Original Antique Tiger Oak Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Library Table Desk with one drawer and shelves on sides. Very nice grain pattern and color. Good used condition. I will describe condition as best as possible and have taken many pictures which show every side of item. PLEASE NOTE- white spots on desk in photos are fresh snowflakes that just started to fall. Desk is stored indoors but photos were taken while moving the desk. Measurements: Approx. 29-1/4" in height. 44" wide at widest part Table Top measures 27-3/4" x 43-7/8" 22" from floor to bottom of drawer legs are 6" wide outside edge of leg to outside edge of other leg approx. 36" shelves on sides have opening approx. 11" high x 24-1/4" wide from floor to bottom of cross pieces between legs is approx. 5-7/8" Handle pulls are original ... moreto desk and could easily be changed as one has a screw through front of knob while other is entirely wood front. There are some scratches and dings to wood as can be seen in photos. One rear leg had slight exposure to dampness at one time and has a little swelling. Which could be sanded and finished but I am leaving item in condition as acquired. Dovetailed drawer has had nails added on both sides for added strength at some point. This is an exceptionally nice antique Arts and Crafts style table. It appears to have been hand crafted completely and each leg is pierced and hand carved out. The table is in fantastic condition too. It is not marked that I can see but appears to be the work of a phenominal craftsman. It is 18 1/2" tall and the top measures 11" wide. Antique Mission Oak Library Desk I can find no markings on this except a#17 in pencil in the drawer slide and a# 17 in pencil in the drawer. I assume they did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of ... morea quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Vintage early California tile top table. I don't know the actual age but suspect 1930s. I believe this is oak. Very solid table with a pretty mission scene on the tile. Wonderful carved design on the sides. Condition is good. The tile has a few chips on the edge. The wood has some scuffs and worn edges from age- I think the major thing with the wood is that the beautiful dark stain has been very much rubbed off the top. So you will have to address that issue. The table has unusual form with a lower shelf set high and two keyed through tenons on the sides. There are double pins at the top and bottom and the legs have a nice taper towards the bottom. Antique MISSION OAK Folksy Arts & Crafts UNIQUE 12 Sided TABLE Stand AS IS
This auction is for an antique most unusual MISSION. ARTS& CRAFTS, Victorian era side accent table. Here comes the story on the table. It sat in the corner of my grandparents summer cottage for all 70 years that they owned the cottage. It originally held a lamp that was an apothecary jar filled with marbles. I only mention that. Because my brother through a"Dick and Jane" book at me, and it broke the lamp, and the marbles went everywhere. Our butts were sore for the entire evening after that. When my family sold the cottage. I just had to have the table. I took it home, placed it in a corner with a huge fern on it until, I moved out of that house in 1988. When I was moving the table is the first time I ever noticed that one& half of the six legs were broken off. I was telling my mom about it, and she laughed and told me ... morethat I must be blind because the legs were gone since before I was born in 1947. She told me that was the reason it was in the corner for all those years. I can't believe I missed it. It never wobbled for me. And, as you can see, it stands straight when you have things placed on it. The top needs refinishing for sure. It has 12 sides to it. And a beading ball rim. The oak body has rounded off ridges running the length of the table. There are cut out diamond shapes around the table. If you can live with the unusual leg problem. And love things in a shabby condition, you could really love this true ARTS& CRAFTS little table. It can be used in many styles of home decor. Such as,Steampunk, Victorian, Arts& Crafts, Gothic, and if you dare to paint it, shabby and chic. James Mattson Mica table lamp - arts and crafts mission style - artist original
Artist James Mattson writes: This is a mica table lamp I made in 1998. It was one of the first lamps I'd made. And I was still re-inventing the acid-etched copper process. Here, I was using asphaltum paint as a resist material, and the etching is full of imperfections; there are actual"brush strokes" in the copper. And areas where the copper is eaten almost entirely away. It never would have worked for making multiple items, but it's very interesting here. Virtually all of my lamps have original designs, but the cattail pattern on this early one is taken from a traditional arts-and-crafts style cattail design. Talk about a one-of-a-kind lamp! It measures approximately 18" wide and 19" high. It takes two 40 watt bulbs.

The table is made of solid quarter sawn oak and it has the original finish. The top of the table is thick and solid. It is 1 1/4 inches thick! The table features an unusual design with an oval top. Bookshelves underneath, slats on the sides, faceted wooden, decorative buttons along the legs and sides. The table is numbered 724 underneath. This is a mission or arts and crafts period table. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. Appears to be quarter sawn oak with tiger oak grain top. Good condition overall, but needs glue/repair where lower shelf attachs to leg(see photo) Also has one light spot on top. This is a nice tall table that would work in many locations. One center drawer. Antique Mission Arts & Crafts Plant Stand Small Table 2 Tier Hexagonal Shape
Being offered for your consideration is this Mission. Arts& Crafts Style small table or plant stand. It measures 18" tall and it's six-sided top measures 10-1/2" across(at widest point) It has a sort of three-prong shaped base that sits about 4" up from the bottom, which could be used as a second tier for holding a potted plant. The bottoms of legs are bare wood- there are no metal or rubber feet or felt covering. The wood finish on this stand is in great shape. Especially when you consider it's age. Although nothing stands out as evident, there may be a small blemish or surface scratch here and there, commensurate with age. Also the top of stand has what looks to be some spots of residual white paint in the wood grain. I tried to photograph this, but it doesn't really show up in the pictures. Auction is for a really beautiful vintage ecru linen table runner that I would date to the Mission/Arts& Crafts era. Runner is in really excellent condition and measures 42" in length and is 16" wide. The design is done in part petite pointe embroidery and workmanship is incredibly detailed and delicate. The color scheme is a tranquil gray and an orangy/rust color with black accents. There are a few small places where the embroidered black design that goes around the entire edge of the runner has broken threads. But can I believe, be easily repaired. You really have to look for these breaks in the thread though. Please make sure you take a close look at the photos I have up to determine the condition and the beauty of this vintage item. Antique end table. Occasional table from early 1900's or before. It stands about 21 inches tall with a 13 1/2 square top. Underneath there are brackets for support and an old crayon mark from the maker that looks like the number 125. I am not sure of the style. Perhaps Eams or Crafstman style?Has normal scuffs and scratches from wear and age. I am not an expert on antiques, but I do know this is a very old piece and grew up with it in my home. But still rather simple and natural in design, I think Mission style of the Arts and Crafts style movement– Color is a white– Would look fabulous on the heavy wooden furniture of the Mission Arts and Crafts period. Unusual lace technique– The border of this antique runner was said to be a type of lace by the experts on the ebay needlearts discussion board– There was debate as to the type of technique. Though. One thought that it was a Bobbin lace. But did not know if it was hand or machine made– Another thought it was Needle Lace– If experts can further give details on age. Early style history, or how these works were made, please let me know. The ovals are not delicate and thin as one normally thinks of lace– The ovals are heavy– maybe from a heavy natural ... morelinen– Each of the oval is approximately 1 inch long and approximately 3/4ths of an inch wide– Very dense– and they appear to take a lot of intricate work to create. This piece is a heavy natural fabric off white runner– this heavy bobbin or needle lace borders all 4 sides of the runner. Size: The border is deep– approx 3 inches on both sides. And approx 3 ½ inches on both ends. Complete size: is approx 43 inches long and 15 inches wide. Condition: There are no stains on this piece. Antique Primitive Mission Arts &Crafts Style Stickley(?) Plant Stand Small Table
Primitive Antique Mission Style wood plant stand/small table. Another genuine early furniture piece that belonged to my Grandfather. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. Wonderful primitive and rustic look with wear to many of the edges and residual white paint along one leg with some small splatters elsewhere. Joints are nice and tight and table is still very solid and sturdy. A stylish addition to any Mission Style or Country Farmhouse Decor! This auction is for a fabulous all original Roycroft Journey table/book stand. It is made of quarter sawn oak and has its original finish. The finish is much darker than it appears in some of the photographs. Three of the photos show the true darker color. It is signed on the bottom leg with its original brass Roycroft plate. This table is in excellent condition. I could really find no flaws to mention. There are no cracks or repairs to this piece.
