VINTAGE 1988 BUD LIGHT TAVERN POOL TABLE LIGHT FIXTURE 3 BULBS OR 1 FLUORESENT
This is a pre-owned Bud Lite Tavern Pool Table light that is 40" long. 14" wide& about 13" tall. It takes either 3 screw in bulbs or 1 fluoresent bulb with a pull chain switch. It came from an estate sale& was wired directly to ceiling junction box& the bulbs worked when tested. It is not new as it was made in 1988& does show some cosmetic wear with some light scratches on the sides& some finish wear on the ends. When lit the ends show a red A& the clear covering the pool balls is in good condition& clear. Great addition to rec room or pool room. Very Nice Antique Chester County Walnut Queen Anne Splay Leg Tavern Table 1780's Very nice early tavern or work table Great form. Wonderfully scalloped apron. There is not one nail the the construction of this little gem. The batons holding the SINGLE board walnut top. Are dovetailed to the top, then pinned through onto the apron. The legs are mortised and pinned onto the corners that make up the apron. Great tapered and splayed legs The cabinet maker that made this table. Had quite a bit of skill to build this table. Tapered and splayed legs are a relative rarity. One apology on this awesome table is somebody for whatever reason had this table apart in pieces. One of the legs has beef replaced quite a few years ago. While they followed the correct construction methods, they used poplar for the leg. Bummer. There is also a repaired patch ... moreon the top The rest of the table is constructed from walnut. If your a serious collector. This will horribly detract from the value of this table, however if you simply looking for a good useable table, at a good price with a great early look, then this is the one for you! It's a great table at a fraction of the show price of the same one if it had not been repaired. A un-repaired specimen would easily cost in upwards of $1500 at a high end antique show. EVERY ONE of the wood pins in the aprons and stretchers are original. The feet have are COMPLETELY original and FULL HEIGHT. THERE ARE TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL RED PAINT THROUGHOUT. Especially on the pine aprons. THIS IS A VERY RARE WILLIAM AND MARY TAVERN TABLE WITH SMALL DIMENSIONS. 26" tall. The top is 30" wide and 22" deep. Typical wear associated with the age of the item. It appears to be made of maple with a pine top. The top is pegged on as are the legs to the sides. The top measures 25 1/2" by 18 1/4" by 21 3/4" tall and is in good condition for it's age. The top has some shrinkage cracks and the button feet are worn off but is has a nice patina to the wood and is a very usable table. You don't see them too often with the splayed leg! This is a Vintage Stained Glass Hanging Light. Great to be used as a Card Playing Light/ Pool Table Light/ or in a Bar/ Tavern. All of the stained glass is good with no cracks or chips. The black metal trim shows dirt and wear. It does work. But will need some finish wiring/ cord and the chain is missing. I think you can still get lamp chain at the hardware store. Tavern Table Fabulous Mid 18th Century
Beautiful Tavern Table This table measures 32" wide 20 3/4" deep and 28" tall The table appears to be all walnut but the bottom of the drawer looks to be pine. It's in very nice condition considering it's age but there are some stains from items being placed on it over the years. Please look closely at the photos. It is assembled using old wooden dowels but the outer edges of the bottom of the drawer appears to have crude nails that are similar to ones that were on a 17th century piece from the same estate. The handle on the drawer appears to have been added at sometime in the distant past but the old lock on the inside appears to be original to the table's drawer. It is amazingly solid but the rear of the drawer bottom is loose and I did not want to use the wrong process to tighten it so I have left it as it is. ... moreI will be glad to make shipping arrangements for the winning bidder but I will need a couple of days to build a crate for it and pack it securely. Coming from the estate of a serious antiques collector is this two-drawer tavern table or nightstand. It's heavy weight comes from using hardwoods and not veneers. Overall in excellent condition. And original except maybe the knobs appear to have been replaced(see photos zoomed) Measures 23" wide x 28-1/2" high x 19-1/2" deep. And weighs about 34 lbs. The woods used appear a mix, including oak, maybe walnut and maple too. The drawers may use a yellow pine, etc. The insides of the knob holes show once locking-like parts. So it was probably a locking table before. The top surface photos show a smooth sheen and a ring from placing a lamp on it, but this can be wiped cleaned.
