Description Pair English Regency style mahogany dropleaf one drawer end tables by Tomlinson Furniture would be a great addition to your home. This pair of Regency style end tables are constructed of mahogany with rosewood banding on the drawer front and the the outer edges of each table. Also the tables have a dark string-inlay that appears to be a darker wood like ebony. Each table has a brass Lion Head pull or drawer handle with brass caps on all four feet of each table. The tables are labeled on the inside of the drawer with a tag the reads. Tomlinson Furniture. These tables measure 28" in length, 18" in width, 28 1/2" in height, 34 1/2" in width when the dropleafs are open each. Each table corner has" Bamboo Style Outline" in each of the 4 corners. When I purchased these tables in 1977. They were supposedly more than 125 years old at that time. They are all hand finished and rubbed until they had a mirror like finish which still exists today. I used only the top, larger table, with the smaller table inset and protruding about 1" for effect. I used them to display Penjing, Miniature and Dwarf Imported Bonsai Trees until I moved to Winnipeg from Montreal in 1987. I sold my entire collection before leaving, but, kept these tables. PAIR MID CENTURY MODERN WOOD END TABLES NIGHTSTANDS STRIPED PATTERN LAMINATE
We are pleased to offer this pair of Mid Century Modern end or accent tables. These tiered tables feature solid wood with laminate tops on each tier. The wood is quite nice and has a blonde(with a khaki undertone) finish that allows the grain to show through. The wood is not veneer. It is solid. The legs flare slightly. They feature a flattened profile that narrows in width toward the bottom. The top sections feature a wide wood band with the top inset and recessed. The bottom tier is not banded. Both the upper and lower tier feature uniquely patterned laminate tops. The laminate is white with a striated or striped pattern which is in a taupe/chocolate color. The pattern gives the tops a"woven" appearance. The tables are very nicely constructed. They do not have a manufacturer's mark, but they are very nice in both quality and ... moredesign. They are substantial in weight as well. They are in very good condition with only minor evidence of age and use. VERY NICE! Each table measures 26.25" tall. Bases are cast iron for the bottom base and that base is 16 1/2" toe to toe-22" end to end. The center post is tubular steel and the upper mounting plate is steel and 11" diameter. Base stands 27 5/8" tall without a top on it. The tops that were on these was 29 3/4" square by 1 1/4" thick and were covered by wood grain look formica. The formica does have some chipping. Pair of Antique Carved Teak Wood tables from the Philippines.
This is another chance of a lifetime to own some great pieces of history. These are from the 1950’s. The party I bought them from nine years ago were stationed in the Philippines. She was a lover of fine pieces of furniture. When they moved back into the states in the 70's they were brought back to the USA in a crate system. They are all pictured without the glass. But each has a piece of glass made to fit the tops. There are secure tabs to keep them in place. They are made of Teak Wood…beautifully carved!
