And because they don't have the more common lower shelf that is caned. These are all teak and in new condition. Singles come up fairly regularly. I have not been able to find any pairs of this style offered for sale or sold. These appear to have just come from the showroom. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique(early 20th century) petite. French styled tables. These beautiful tables are mahogany and have a crackled and chipping, painted finish. The tables have tiered tops with turned wood supports. The tables have turned wood columns and Duncan Phyfe legs. The tops are in the original wood finish with no paint. The pair is quite lovely. They are in very good, antique condition. The tops have some evidence of use, i.e. water marks, and some scratches. These are not distracting and blend quite nicely with the character of the tables. One of the table tops shows the seam where the wood was connected. It is not cracked or loose, and the top is quite sturdy. The tops have a good coat of polyurethane. But I have not been able to find the exact same design attrtibuted to anyone in particular. They have an ameoba shaped gallery rail around the edge and wonderful modernist legs, all in very good condition as you can see in the photographs. The travertine has some very minor edge knicks and the iron rail has a couple spots where there are holes in the pattern, not bad at all. The tables can be sent FedEx. These are a nice pair of vintage woven cane'Lobster Pot' shape stools/tables designed I believe by Franco Albini and dating from the 1960's. The stools stand 11" high and are 18" diameter. The cane is in good condition with no damage that I can see- one of the stools has tape around the bottom of the legs which are slightly worn otherwise they are in really nice condition for their age and are from a clean and smoke free home. Very nice pair of square mahogany end-tables ca. 1951. Original finish- one appears slightly lighter than the other. Probably due to being near a window. Not noticeable when placed on either side of a sofa. Some discoloration from the previous owners table lamps, though no urgent need to refinish. I had protective glass cut for the tops(included in sale) which actually makes them look better, IMHO. 26" high 20" wide. I've seen these tables in antique stores attributed to Robsjohn-Gibbings, but that is completely untrue, though they have the same nice Klismos leg. This listing is for a beautiful pair of vintage. Matching marble top tables in very nice, gently used condition! Pair includes coffee table and end table. The bottoms of both are made of beautifully hand carved wood(possibly mahogany) in a ornate floral pattern. They are topped with solid slabs of cream and white toned marble that has ornately shaped edges. Coffee table measures: 34" across x 15" high. End table measures: 22" across x 22 1/2" high. The marble table tops do have light scratches that could possibly be buffed out if you know how. No other scuffs. Cracks, stains, chips, etc! Antique/Vtg PAIR Chinese Inlaid Nesting Tables Jade/Semi-Precious Stone
Here is an Antique or Vintage PAIR of Chinese Inlaid Nesting Tables made with Mother-of-Pearl. And Jade or Semi-Precious Stone. These beautiful tables are made of black lacquer with gold painted trim and have scenes of beautiful Asian Woman inlaid in each one. They have Mother-of-Pearl fans and semi-precious stone throughout. These tables have clear glass on top to protect the carvings. This type of Chinese lacquer table with raised hard stone inlay along with mother of pearl and colored lacquers is a very old craft in China. In the late 16th century this type of work was known as"the work of Zhou" After the(attributed) inventor of the technique-Zhou Zhi. For your consideration is a Beautiful Vintage(c.1950's) Rosewood colored Wood& Marble Stands/ End Tables! They are in very good overall condition as you can see in the photographs. Exactly as they were removed from a Boston area estate. We have not cleaned them as you can see but I see no chips or cracks to the marble or damage to the wood outside of normal signs of wear and tear. These lovely pieces are both fully hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling. The city mark for Sheffield, the date mark for 1912 and the maker's mark of Roberts& Belk. The table have 8 panel tops and stand on a"turned" center column with tripod bases. They tables are very well detailed, even down to a drop finial under the bottom of the center columns. Size: Each table measures approximately 3 7/8" tall x 4 11/16" in diameter at the top. The pair weigh 164 grams(one weighs 80 gms. and the other weighs 84 gms.
