Custom Order-Built upon Order Furniture Ships VIA UShip Private Carriers I was asked if I could make ... morea simplified and smaller version of a 1958 Nakashima for Widdicomb Sundra table out of walnut with some bowties inlaid. T his is what I came up with. This table measures approximately 58" wide and ranges from 21" to 14" wide. Stands 13" tall. I can make this table in different sizes and configurations to suit your needs and wants. There are three legs. Each is four side tapered and sculpted with files and a block plane to rounded circular feet. The legs are mortised completely through the rails to provide strength. The rails are pitched to the same angle for visual consistency- not that many will look underneath but I do this an y way- makers details. The top is splined and I included three English brown oak bowties which provide a very subtle and elegant look. The edges are formed with a block plane and spoke shaves into flares and bevels- wonderfully tactile. All of my work begs to be touched. The entire table is finished with five coats of tung oil with a furniture paste wax top coat. Each table will be a bit different due to grains and colors in the wood. Widths of boards available(2 pieces or 3) bowtie placement based on needs of the top unless they are decorative only. Each table is its own unique piece. Base price is $ 800 up this size before shipping. Larger dimensions will cost more. Shipping will be done via the UShip website with insurance. I am happy to work with you to get quotes. I can also drop off in the Philadelphia area and a little beyond for an additional fee based on drive time. Local pick up can be arranged as well. PA buyers to add 8% sales tax.

ANOTHER ONE OF MY VINTAGE ITEMS! DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is a Vintage Lamp! It is a great Mid Century Modern table lamp! Most probably from the mid 1950s, it was manufactured by the Majestic Lamp Co. Of NYC. Check out my! This very unusual Majestic lamp, is constructed of brass metal and walnut wooden base, and still has it's original fiberglass/material shades. The lamp has a 3 way switch. first click turns on the top shade second click turns on bottom shade and third click turns on both shades together The lamp's measurements are: about 28 inches high at it's highest point. and about 24 inches wide f ro m shade to s h a de. Also the wooden base is about 10 1/2 inches long, and 5 1/4 inches wide. The two asymmetric fiberglass shades have the same measurements: about 10 inches wide and 11 inches high. The wooden base has marks and areas of missing varnish, and also a small crack.although it is still very sturdy. see last 2 pictures) Also both shades show damage, with small rips. Holes, and stains. It's mostly the top shade that is damaged.see pictures) The lacing was re done on both shades, because it was almost completely gone when I found the lamp. Always keep in mind that these Majestic lamps are about 60 years old. They are very hard to come by in the first place, and that it's even harder to find them in perfect condition. Upper shelves on both the end tables and coffee table have gold trim on each side of the shelves. End tables are 29 1/2 inches in length and 17 1/2 inches in width. Upper tier is 13 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. Coffee table is also in excellent condition, has bottom shelf same size as top-39 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches and 16 inches in height. We bought it in Copenhagen. Denmark, which makes us believe it could be Danish or Swedish. Possibly by Fog& Morup or(the glass part) Holmegaard of Denmark. It would look great in any mid-century interior but also in a colorful children’s room. We classify it as rare as we cannot find any reference to it in any database or reference page on the web. The light fixture is fitted into a plastic holder that in its turn fits into the bottom of the glass lamp. Changing the bulb is therefore very easy. A very nice detail is that the plastic holder has 4 places where you can put the cord through to make the lamp stand better. Measurements: It stands 16 cm/6.3 inches ... moretall with a diameter of about 13 cm/5.1 inches. It is in good working condition. It comes with the old(original? unearthed cord and European plug. The cord is 3 meters/118.1 inches long. Please note the lamp was made for the European market at 220/230 Volt. If you are under a different light scheme(for example the USA or Japan) You will need to rewire the lamp, which is not that difficult as it is a single bulb lamp. Condition: There is a chip of 12 mm x 4 mm off at the very bottom. Once positioned on a table this is hardly noticeable and turned away from your view of course not at all. The rest of the glass lamp is in mint condition. The plastic elements(holder. Cord) have some discoloration, which is very natural in view of their age. If you are clicking open this auction. You know what theses Jens Risom floating table are about. The walnut Mid Century Tapered floating leg system is a beautiful thing. Gives the illusion of the"floating top" The original Jens sticker still attached to 1 of the tables, the others have gone missing. The tops are laminate with side wood edging. Table tops measure 27 3/4" x 20 3/4" Height of table top 23 1/2" Theses are used tables and yes they have slight wear but still very nice for there age. Leg frames are still tight, walnut in good condition. Laminate tops have surface scratches from use. As you can see I haven't even dusted the tops of the legs. 1960s MID CENTURY MODERN Set Of 2 GENIE BOTTLE Style Ceramic Table Lamps WOW!
Here's a beautiful set of mid century modern table lamps that have a unique genie bottle design that's oh so retro! I love the alternating painted pebbled stripes on their sides and the black flared base sets off the look wonderfully. Can you imagine them lighting up a special area in your home? Both have been tested and work fine. On/off switch is located near the bulb. They come with the white fabric shades you see. Each lamp measures approx 35 inches with shade on. Ceramic portion of lamp is approx 20 inches tall and 9 inches wide in the thickest section. In excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks or major detractions. There is a small approx 1.5 inch of missing white paint on the back side of one lamp. As well one shade has a 2.5 inch stain on one side. For sale is a killer vintage Danish Modern style all teak table lamp in an abstract sculptural shape. It is the type of lamp that you would see on the Mad Men series on tv. It is about 37 inches tall to top of finial without shade(with shade shown about 40 inches and has a base that is about 6 1/2 inches square. The teak sculptual section is about 27 inches. The wooden sections curve around a shiny brass section that connects base to bulb holder. Lamp has good working wiring and bulb holder that has a three way switch. The lamp is in excellent condition. Vintage eames era mid century Danish Modern table lamps teak? with shades
For sale is a pair of vintage mid century Danish Modern style wood and brass table lamps. I purchased these at an estate sale that had many awesome pieces that came from a home that was decorated with mid century modern pieces. They are about 20 inches tall to top of finial without shade(with shade about 22) And have a 5 inch base. The bases of the lamps are a shiny brass colored metal and the body of the lamps are a wood which I believe to be teak or some other hard wood. The metal parts do show some tarnishing and scuffs. Both of these things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not interfere with the overall beauty or function of lamps. Include as a matter of accuracy of description. Shades are a part of the auction and measure about 11 inches tall and are about 8 1/2 inches wide on the top and bottom. They are made ... moreout of what I believe to be fiberglass or some other similar material(not cloth) They have a very textured surface and are awesome when lit(see pictures) They are in excellent shape without any rips or discoloration but there is a very small section of the one shade that is pushed in. It looks like something was against it and has left this mark. It is very hard to see and does not interfere with the overall beauty of shades. Again include as a matter of accuracy of description. Both lamps have good working wiring and bulb holders. These are beautiful Danish Modern lamps that would look beautiful in many home styles and in many rooms within those homes.
