The chairs had two sets of upholstery on them; an 80's reupholster that went over the original camel colored leather. The original camel colored leather was beyond repair. I decided to keep the same color- and used 100% genuine leather. I also had 1" of cushion inserted, and even though the original straps were still okay underneath I went ahead and had them replaced, too. There are some slight scuffs on the chair legs. And some deep abrasions on the legs of the table as seen in picture 5. In picture 9 you can see a repair on a side chair leg. Vintage 60's Mid Century Modern Danish Modern gateleg dining table& chairs. Tambour door enclosed storage area with green felt lining that stores chairs away. Includes three chairs. I believe it to be a walnut veneer. Made in Romania- faint stamp mark to underside of one chair. Measures 28 1/2" H x 61 3/4" W x 34" D when fully opened up. Each fold up leaf is 25 1/2" W- the center area is 10 3/4" W& the full width with both leaves folded down is only 13" Perfect apartment size dining table that can be used with just one leaf up or also function as a console table when not in use. Vintage Chromcraft Dining Set Table 4 Chairs Mid-Century Modern Dinette 60's/70
These are available for pick up here ONLY. No shipping. If you don't have anything big enough to haul them in I will deliver within 100 miles for a fee of $150. If I have toll roads it will be more. If you are closer I can do it for less. You get 4 chairs with the table that went with them. Chairs are signed Chromcraft Decorables Selection 1967. seat height is 18" in front and sort of angles down in the back so you set comfortably. Back height is 34 1/2" Seat is 18 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep. Bases are cast aluminum and polished and are 17 1/4" across the closest points 23 3/4" across the far ends. They roll and swivel nicely. Seat height without the rollers is 15" Center shaft from the base to the bottom of the chair is chrome plated steel. One of the chairs is missing 3 of the inserts that hold the ... morewheels in. I just put some electrical tape on them and they stay in place ok. Another of the chairs has a hole drilled in each foot where they had a screw installed to hold the rollers in place. They put too small an insert into them and it wouldn't hold the wheels in properly. Also on the others I had to shim the rollers with electrical tape as the inserts are worn. A few rollers stay like they should but not many. If you wanted to fix them properly you can find correct inserts in hardware stores/home centers. You find these chairs with a vinyl covering quite often but seldom with cloth. Cloth looks good with no holes or tears or stains. You can partially see the seam on one of them along the side edge if you pull the back upholstery back. You cannot see it unless you do pull the side back. Table without the extra leaf is 30" tall by 41 1/4" round. Leaf is 17 5/8" wide making the size together 41 1/4" by almost 59" It is a formica like wood grain veneer. We aren't very knowledgeable about shipping this kind of thing. So this is offered for pick up only at our warehouse in Anaheim. California(near Disneyland) We can't pack it or provide shipping, for example. you'll have to arrange to pick it up or work out a deal with something like uship.com or similar. Very original 1960's table attributed to designer Kai Kristiansen in very presentable condition. The table is marked only with"Made in Denmark" as shown. Could probably use a bit more cleaning than we gave it. But still very attractive. Removed from the estate of the original 1960's purchaser just last week. As you can see, this looks pretty good. All intact and looks great. Solid as a rock. this is a solid. Heavy table made right and meant to last a lifetime or more. Two scratches on top shown in my closeup ... morephoto with the pointing fingers. The wood, however, looks very nice in general and I found no signs of previous repairs. and no repairs needed now. Table extends with the use of one or two of the built-in extensions. These have a clever"elevator" system I have not seen before. pull the table apart and one or both leaves rise into position. With the extensions in place. This measures a big 9.5' feet long and will seat all your family and friends at one table! Unextended. This is about 71" long(just under 6 feet) It's 39.5" across and 29 inches tall. Legs unbolt for easier transport. This table came with 4 HP Hansen chairs which match my own. It does not have a label on it and I have not come across it using other resources. If you know the designer or manufacturer. Please let me know. I just had the top refinished professionally. There was a pie shaped pieced of wood that had been used to do a repair before I had this refinished. You can see it in the photos if you look very hard. It's hard to see in general. The dimensions are 48 inches round and the leaf is 23 inches. The rosewood leaf is very heavy and solid and it hides beneath the table when you are not using it. This method/style is called butterfly. I don't think you will see another piece like this. GENERAL Absolutely beautiful set from the early 1960's. Finely detailed. Lovingly cared for, this set includes a solid Walnut table with geometric inlaid wood tabletop, 1 extension leaf, 2 arm chairs, 4 chairs. The wood has aged to a beautiful golden color. The chairs have delicate. Curved legs with a cane back. The wood is in excellent vintage condition- no chips, scratches, breaks, or stains. The chairs were upholstered 15 years ago with 2 traditional style materials, and all are in very good condition. The 2 upholstery patterns complement each other very nicely. A more mid-century modern material would transform this set, showcasing the gorgeous wood and the nice form of the chairs. The furniture is in very good- excellent vintage condition. The inlaid top is beautiful with no significant scratches. Cracks, stains. There is some wear ... moreat the the corners as expected but, with the quality of the wood, it in no way detracts from the beauty of the piece. The legs show wear at the feet but, again, it in no way detracts form the attractiveness of the table. The separate leaf is in excellent condition and as expected, is a different color from the table and is simply hasn't had the same exposure as the table. It is is excellent condition. All 6 chairs are in excellent condition. There are no significant scratches. Cracks, chips are stains in the wood or the cane backs. The upholstery, while not original(approximately 15 years old) is lovely and in very good condition with no rips, areas of wear, stains, or other defects. The 2 captain chairs are upholstered in a dark teak pattern and the 4 arm chairs have a maroon colored upholstery. We are pleased to offer this striking and sleek. Mid Century Modern dining set. The set includes the chrome table and 4 chairs. The table features a double curved, demilune base connected with a small stretcher attachment. The chairs are extremely eye catching and feature mustard yellow vinyl seat and chair backs. The chairs are very sleek and very modern in design. The backs and arm designs curve in a true semi-circle. The seats are circular. There are two different chair bottoms; one pair has a curved bottom and the other pair feature four legs. The four legged pair have swivel seats; the other pair is stationary. They are identical otherwise and did come as a set. The set is in very good condition. It is structurally quite good. There is minor and expected wear to the vinyl in just a couple of small areas with one small split on one chair ... moreback. The chrome does have some age spots. This table is solid. Sturdy, and looks great when assembled. The table is currently disassembled for easier transport. The Tamerlane line is rare and it is even more rare to find the furniture in such great condition. This 8 piece set is f inely detailed and has been lovingly cared for over the years. It includes a solid Pecan wood table with geometric wood inlaid tabletop. 1 extension leaf, 2 arm chairs, 4 side chairs. The wood has aged to a beautiful golden color. The chairs have delicate. Curved legs with a cane back. The wood is in excellent vintage condition- no chips, scratches, breaks, or stains. The chairs were re-upholstered 15 years ago with 2 different patterns and all are in very good condition. The 2 upholstery patterns complement each other very nicely. Mid Century Modern Art Deco Dining Table. Beautiful design. Timeless and exquisite with a lot of detail. The legs are large with a ribbed design going vertically. They meet two diagonal cross bars underneath that are rounded at top. Have horizontal line ribbing and have a scalloped design on the bottom. The table is made of solid wood with a veneer on the top and skirt indicative of the era and style of the furniture during this period. The finish is orangish brown in color. The finish is in good condition throughout the piece. There are very few flaws in the table veneer and all have been repaired in the past so are barely noticeable. See pics for details. There is obviously some wear and imperfections, ie scuffs, scratches and small chips in veneer due to practical use and age. Beautiful and long. Mid Century Danish modern teak expandable dining table made by Heltborg Mobler of Denmark. This is an oval table that measures 74.5" long without the leaves in. It measures 28" tall and just under 48.5" wide at its widest point. With the two leaves in it is almost 9 1/2ft long! Each leaf is 19.5" wide. This is a vintage table. With marks of wear. Please see pictures 4&5 for table top wear. The pedestal base feet ends have a re-glued piece of veneer as seen in picture 7, and a home-made fill in on the other side as seen in picture 10. Up for consideration is a Vintage Mid Century Modern Dining table with 2 leaves. It has factory identification stenciled on the bottom of the table as well as on one of the leaves. The table measures 42 inches wide by 64 inches long without leaves. Each leaf is 18 inches which adds an additional 36 inches to length when extended. This brings the length up 96 inches or 8 foot. The table is very well built with rounded tapered legs which are conjoined by a curving horizontal base. The table is heavy well built and a fine example of quality craftsmanship. After an exhaustive search an exact example could not be found in the historical record. Although similar examples seem to look as if it may have been produced by Brown Saltman Paul Laszlo Design or Robsjohns-Gibbings for Widdicomb. Mid Century Modern Dining Table Teak Retro Vintage 60's Mod Walters of Wabash
For Sale is a beautiful Family Room/Rec Room table by"Walters of Wabash" furniture company. It is built with absolute top quality construction. Very heavy duty and"last forever" materials. It comes with 6 chairs and a leaf, or can be used without the leaf and 4 chairs if needed. The chairs are a nice deep green, feels like thick supple leather, not sure. The chairs are in near perfect condition with a couple very small imperfections in a couple of them. If wanted, I can send close up detailed pics of each one separately. The table is in great shape also, with basically no flaws, the leaf is a very slightly different color, probably due to being stored while the rest of the table was in a sunlit room for years. The green/brown wood pattern on the Formica top is beautiful.
