Mid Century Eames Era Danish Modern Kai Kristiansen Rosewood Nesting Tables
You are bidding on this very clever set of Danish Modern nesting tables. Designed in the sixties by Kai Kristiansen. The design is such that the tables will nest together to form a cube when not in use. All three table tops measure 15-3/4" square and all tables are 16-1/4" tall. The joinery on the legs is tongue and grove and they are attached to the tables with flat head screws. In very good vintage condition with only minor wear. You are bidding on a beautiful mid century modern walnut cabinet. This is a beautiful piece with two sliding doors. We aquired this piece in an estate that we purchased so I do not know the age or the maker. The dimensions are 32" W x 15 1/2" D x 30 3/4" H. The piece in in great shape. The top does have a black mark on it looks like marker. It can probably be gotten off but I do not know enough about furniture to try it. There are also a few looks like water marks on the top but again minor and I am sure a good cleaning would fix. The back has a little discoloration but the structure of the piece is great and solid. This home had been closed up for years so it does need a good cleaning. Color matched Mersman Guitar Pick step end lamp tables Mid Century Danish Modern
This is the latest project with my 86 year old Dad. I found these two tables at a vintage store next to each other and decided to take them home. We thought the tops would be glorious in a Yellow Squash semi-gloss paint by Better Homes& Garden. So we sanded. Primed/sealed the tops and applied three coats of the finish with steel wool between coats. We are super excited about the end product and hope you are too. One table is a signed Mersman guitar pick end or lamp table. The legs are a triangle base with tapered Danish Modern peg legs. The top is 24" in diameter(roughly) and the table height is 22" The step end table is unsigned but the leg color and shape was a good match with the Mesrman. The second tier of the table is at the same height as the Mersman(22"H) My inspiration for this pair came from a cute boutique hotel ... morein Washington DC. DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a pair of vintage mid century modern danish end tables with cane bottoms. They are made by Hammary. The dimensions of each are 20" width x 28" depth x 22" height and weight is 18 pounds each. They are in great structual shape just a few minor flaws. and have been sitting in a closed up home for years so they so need minor cleaning. On the back of one leg there is a small ding. But can easily be covered and on the tops there are a few scratches(see pics) the bottom shelf also has a minor scratch. Measures 20" tall x 14" diameter a rare pair of chrome tubular glass top tables. Nice design very nice condition one of the legs has a light haze to the chrome which I attempted to capture. It will likely clean. These are in very nice and were well kept. One would be hard pressed to find another. I am not certain they are Tuttle or Baughman but I can certainly say attributed to them.
