Can be stood straight up and down too for using as a display for drawings or artwork. I think it makes an amazing table when its set up flat! It locks down properly, its sturdy, solid, quality built. Its all original and in good working condition. Complete, no missing hardware or parts. The top measures 48" x 38" Center point of table when adjusted flat can be set up in height anywhere from 32-1/2" to 41" The table/desk top is plywood with what appears to be a maple veneer. It appears to have had a border around the edges at some point, missing now, leaving the edges discolored. Could use some restoration or could be replaced easy enough. Wood parts have some character from age and use but still looks great overall. Structurally sound. No cracks or repairs. They just don't make them like this anymore! This is a beautifully handcrafted wooden table lamp. I'm guessing it's from about the 50s. Has the old plug style in good condition. Works. Looks to be layered with two or three types of wood-pine. Oak, Stands 17" tall without shade. Measures 5 1/8" across bottom. Has a couple pine knots, which add to the style and a couple nicks. But overall in excellent condition. So perfect for a mountain lodge or cabin look. It's solid except for the cord hole so it weighs 5 pounds.

Silversmiths, Liverpool' An solid oak table-top cutlery canteen with heavy brass carry handles. It has two arch panelled doors. With brass knobs and a sprung stud locking system(but no key, alas) which open to reveal 5 fitted drawers, also with brass handles. The doors reveal a brass inlay plate with the name Elkington& Co- as per the above markings. Cutlery people will be disappointed to learn that the drawers are empty and no longer fitted for cutlery. They are beatifully lined with velvet. And it is obvious that this has been used as a collectors cabinet, a function for which it is ideally suited. It has some problems. None of which detract from the overall appearance or function- but this is ... moretoo nice a piece for me to attempt repairs. A piece of wood, about an inch long has been lost from above the door hinge, on the top right hand side, and the solid oak back panels have shrunk, and have been carelessly glued back into place- and stand a little proud. I have a dilemma. In that the previous owner applied trim under the base of the cabinet to fit securely into an'ad hoc' stand. This is a more recent piece of oak, with a ply platform shelf, and was once probably a 1950s side table. It looks quite handsome on this'stand' the difference in colour and grain of wood is not too glaring, and could well suit those who want to use it as a collectors cabinet. I have decided to sell it with the'stand' included in the asking price. But if you do not want the'stand' I will deduct £10.00 from anty final agreed price, and you will likely save a substantial amount on postage- especially overseas buyers. Finally. It follows that those who want to return this to its original form, as a stand-alone table top cabinet, will have to remove the thin wood trims on the base, and(ideally) find some suitable feet- the holes in the base indicate that there w

Lots of beautiful carving on this heavy. Solid oak, Jacobean style, dining room set! The trestle table has ornately carved stretchers and legs. The chairs have carved legs, stretchers and unusually-shaped backs and seat fronts. The trestle ends slide out from under the table top to take the table from 66 inches to 108 inches. It is 42 inches wide and 30 inches high. The chairs have a 43 inch tall back. Everything has been refinished to a light stain-almost a birch color. This table came out of the estate of a gentleman who was a doctor in the late 1920's. He purchased the table second hand to use as an exam table in his first office. I have never seen a physician's exam table quite like this before and I suspect that it may have originally been owned by a funeral director and used to display the deceased in their own homes. This was a common practice during the late 1800's but had fallen out of fashion by the 1920's. Most other doctor's exam tables I've seen are adjustable. Vintage 1968 Round Oak Brunch Table and Four Oak Rolling Dining Chairs
This auction is for a vintage Oak"Brunch Table" and four matching Oak rolling chairs. This is all in used condition. But details are listed below. The table's measurements are 43 3/4" across. 25" tall, and 34" long base feet. The table is in very good shape and is fairly stable. But does wobble a bit when pushed on. However, we do live in a very unsettled house and it could be our floor. It's worth mentioning, though. It's made of a beautiful oak, and is stamped on the underside as a"brunch table. It's a fairly short table, and features a very intricate, and possible hand carved, four leg system, which has been pictured. There is a cup ring on top of the table. Note: The oil lamp and deer antlers are not included with this listing. They are just a display piece. Also, the discoloration of the ... moretable in the picture where said pieces have been moved aside is from me being too impatient to properly dry off the table after noticing a smudge. There are no such streaks usually. There are four chairs included and each one is 17" floor to the seat. 28 1/2" floor to the top of the back, with a 22" wide x 18" deep seat. Two of them have no dates stamped on them. One is stamped May 3rd, 1968 and the last is stamped with April 9th, 1968. I don't know why they feature different dates. Each chair is in very good shape and roll very well. They do each squeak when rolling while sitting in them, but that should be able to be oiled up and eliminated. They appear to be upholstered with a leather like product. I'm not sure if it is genuine leather or not. I'll leave that at that. SHIPPING: We are not offering shipping on this item. SUPER quartered oak oval parlor table-14588
This has to be the greatest little quartersawn oak table I have had for sale in many a year. Small size at 33 wide. 18 deep, and 29 high. We have refinised this piece and it is perfect with a smooth and even finish. I guess I would call this late Victorian, maybe stick and ball(ball and stick) style. Note the carving on either end of the stretcher and the nicely turned legs. Great look with the rather elongated oval top. You will be hard pressed to find a better little parlor table.
