Please know that one of the sides had a 6 1/2" slit in the seam which has now been repaired. I tried to show this in the photograph but it is visually almost non-existent. You cannot see the glue but the seam is rough to the touch. Also there is a 5" hairline crack on the seam of the opposite side- untouched since it is barely noticeable nor deep. Up for auction is a ORIGINAL late 1950's-early 1960's coffee& end table 3 piece set. This set was purchased from a lake estate and was in storage for many years. This set consists of a round center coffee table that is 35 1/2" across x 14 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" thick. The matching end tables are 28" long x 17 1/2" wide x 21 1/2" tall(from the tallest shelf) This mid-century modern set has multi-colored enameled ceramic"stones" of beige. Black& white making up the intricate design. These"stones" were hand applied over particle board(It appears that the company used pieces of upside down formica counter top) then grout applied. We are pleased to offer this unique pair of Mid Century nightstands or side tables. The pair were made in Italy and feature sleek and modern. Regency style. They have white gloss side profiles and beautiful, creamy, off white and gray"faux marble" laminate tops and front profiles. They are squared/boxed in shape. They break from the squared shape at the top of the front. This area is angled and features a long mirrored glass accent. They each have two large drawers which provide generous storage. There is no hardware(drawer pulls or knobs) to distract from the striking vein pattern of the faux marble. The pair do not have any manufacturer's marks or stickers. However, one of the pieces still retains the"Made in Italy" sticker on the back. The pair are in good condition with a couple cosmetic signs of age/use. One of ... morethe nightstands has a cigarette stain on the top. This is not a burn that has eroded the laminate. It is a stain that has penetrated and discolored the surface. The other stand has an area of surface cracking to the laminate(photo#10) It is not terribly distracting. The mirrors are free of chips, breaks, etc. but there are small areas of loss of the mirrored paint around the border(photo#2) Again, this is not distracting. The nightstands are very heavy. The one with red and blue flowers has some rust and paint loss around the edges and a bit on the underside. There is a bit of rust on some of the legs. One of the plastic wrap-a-rounds on the three legs is broken and has been repaired with duct tape. Which is working very well. Only one table has the original three little plastic pieces that go on the end of the legs. I took lots of pictures showing the worst of the damage. Vtg Pair Mid Century Modern Lane End Side Occasional Tables- Perception
Price is for the pair. Original finish. One table is missing two of the brass finials/spacers. Which seems to have weakened only one leg/table joint and caused it to become unstable at the manufactured joint. It has been re-glued. The stress caused a SMALL crack in the side piece which runs between the legs and a hairline crack on the leg, and a LONG time ago, some doofus put Scotch tape on it to"repair" it! BUT, just butt this corner up against the furniture or a wall and you won't notice. The finials ARE in place in the front, but are missing in the back. It's not really all very noticeable. The other table is fine.Tops are in good shape. Both tops and legs show some normal wear. Some light spotting and scratches, but nothing awful. Just showing its beautiful age.

PR Mid Century Modern Adrian Pearsall For Lane Walnut End Occasional Tables
A matching pair of Mid Century Modern end tables by Lane. The design is atrributed to Adrian Pearsall. The tables measure, 21" across the top 16" tall with a 12 1/2" footprint These tables do not look like they were ever oiled and have no waxy buildup. I have not even cleaned these as they were so well taken care of. There are differing views on what is best so I will leave that up to the buyer. There are a few dings to the top very minimal. One chip on an edge that is shown in the photos(I believe this was done by the families movers just before I received them) Please ask questions if you have them. One of the nicest mid century tables I have ever seen- attributed to Adrian Pearsall- the biomorphic shape of base and brass planters are awesome the matching coffee table is listed! Solid. Heavy Mahogany in rare original blonde finish- tables are in excellent condition. These are incredible table- all original- period perfect, not an inferior reproduction. The glass ha sone thumb nail size chips that can be repaired these are the original tops has the beveled edge and correct thickness. The coffee table was sold with matching end tables that I will list. Rare find Approximate dimensions- table 31"w x 21"t 20' deep.
