Outstanding Antique Mission / Arts & Crafts Oak Side table - Sturdy Sturdy!
This has always been one of my favorite arts& crafts side tables. I love the look.I love the size.the patina is incredible.and it us incredibly sturdy! The oak table stands 18" tall. The round top has a diameter of 9 1/2" It's in great shape! There is one old split on one of the lower cross bars which I have captured in the last two photos. To be honest. I've never even noticed it before I took the photos. It doesn't really show, but I wanted to capture it in the description. Up for auction is this nice Handel S palm table lamp. The shade measures 19.5" wide and 7.25"deep it contains 8 sunset glass panels under a palm tree metal overlay design and 8 green glass panels under a S design. The shade is in great shape and marked as shown in the photos. The base is a nice complement to the shade the heavy griffin. It measures 27" high and it to is in great shape and is marked Handel as shown in the photos The shade will be packed in spray foam and a custom wood crate will be built for it to assure it will arrive to its new home safely.

We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. There are some minor nicks and dings from use, but again, nothing too obvious or distracting. There is one screw cover that is missing on the back of the desk(see ... morephoto 10) The desk is sturdy and the screws can be tightened if they loosen. Original Antique Charles Limbert Arts & Crafts Mission Library Table Desk 1910
Fabulous Charles Limbert Quartersawn Oak Library Table. I believe the finish is original as well as the hardware(obviously screws& washers have been replaced) This is not a claim I make lightly. Please see pics! Burned Limbert Arts& Crafts stamp on inside of drawer on the left. Measures 42” wide x 30” deep x 29 1/2” height. Condition: Pretty amazing. No cracks anywhere. It's a very solid. Sturdy, handsome construction. Flaws: On the top of the desk there is a spot on the right that is darker(see pic#9) where it looks like someone probably sat an ink bottle then tried to remove a bit of ink. It looks like it's been there for a very long time. It's not an eyesore but needs to be pointed out. There is also a very small gouge or nick on the right side(see pic#12) On the left leg there is a strange"mystery" spot(flat) ... morewith a tiny spot of paint next to it(see pic#10) Lastly. On the back edge of the top you see a little paint where someone put it up against a wall when there was wet paint(see pic#11) The inside drawer does have ink stains. If you'd like a pic I can certainly send it. Pic#6 is a close-up of the finish on the drawer(outside) to help uphold my claims of it being the original finish. I'm really just trying to point out anything I see as a flaw no matter how small. I've made no attempt to oil it or clean it with any chemicals. Vintage Thick Heavy Mission Oak Crafted Table w/ drawer 1800's /early 1900's
You are bidding on a very old. Mission oak table. The age is uncertain, but with the following information, you can make an educated guess. It was purchased from the estate of Judge Parker in Cullman, Alabama around 1915. It was located in the judges entry parlor. It was most likely in the judge's family for many years prior to his death/estate liquidation. It remained in the possesion of another Cullman family until the 1990's when it was inherited and moved to the Athens, GA area. It is made of solid oak. 1.5" thick on the top, sides and bottom cross piece. The top is 48" x 29.5" The flared legs are 32" wide at the floor, and 30" in height from the floor to the underside of the table top. The midde cross piece that connects the legs is 16" wide in the middle, 27" wide on the ends and 37" long. ... moreThe drawer can slide open on either side of the table. The outiside dimensions of the drawer are 21" x 26" The last picture shows the underside of the drawer. The wood is in extremely beautiful condition for its age. The only major defect is a split in the wood on one of the flared legs. Due to the fact that the top of the table is bolted onto the entire width of the flared leg. This split does not affect the sturdiness of the table(also the pins hold the leg onto the middle piece on each side of the split) See pics to see how the top is secured to the sides as well as the split. The split could probably be repaired by a professional. One of the pins has been repaired cosmetically(see pics) Also on the top of the table, there is a gap between two of the boards just toward the end, see pic(not the same end as the split leg, so it is not a result of that, may have been like this in its original construction) The table can be viewed prior to purchase by calling 706-543-7985. We want to start this listing by saying we have handled a lot of arts& crafts& mission oak pieces in our collective careers but none of us have ever seen a piece like this before. There are no labels or brands on it. We find this odd for such a high quality and ingenious piece. Be that as it may. This wonderful game table is adorned by super copper hinges& escutcheon with hand made iron rivets. It has a front compartment with an intact lock(it came to us without the key) that houses a cute little copper topped splayed stool fastened with a dozen iron hand hammered rivets ... morematching the ones on the hinges and escutcheon. The entire game table and stool are made from solid quartersawn(tiger) oak in a super original finish. The stool has flared ends and on the other side two storage compartments. One has three small shelves with doweled backs to hold decks of cards, chess or checkers pieces. The other compartment has 9" wide and 15" tall recessed cavity with retaining bar designed to hold a game board. This exceptionally fine game table has a swivel top with a concealed storage compartment and each of its four sides have three decorative grooves in them. The green felt on the inside of the game table is a bit worn but it will last a while longer. The base has original brass caster pivoting wheels in a protruding ball like oak housing. Please excuse the table leaning a bit in our pictures. That was our placing it on an unlevel piece of our parking lots pavement and no doubt did not level it in the camera's view finding devices. This Mission rte& Crafts era table is 12" across and 17" high. It is in classic Mission style and it from the period- 1910-1920. It came from an estate in Warwick NY that was mainly furnished with Mission pieces both signed and unsigned. This is unsigned. It may have been refinished or re-stained at some point in its history as the stain looks dark to me and I can see it on the underside. Which I have shown. This is the condition and appearance I found it in. If this bothers you please don't bid on this piece. Very nice detail on the legs. The table has its original pink marble top with some wear around the edges. As you can see. vintage early 1900s Mission Arts Crafts Stand Oak Cabinet End Table Night Stand
Wonderful early 1900's Mission Oak stand/ cabinet with one drawer and one drawer. Great overhanging top that is accented by the cabinet that widens as it goes down(from 14-3/4" at the top it goes to 16-1/2" wide at the feet) Measures 30-3/4" tall with a top that is 22" across the front and 19-1/4" deep. Great size for use as a lamp table. Nightstand, microwave or computer stand. It's very well built and sturdy. One of the best looking Arts& Crafts cabinets of this size that I have come across which is why I have used it in my home for the last 20 years. Original early 1900's Arts& Crafts Period oak pedestal stand. Measures 36-1/4" tall with a 12" square top and a base that is 14-1/4" each way. There is a remnant of its original paper label still in place on the underside but not enough to identify the manufacturer. This is a very solid and sturdy solid oak stand. RARE 1910s Arts & Crafts style Niloak Pottery MISSION WARE ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP
Here is a 1910s-20s Arts and Crafts style Niloak pottery Mission Ware table lamp that measures a little over 11 inches tall(including the electric light bulb socket at the top) The art pottery portion measures about 8.5 inches tall and is marked NILOAK near the edge of the bottom of the base. Several other Niloak Mission Ware lamps that I've seen appear to be made from vases that were converted to lamps. As you can see. This was definitely made by Niloak as a lamp. Next to the hole(on the bottom of the base) where the power cord passes through is an incised X that was made by the Niloak potter who made this lamp. This X showed where the hole for the power cord was to be drilled. This cord is cloth covered, has an early looking plug and appears to be original to the lamp. On the light bulb socket at the top I see the words LEVITON PATENTED. ... moreThe socket and the outer portion of the pottery shows years of grime. You can best see this grime on the light portions of the clay. There are also some smaller, less distracting, pencil-like marks that can be seen in a few areas. These types of marks are common on mat finished art pottery. I'm sure a good cleaner can remove them and the years of grime on the rest of the outer surface. The bottom of the base shows far less grime than the outer surface. Here, you can see that the lamp's interior is NOT glazed whereas most pieces of Mission Ware have glazed interiors. Fortunately there are no chips, cracks or any repairs on this lamp. The switch on the light socket works although the socket itself has a slight lean. I'm sure a vintage lamp repair expert could easily fix this and replace the cord to where this would be safe to operate. Even with the grime-filled outer surface, this is still a nice looking lamp that displays well like it is. Antique stickley era arts and crafts table lamp slag glass mission style
For sale is a nice metal arts and crafts style lamp with slag glass shade. Nice glass in the shade. Looks great when lit. I'm not sure if the lower panels of glass are original or not, they look good and could possibly be original. The lamp has been rewired and is ready for safe use in your home. The shade has a little slight bending on the bottom edge of one side but it doesn't effect the shade at all. And there are 2 screws that were replaced to hold the shade holder to the base. Again, this doesn't effect the lamp, but I wanted to mention it for accuracy. The lamp stands 21" tall, and the shade is 12" x 12" Flat rate shipping will be $35 to the lower 48 states. OLD HAND MADE OAK SMALL TABLE / PLANT STAND ARTS & CRAFTS MISSION STYLE 2 TIER
Top shelf is 18" from floor. Bottom shelf is 5" from floor. Support columns are 20 1/8" tall x 3 1/8" wide x 1" thick. Shelves are approximately 11 7/16" x 9 7/16" Obviously hand crafted. This little table has no obvious signs of nails or glue, yet it is very sturdy. Bottom shelf looks to have been made in 2 pieces of wood I believe to be oak with a dark stain as it' heavy for the size, though I'm certainly no authority of wood grains. Apparently, the craftsman ran out of stain as one inside column near floor is a bit unfunished. View close ups for a better idea. Top shelf exhibits crack as pictured. Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Stickley Roy Croft Style Table Lamp. Offered for your consideration are a very rare and nice elegant form and style early 1900’s most likely 1910 Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Table Lamp. With double light sockets and a single pull chain. It has a total of 72 brass rivets and is beautifully constructed out of solid Oak Wood with a great original patina. It has four(4) panels of dark root beer colored textures glass that’s frame into place. It also comes with what maybe the original nylon wiring and plug in. It is a solid lamp very tight wood construction. Unsigned Condition: The oak wood is superb and 100% original patina. Each original panel of glass has a crack. 3 with a single crack and 1 with two cracks which is very difficult to notice due to the darkness of the glass, the glass is quite safe being ... morethat it is framed in between wood and barely move or shift. The glass can be replaced if one desire too. The glass will be tape with a non glue adhesive painters tape for a total safe shipping and easy to remove tape.
