It is truly a nice period untouched table. It has a ribbon mahogany top, round corner drop leaves, heavy bold column four legged base, solid cast brass Duncan Phyfe claw foot and built in castors. I normally don’t buy period furniture like this, but I was very impressed by how untouched this piece was. The overall size is 40.5 inches long, 24 inches wide when the leaves are closed, 15 inches wide on each leaf, 52 inches long when the leaves are flipped up. The finish is very nice for being 180 years old. It does show normal nicks, dings and scratches, but I believe it would rub out nicely to make a good presentation.

Cleaned it up and decided to try to sell it. this is a very nice solid quartersawn oak round top ... moretable that is 54 inches in diameter. it has great flake in the wood in the top, skirt, and the base. there are no veneers. it has an unusual claw footed base which has carving on the legs and the bottom of the squared pedestal which divide at the hypotenuse and makes either portion of the base therefore V shaped. the top opens to 92 inches which makes it almost 8 feet long. i have pictured some chairs around it so you can see that it will easily seat 8 people( or more) when opened. when close it seats 6 comfortably. it has casters on the claw feet and the base and rolls well and sits perpendicular when open and does not sag in the middle. at any rate, it is very well built, very solid, no loose or missing parts or pieces i am aware of. i do not have leaves for the table, i probably do but don't know where they are, but some could be easily made. i hope the pictures enhance the description. any questions please ask. again a very nice, solid, table of high quality material being quartersawn oak that has large and abundant flake. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer;s expense. good luck.

Unusual Avery Round Grain Weights(Bullion/Apothecary) 20.30& 100 grains I believe these weights are probably bullion weights but I have not been able to find them in any of the Norman Biggs books. Biggs has a grain series section 2590-2598 and I would have thought they would fit in this section although 2645 is similar but with Avery at the top. A similar 1000 grain weight sold recently on Ebay and this is the only same one I have identified. The 100 and 30 grain weights have a Victorian verification stamp for area 370(Smethwick) The 20 grain weight has an E2R verification stamp(1950s/1960s) again with a 370 area. This is a lovely Vintage RETICULATED STERLING SILVER ROUND BASKET with HANDLE. It has ornate work all around. It weighs 2 oz/ 65 g on the postal scale. The base is about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and the top tapers out to about 4 inches. Height is 2 1/8 inches and with handle extended 4 1/4 inches. There is a logo on the bottom of WATSON CO of Attleboro. MA. Also, engraved on the bottom are STERLING and the number 132. This piece is from the estate of an older English couple that had some silverware which they used frequently. There are some small dents and dings consitent with use and the handle is slightly mis-shaped. Shipment outside the US will be by Priority Mail only for a more reliable delivery and tracking info. Casserole is approximately 7 3/4 inches in diameter and about 3 ½ inches deep. It is in very good used condition. No chips. Cracks or flea bites. This is for a nice coffee urn& two glass cups shaped& decorated like world globes. These are unmarked. And I don't know which glass company made them. The coffee urn measures 6 1/4" tall. It's made to hold 8 cups. The pair of matching cups measure 3 3/4" tall each. They are 4 1/4" in diameter each. They are also made of the same thin glass that the coffee urn is made of, so I doubt you could put hot drinks in them& actually use them. No handles on the cups to keep from getting burned.
