And there is no metal hardware that I can see. We think this piece is quite old, 19th century or even possibly earlier. Unfortunately we are unable to locate a makers mark to put an exact date or provenance on this piece. The craftsmenship and detail on this table is just remarkable. Table is sturdy and heavy and in good working condition. Table does have some minor wear due to age and use and will need a nice wood cleaning. On the backside edge of a small section of the pie crust there appears to be some small repair as shown in picture. But is not noticeable nor taking away from the beauty of this piece. This table was located in a large wharehouse style building in the corner behind some old furniture. What a stunning find! This table is just magnificent! This table would be a great focal piece for any room! Candle Stand Tables and Pie Crust Tea Tables became popular during the 18th century when the consumption of tea was an afternoon social event. VINTAGE ART NOUVEAU GOLD GILT WOODEN SWIVEL TILT DRESSER TABLE TOP PICTURE FRAME
Up for auction is a beautiful gold gilt wooden Art Nouveau tilt/swivel table top picture frame. The outside measurements are: 10" tall X 11" wide(at the base) X 2" deep. The inside measurements of the frame itself are: 6" X 8" This is the maximum size for your image. Of course any smaller image with matting would work. The frame and base are made of a dark brown wood carved in a pleasing Art Nouveau or Edwardian design. The design has been rubbed with a warm gold finish and has a beautiful patina. The swivel works well and stays in place when tilted. This frame is in GREAT CONDITION. The only flaw I see is on the left support post. There is a light spot within the dark brown oval design. This could be easily fixed with a marker or some stain. The frame does not have glass or backing. The bottom is covered in a dark ... morebrown felt which is securely attached and completely intact. The stand looks great either up or down. The surface is an old turn of the century refinish that has mellowed nicely. It has a nice old patina and retains traces of the original red stained surface. I took it to have it"appraised" at a local shop and given very good news but truthfully I knew what I was looking at as you can see in the photos It has all the things to look for all flat head screws the bird cage is in great shape.The pin for holding the table in regular position is hand carved, actually the whole thing has evidence of being hand carved. When the top is folded there is a P wrote in wax/chalk at the top of the center post. The top is a solid piece of wood( I'm not talking about the detailed carved piece running around the top) There are no flaws that I can find it's in beautiful condition! This is a Souvenir I purchased in 1954 while stationed in Germany near Stuttgart. It is ceramic or porcelain with a pewter lid that opens& closes. It measures 5 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide at the handle and 2 1/2" across at the base. the photos show the picture of Stuttgart on the front. This Stein is in excellent condition. Beautiful flip top table/stand of unknown origin. There is no identification anywhere that is visible. Being that it came from our parents. We belive that it dates back to the earlier 1900's. Not much to describe so the pictures will speak for themselves and you can see there is absolutely no damage anywhere. The oval table top is 19 inches long. 15 inches wide, and 7/8 inch thick solid wood. It stands 24 inches tall. The pictures were taken of the table upside down with the table on a protective pad that is not visible in the pictures. We scored this awesome piece at a great estate sale in DC. I had it"appraised" by Christies of NY it wasn't the 10.000 dollar item I had hoped for from the 1700s but I was still given very good news, because I still knew what I was looking for. As you can see in the photos It has all the things you want to see flat head screws the bird cage is in great shape,the pin for holding the table in regular position is hand carved, actually the whole thing has evidence of being hand carved. When the top is folded there is a P wrote at the top of the center post. The top is a solid piece of wood( I'm not talking about the detailed carved piece running around the top) There are no flaws that I can find it's in beautiful condition! This piece is dated 1876, 19th century. Many of these over-the-top embellishments, observed in centennial ... morepieces, American furniture crafted in celebration of America’s 100th Birthday, around 1876. Miller Tilt Top Trailer Gooseneck Winch
Heavy duty Miller Tilt Top Trailer. I built this trailer based on a 30.000lbs Miller pintle hitch trailer, which I purchased from a salvage yard. I cut the frame just ahead of the trailers axles and installed a new front frame and gooseneck hitch with 2 5/16 coupler. The deck of the trailer measures 96" wide and 201" long. The overall length of the trailer is 319" I have cleaned and re-packed all the wheel bearings. Both of the pivot points on the walking tandems have been rebuilt including welding up and turning the main pins on a lathe, new bearings, races, and seals were installed at this time. I painted the trailer last year and installed new lighting, and a new 10,000lbs jack. The floor has been replaced within the last 3 yrs and is in good condition. The tires are in decent condition and all hold air. There is an 8,000lbs ... morecapacity electric winch and battery box included. There is also a hydraulic cylinder below the deck, It is currently set up as a dampening cylinder but could easily be plumbed to a hydraulic source if you wanted power tilt on the trailer. The trailer currently has no brakes, the drums are all there and measure 2"X12" and new brakes can easily be purchased. When the new lighting was installed, brake wiring was also included. I used this trailer to haul hay, and a Cat d4 crawler from my home to another farm. The trailer is heavy but pulls well. I do not have a title for the trailer, as it was home built from a salvage trailer. The new owner will need to apply for a home made trailer title in their state, a bill of sale for the trailer will be included to help with the process. I have sold the D4 crawler and no longer need this trailer.
