The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. Probably from the late 1800 or the early 1900's this piece is a very good condition. The back plate has horizontal cracks. There is a latch that works just fine, I have never opened nor tried to remove the needlepoint piece. It is framed so well. The needlepoint has some very mild marks on the off white background. It actually looks okay and not very noticeable. The needlepoint is exquisite and the subject matter is even more refined. Vintage Cast Iron Pedestal Tripod Tilt Top Base Industrial - Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage cast iron tripod tilting pedestal table base. The cast iron base was in remarkably good condition considering it's age and as best I can tell still has the original finish. Usually these are totally rusted out and the paint missing. A good wash revealed a nice green patina. There is no maker mark or manufacturer name on it. But it has to be old as they haven't made anything like this in years with a cast iron base. When fully extended it is about 40" or so inches tall. The 3 tripod legs are also about 2 feet apart all the way around to give you an idea of size. I am including the 2 metal table top edges that you can put on a future top should you choose. That was the style when this was made. And it is a very nice look. For shipping it will come disassembled as shown in one of the pictures on ... morethe white table. This is most practical as it makes it easier to ship for me. And cheaper for the buyer. It is simple to put back together so that shouldn't be an issue for anyone.

Up for sale is this beautiful Chippendale tilt-top-tea table from the early to mid-19 th century. I believe it is either Cherry or Maple. It has the original brass hardware and the split on the top is original from the time it was made or shortly thereafter. There is a watermark on the top that has been there for some years. This table measures 30 ½ inches in diameter across the table top and 27 ½ inches in height. I am listing this as a local pick-up only as the shipping and freight expenses would be quite costly. Marx Little Hostess Tilt Top Table and Folding Screen in original boxes
Here are two pieces from the Little Hostess collection. By Marx, in their original boxes. The first is the Tilt Top Table. It is black. With a gold picture on the top of the table that is a stylized stagecoach and cactus. The box is in excellent condition, but it has a price label stuck to it(it cost 19¢ originally) The second piece is the Folding Screen. There are four panels that are connected but can be bent to different angles. They are Oriental-style. Each of the panels has two inset gold-colored. Bas-relief panels(sub-panels? The back of the screen is plain black. This box has some damage to it- there are marks where some sort of liquid has been on the box. It's not warped or anything, but you can definitely see the water marks(I took pictures so you could see) The box has some wear at the edges and corners of the top and bottom ... moreflaps, too, but it's not horrendously bad. The furniture looks shiny and new. I marked this set as"used" because of the damaged box. And also because for all I know it has been played with! A wonderful High End Historic Charleston Tea Table with tilt-top made by Baker Furniture. It is part of a series of Baker furniture that is called the Historic Charleston Collection. The pieces in this collection are copies of antique Southern Furniture so in that way it is to be understood as a reproduction. This being said. It is still a beautiful classic solid wood piece of furniture made by one of the finest American Furniture Makers, Baker. The tri-pod table has carved cabriole legs and a central pedestal with a"bird-cage" on which the pie crust or lobed table top sits. Philadelphia, Circa 1740-1760 with A ONE BOARD THIN CUT ROUND TOP, A FINLEY TURNED SHAFT AND THE BEST HAND CARVED LEGS AND QUEEN ANNE PAD FEET ALL IN MAHOGANY WITH TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL DARK STAINED SURFACE. A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF A FORMAL PHILADELPHIA QUEEN ANNE CANDLESTAND. The shaft is deeply turned out of mahogany. The high cut and arched Cabriole Legs are Dovetailed into the shaft. Very Fine Antique English Georgian Mahogany Tilt Top Tea Table Circa 1780's Very meaty heavy table! 2 board top Nicely cut and proportioned legs and feet Good table Fits nicely into a chic city apartment. Or a country primitive house with a more formal parlour. Top has been off of the center mounting block. And reglued. No real damage done, the block probably dried out and cracked, then somebody reinforced with dowel rods, and reset the block back onto the pedestal. This repair was most likely done 30-40 years ago. RARE 18TH C CT WILLIAM AND MARY TILT-TOP CANDLESTAND DROP PENDANT CARVED SHAFT Description: A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF A WILLIAM AND MARY TRANSITIONAL COUNTRY TILT TOP CANDLESTAND. THIS IS A VERY RARE PIECE OF COUNTRY CONNECTICUT FURNITURE OF THE EARLY 18TH CENTURY. A period Transitional William and Mary- Early Queen Anne CHERRY Tilt-Top Candlestand from Connecticut. Circa 1720-1750 with a great Round Top, AND THE BEST DEEP TURNED INVERTED VASE SHAFT, BLIND MORTISED AND PEGGED QUEEN ANNE STYLE LEGS AND A WONDERFUL DROP FINIAL and all in AN OLD GRUNGY RED STAINED SURFACE. THE STAND HAS THE BEST CARVED DECORATION ON THE INVERTED SHAFT AND LEGS. This stand exhibits the early drop finial below the deeply turned shaft which is indicative of an early transitional stand or table. This is the typical trumpet turning you would see on a William and Mary ... moreHighboy. The shape of the carved legs and pad feet are also of the early period. The legs are blind dovetailed into the shaft. A feature that was replaced in the Queen Anne period. TILT-TOP CANDLESTANDS OF THIS PERIOD ARE EXTREMELY RARE. GREAT EARLY TILT TOP DESIGN WITH AN OLD KEEP PEG. THE SURFACE IS A VERY OLD AND POSSIBLY ORIGINAL GRUNGY DARK RED STAINED SURFACE WITH OLD WEAR AND PATINA. In the early 18th century cabinetmakers painted or stained the country versions to resemble the more expensive Mahogany. The stand is 24" tall and the two board cherry top is about 20 1/2" across with great shrinkage. When up the stand is about 35" tall. Typical wear associated with the age of the item. NO RESTORATIONS OR REPAIRS. There is an old collector's name and SS number written on the underside of the top. We did not remove it but it can easily be removed with a bit of denatured alcohol.
