Included are: sofa/couch, coffee table, console/stereo/tv, chair, ottoman, round end table vanity chair vanity mirror, bed built in bookcases 2 group of books, a photo of Ken, telephone, There are great graphics inside and out. Decorations on the wall etc. The clasps/latches open and close and work fine on it. The handle is intact. Parts of the top& floor of the dreamhouse may be slightly stained/discolored/dusty from being in storage. Other than expected playwear the set is in VERY NICE condition for its age. Mid Century Modern Dresser / Credenza by Ward Furniture
A great mid century modern piece by Ward. This dresser has fantastic mid century lines and features. The solid wood handles are connected to each drawer with small brass fitting which hold the handle away from the in swept design of the lower drawer fronts. Standing on thick pencil legs with a nice accent piece across the bottom front its perfect as either a dresser or credenza. The top is in good condition and the overall piece shows only minor wear for its age and a few small chips to the wood laminate and some finish wear to the handles. Gio Ponti Coffee end table Gordon's Furniture Modern Mid Century vintage marble
Product With Marble top. This Gio Ponti style table stands out and provide an exceptional modernist look to any room. According to someone we contacted, it is likely produced by Gordon's Furniture, Johnson, TN. it has a great deal in common with tables we have seen produced by Domus Nova who did designs by Gio Ponti, so we do not know the designer or manufacturer for certain. One key difference to this tables and similar ones like it(such as the Bertha Schaeffer tables mis-attributed to Singer& Sons) Is that this one IS well made with solid cross-joints that are seen on high quality furniture- they are strong and support as you can see heavy tops plus the loads given to them. Gordon's made exceptional furniture in their own right and I would think it is strongly possible it was made by Gordon's. Produced from correctly constructed ... morewood(assumed light mahogany) this table via brass risers support exceptionally heavy marble tops(could be granite or travertine) That is 3/4" thick and very, very heavy with beveled edges and round cut outs to hold the tops in firm place. Brass caps on on all legs protect them. The table speaks for itself in the style it imparts. The end table is 10" x 24" and 23" high. Condition Marble/ granite excellent. Table has depressions and spots of wear but are very acceptable. no splitting or stress of joints. Shipping We typically use FEDEX for our shipments which guarantees delivery within 2-4 days. Here we have a set of 4. Vintage mid-century furniture legs. They are solid wood with brass feet and measure just under 6" long. They also have a 1" brass band at the base of foot. Includes original brackets and flat head screws. They are in very good condition with light discoloring to the brass. One inch brass bands are loose, but that is an easy fix.
