The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. Chippendale Style Cherry Tilt-Top Tea Table
Up for sale is this beautiful Chippendale tilt-top-tea table from the early to mid-19 th century. I believe it is either Cherry or Maple. It has the original brass hardware and the split on the top is original from the time it was made or shortly thereafter. There is a watermark on the top that has been there for some years. This table measures 30 ½ inches in diameter across the table top and 27 ½ inches in height. I am listing this as a local pick-up only as the shipping and freight expenses would be quite costly. Marx Little Hostess Tilt Top Table and Folding Screen in original boxes
Here are two pieces from the Little Hostess collection. By Marx, in their original boxes. The first is the Tilt Top Table. It is black. With a gold picture on the top of the table that is a stylized stagecoach and cactus. The box is in excellent condition, but it has a price label stuck to it(it cost 19¢ originally) The second piece is the Folding Screen. There are four panels that are connected but can be bent to different angles. They are Oriental-style. Each of the panels has two inset gold-colored. Bas-relief panels(sub-panels? The back of the screen is plain black. This box has some damage to it- there are marks where some sort of liquid has been on the box. It's not warped or anything, but you can definitely see the water marks(I took pictures so you could see) The box has some wear at the edges and corners of the top and bottom ... moreflaps, too, but it's not horrendously bad. The furniture looks shiny and new. I marked this set as"used" because of the damaged box. And also because for all I know it has been played with! A wonderful High End Historic Charleston Tea Table with tilt-top made by Baker Furniture. It is part of a series of Baker furniture that is called the Historic Charleston Collection. The pieces in this collection are copies of antique Southern Furniture so in that way it is to be understood as a reproduction. This being said. It is still a beautiful classic solid wood piece of furniture made by one of the finest American Furniture Makers, Baker. The tri-pod table has carved cabriole legs and a central pedestal with a"bird-cage" on which the pie crust or lobed table top sits. The table top tilts to the vertical position enabling the owner to store it along a wall while it still looks beautiful. Very Fine Antique English Georgian Mahogany Tilt Top Tea Table Circa 1780's Very meaty heavy table! 2 board top Nicely cut and proportioned legs and feet Good table Fits nicely into a chic city apartment. Or a country primitive house with a more formal parlour. Top has been off of the center mounting block. And reglued. No real damage done, the block probably dried out and cracked, then somebody reinforced with dowel rods, and reset the block back onto the pedestal. This repair was most likely done 30-40 years ago. It is constructed from what we believe to be solid mahogany and walnut. Although please note that we are not 100% sure of the wood types. The table has an oval tray top, so-called because of the rail around the edge(please note that top does not remove) This rail was constructed from one continuous piece of thin wood, and is joined together at one side with a small metal bracket that is original to the piece. The top can be tilted. The table is supported on a tripod base with a turned central column with ring turnings. Condition: Overall ... morethis handsome piece is in good usuable condition. With some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There are some signs of restoration and repair of various ages. The rail around the top has been repaired in one area. The supports underneath the top have been replaced at some point, and the catch for the top is also a more modern replacement. We believe the top of the central column may have had some work done at some point. One of the legs is slightly twisted. The table is solid and usuable but there is some slight movement in the joints. There are some signs of old woodworm to the base- this is not active, but has been retreated as a precaution. Lovely little Queen Anne snake foot candlestand in mahogany. This has either the original surface or an extremely old refinish. You can see the hand planing marks and the tenon is a square tenon. All the screws are original old screws and there is no damage or repair to the piece. Lovely smooth as glass surface from years of polishing. It would probably be best to remove the top in shipping but I will leave that up to the buyer. It measures 29" high. The top is 14 1/2" by 28" and it is 7" high to the kick-up of the base. And what a commanding table this is! 37" TOP. ONE BOARD! Just imagine in the 18th century how big that tree must have been to get a refined board that size from! Huge! Great Antique Chester County. Pa Walnut Queen Anne Tilt Top Table 1750'S Wow what a table! We love tilt top tea tables. And this table is exceptionally nice. Superbly turned Center column. And wonderfully carved Spanish feet. Truly the work of a master turner and carver in Chester County. PA The top even has a moulded edge. To match the nice turnings! This table has a few repairs here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary for a table from the 1750-1770's The top has batons that are dovetailed onto the top boards. And 4 butterfly's to reinforce the top, most likely shrinkage. We are confident that the birdcage is mostly original, but the batons are later repairs done most likely in the late 1800's. The repairs are not modern. They are all hand done. The table was painted. Then subsequently stripped and refinish quite sometime ... moreago. The original finish is long gone. The current surface is a mellow aged brown. We had the key and donut made to fit the table. They were not there when we acquired the table. Size: 32" by 31 1/2" top(round) 28 1/2" tall

It measures approximately 24 3/4" tall the top measures 14 1/4 by 20 1/2" it has been nicely refinished at some time in a satin finish that does show some minor use wear and is in good condition with no chips. Cracks, or repairs the glue has loosened somewhat where the legs join the center pedestal it sits solidly but the new owner might want to reglue the legs joints.
