few minor scuffs on interior paint where aluminum attachments have slid in and out. The 5 bottom rubber bumper-feet are all intact and in great shape with no cracks. Looking almost new. The aluminum attachments(cup and squeezer) are in very good to great shape. They are approximately 2 1/2" tall. The pair is not cloudy and is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or other damage. Antique Italian Hand Painted Tilt Top Table, Lacquered, Italian Scene, Abalone!!
On offer is this truly beautiful antique tilt top table. It's in really good condition overall. All original and tilts correctly still. There are scuffs on the edges to the legs where the lacquer has rubbed/ chipped off and there is rubbing to the top decoration but this has detracted anything from the overall look. There is line crazing here and there across the top but this just adds character and charm to the table. There is evidence of old wood worm to the base section- this occurred many decades ago but as a precaution it has been fully treated. It is a tilt top table with the top being able to tilt when not in use- even like this it makes a lovely decorative feature as shown in the photos. The base section has three legs. These and the central column have been lacquered in black and hand painted with a lovely flowing design in a ... moregold yellow colour. The table top itself has a rounded shape and has been decorated beautifully with a hand painted scene depicting an old building and steps leading up to it. At the top of these is a mysterious figure. Whom this is I do not know. It is surrounded by trees and an intense looking sky. Certain areas have been inlayed with very thin pieces of abalone shell to enhance the appearance of it. Around this scene is a rounded border of abalone and around the edge is a lovely hand painted border design. The tilting part is original and works fine still. It is an old item. Victorian in date and made in Italy- probably South Italy. The table top measures 60cm in diameter(2 ft) and when in use(flat) the table has a height of 71cm(28 inches) A truly gorgeous example of a tilt top table which is ready to be used and enjoyed once again! Underneath the 16 ¾” inlaid dish top is a small dovetailed draw for holding ... morecandles. I guarantee that this draw and top are original to this circa 1810 Candlestand. Another unusual feature. Which I guarantee is original is the brass collar which allows you to adjust the table height from 28 ¾” to 36 ¾” Although this feature is very unique it is guaranteed to be original to this Candlestand. The bottom has a classic vase and ring turning and the carved legs end in Spade Feet. The 6” diameter inlaid fan top has several very old replaced inlays. There also is some restoration to the thin inlaid border. There is a very old, tight shrinkage crack. Underneath, are the original brass hinges and latch and the small brass knob on the finely dovetailed draw are original. The only other problem with this rare adjustable candle stand is a strong repair to one leg. There are no other problems with this Rare Tit-Top Candlestand. We are listing it without any reserve.
