Hagerstown Maryland is a pleasant drive from Washington DC& Virginia. We're just 20 miles from Frederick Maryland. Hagerstown also borders Pennsylvania& West Virginia. For your consideration is this quality vintage 1940’s-50’s End Table. It’s designed in a Frank Lloyd Wright Style. There are 2 sets of numbers etched into the underside of the table(see photos) It also has a lower shelf. This piece is in very good vintage condition being approx 50-60 or so years old and is structurally sound and sturdy. It is free of breaks or repairs with only normal age appropriate signs of use including some rubs. Gorgeous Rosewood Sewing Table/chest can also be used as an entry or side table and can stand alone as back is finished as well. Dated approx. 1960. From Denmark and extremely high quality. It is finished on all sides including the back. Opening the drawers still gives off the fine and slight odor of the wood. Detail was given to this piece as seen with the very prominent continual Rosewood grain across the top and down the sides. Chest was designed to accomidate sewing materials and includes a fitted top drawer in perfect condition. The second drawer is deeper and perfect for almost anything. No stains or discoloration are found in this piece. The finish is in excellent condition and appears to be original so no refinishing was done. There is one area. MID CENTURY SPACE AGE LAMP LUCITE & CHROME LAMP 34" MCM MID CENTURY TABLE LAMP
A spectacular lamp. It's not like it was never used but it's pretty darned nice. From the top of the light three way light socket to the bottom of the 7"x7"x1-3/4" wood base it measures 26" I put a 9" brass harp on it. Because it didn't have one. So, with that harp it's about 34" high. I could include a different size brass harp on it if requested, but you may want to get a chrome or silver one anyway. The"ball" is about 9" in diameter. The ball is like what they call spagetti, except it was made with a ribbed ribbon of lucite about 7/8" wide. You can see the detail in one of my photos. Lucite"bow" is about 1/4" thick. Measuring in a straight line from top to bottom, it's about 18-1/2" In a straight line side to side, it's about 10-1/2" The ... morewidth of the"bow" is about 3" at it's widest point. The wood base could use a little touch up with black paint, and a single small rust spot on the back side of the bottom chrome piece. It looks a little exaggerated in my last photo. One of the few pieces of furniture by Jeorg Jensen this striking table is at once both organic and geometric. Made of solid teak and with it's original glass top it is a wonderful example of mid century modernism. Dimensions: Height of base: 41cm Width of base: 46cm Diameter of top: 75cm Condition: Fabulous original condition. The frame is sturdy and not faded. There are a couple of minor scratches to the glass. The mounts between the base and the top are original. Our very stylish Desk is Mica Covered in a richly grained wood pattern resembling Platinum Pecan and offers three spacious drawers on its left side together with a nice utility drawer on its right side. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century Modern, etagere shelf/stand. This wonderful shelving unit features ornate, gilded iron and four glass shelves. The iron has a hammered/textured finish which is, in fact, a thick gesso application. The unit is fixed and is one piece. It is a"square" cubist piece with two back shelves and two front shelves, all of different, staggered heights. It is a beautiful and very high quality piece. It has no manufacturer's markings but is very similar in style to Milo Baughman's designs. The etagere is in very good condition with only minor signs of age. The original. Fantastic Lane Mid-Century Danish Modern Eames Era Round Occasional Table-No Reserve! We are offering for your bidding this great example of mid-century Danish Modern furniture by Lane. Although not marked with the Lane stamp. I was able to locate the patent through the US Patent Office web site, and the patent was assigned to the Lane Corporation on January 11, 1966. The patent document also has a drawing of the table. The table is in good condition, featuring what I believe to be walnut with a dark smoke grey glass top insert. There are no cracks in the wood. This table would be a nice complement to other vintage Danish Modern pieces. Although I search the web extensively, I was not able to find another example of this particular table for sale currently or in the recent past, so I must assume that this model is hard to find. Heywood Wakefield 3753 Mid-Century Modern 3 Tier Step Surfboard End Table
I have a 1950's Heywood Wakefield 3753 3 tier end table for sale. It was refinished. But the markings on the bottom indicate that it was originally the champagne finish(see photos) The number"3753" is visible on the bottom with what looks like a"c" preceeding it. There are refinishing materials on eBay and other places on the internet that match the original HW champagne color and finish, or I suppose it could be restored to the HW wheat finish to match other pieces in your collection. This would be a great piece to bring back to its original glory, especially if you need to complete your set. It was manufactured with Phillips head screws. There is very slight separation on the main table surface(see photos 4& 5) The surfaces appear smooth without gouges or digs. Table is solid and study. I think it may have been made from a real drum. Or it may just have been constructed to look that way. It has four wheels underneath, and it rolls very well. It is covered in a mahogany veneer with side silver metal drum accents. This drum table measures 24" across the top. And stands 19 1/2" tall. This amazing vintage drum table is in very good condition with just some old residual polyurethane residue on the underside of the top edges. One scratch near the middle on the top, and one extremely shallow veneer fissure near the scratch. The top has a bit of an uneven sheen to the finish as well.
