The marble is gorgeous with an ogee bevel edge. It is shaped to the shape of the solid hand carved rose decorated skirt that has a finial on each corner block. The whole top rests upon four multi turn spindle fancy carved legs with buttons and rosettes that are all joined together in the center with a bowl or finial type top. The white and gray grain marble top is in nice condition that has some slight discoloration that isn’t very noticeable. The table itself is in nice original condition. The overall size is 39 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 30.75 inches high. It has the original castors all intact. The table is tight and sturdy.

There is a very short section of ribbon molding missing that we will try to replace on the skirt. The legs are fancy cutout scroll with carving on the elbows. The cross section has a center finial and X supports. The table base is in the dark reddish brown stain finish. The overall size is 39 inches long, 30 inches deep and 29 inches high. DIMENSIONS: Dimensions taken at furthest points) 51"H x 36W x 20"D ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful antique marble top washstand vanity. With ten gorgeous 3-D Art Nouveau back splash tiles. I do not know the exact age, but I believe the tiles and marble mostly date to around 1880-1910. This washstand comes in two separate pieces; 1)The marble top, wood and tile backsplash; 2) wood cabinet base that is supported by four nicely turned legs on original convenient casters. Naturally this piece has some minor imperfections but overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition; it is strong and sturdy. Not sure of the type of wood. But this spacious cabinet opens with two paneled doors. The doors are beautifully adorned with the original ornate bronze pulls that show a lovely patina. The cabinet finish may not be original. I have owned this for 30 years and never refinished it, I don't know what was done prior. The marble top is one solid beautiful piece. It is ¾" thick with straight edges. The veining color is in shades of browns. Burgundy and creams. It is the original marble top and is among the nicest to be seen. It is very heavy as it sits on top of the cabinet. The backsplash is attached to the marble with screws from underneath. But. The best thing about this is the gorgeous set of original Art Nouveau hand-made, hand-painted glazed tiles. The floral designs are raised and detailed with a 3-D look; these original tiles are in great condition, and the colors as well as the Art Nouveau design, complement the cabinet perfectly. The tiles show light crazing and only one shows a hairline crack. I have not removed any tiles to see if they are marked, but this piece is worth the price

This was near New Orleans. I found it to be a handy and attractive piece of furniture, once in a hallway and later in my guest room. The wash stand might be satinwood but I do not know the wood. It is not a heavy piece. The little shelves are handy for holding a small vase of flowers or other treasures; there is also a towel rod on one side. The one drawer is handy. The drawer does not slide like a modern drawer and there is a slit where wood is missing. I have tried to photograph all. You would need to come see it and pick it up in Charlotte. NC.

Age is not definite, but from what I know and who I know, we believe it was made sometime between the very late 1800s to the very early 1900s, up to 1920. The server I believe is from Europe due to the estate I purchased it from and its woods and marble are extraordinary. The server measures 55 1/4" wide. 21" deep, and 62" high to the top of the mirror. Speaking of the bevelled heavy mirror, which is in excellent condition, the frame has a marvelous bronze decoration in the middle that looks similiar to a cartouche; where one would expect family initials. All the wonderful bronze ormalu decorations are intact and magnificent. The Italian marble is very outstanding as well and in excellent condition. There were two(because I felt them) fleabite and I mean tiny.nicks on the edge. They are not noticable to the eye. Other than that the marble top and two flanked panels of marble are all intact, NO cracks or stain, etc.they are very nice. The three doors all have original locks. The doors are elaboratly carved. Each end having a basket of flowers and the middle looks like a shell of some kind. They were very tastefully executed. Shipping for this piece varies due to distance. Ship fees in Suffolk. We do not have the key and do not know if the locks are functioning. The dresser is on casters and rolls nicely making it easy to move. It has been repaired at some point and I don't believe the front legs are original to the piece which made somewhat hard to put an exact date on. The most of the interior wood surfaces seem to rough as if the it was hand planed. All the joinings on the back are chisel pegged(see photos) The dovetailing looks to be hand done but I could be mistaken(see photos) I would estimate this piece is from early 1800s. I have many more photos of this piece archived if you would like see any more detailing. This piece would be wonderful in a bedroom or in a entryway statement piece. Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers.
