Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This listing is for a beautiful Asian hardwood carved table with marble top. Its age is unknown to us. But it is old. It's very heavy and beautifully carved with tusks up the legs and around the top, and the legs resemble trunks. It isn't flawless and has wear from age and use including a chip at the top of one of the legs as shown in pictures 8, 9, and 11. There are some red stains, perhaps can be removed but we didn't try in order not to compromise the finish on the wood; I noticed them when looking close. The most noticeable spot of red can be seen by zooming in on picture 7. Although it's in good condition, you might want to glue and tighten up some of the seams. It is 17-1/2" in height x 13" across the top x 16" across the legs. It weighs a glorious 19 lbs. It stands 29” high with the marble in place and the ¾” thick marble top measures 15” x 20” Condition: The base top is slightly loose though it isn’t as noticeable when the marble is placed on the base due to the weight of the marble. The finish is original and in very good condition considering age. The wood shows minor signs of age and wear and is in very good condition. There are no chips. Made in England, Circa 1890-1900, Mahogany, Marble top, Tile backsplash, Hand-cut dovetailed drawers, Makers label, Two towel rails, Great condition, Made by a company called Palmer Brothers in Great Yarmouth. England, around 1890-1900, this washstand remains in great condition today. The construction is extremely well done with hand cut dovetails in the drawers. The tiles in the backsplash complement the marble top very well and the mahogany wood contrasts both nicely. The drawers slide in and out easily and have ... moresome nice brass, plate back pulls. Each side of the piece has a nice, thick mahogany towel rail. There is a makers tag inside the cabinet door that reads Palmer Brothers, Great Yarmouth, House Furnishers. This washstand is in excellent condition with only a few light wear marks throughout. Overall this mahogany washstand would make a wonderful addition to any home! This washstand has two drawers and a cabinet for storage. There is a nice. Thick mahogany towel rail on either side of this washstand. The drawers are constructed with hand-cut dovetails. These brass plate back handles adorn the drawers. These backsplash supports help bring the tiled back together with the rest of the piece. The marble top is in great condition. No cracks or repairs. This is a very nice gold pier mirror that is in two sections. The top mirror part hangs on the wall and rests on the mable top base. Combined the piece measures approximatley 108 1/2" tall and 39 1/4" wide. The top mirror frame is 89 1/2" x 37" The mirror is 73 1/2" x 26 1/2" The mable is 39 1/4" x 14 1/2" and the base that it sits on is 38 1/2" wide x 17 3/4" deep. The original brass& ebony teardrop drawer pulls, pin& cove dove-tailing on the drawers and the original beveled edge marble tops. This 19th century dresser measures 83 inches(6 ft 11 inches) in total height from the floor to the very top of the carved crest. A width of 37 inches, and a total depth of 17 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 135 lbs. The height from the floor to the top of the marble at the sides measures 31 1/2 inches, and height from the floor to the marble at the center measures 22 1/2 inches. This is a wonderfully rugged& heartly built super early 19th Century chest that has been well cared for and professionally maintained from the furniture collection a fine Connecticut estate. We attribute it to one of four New York City cabinet making shops circa 1827. The glove boxes have their working locks and keys. Each original lock is hand mortised into the drawers they came on. Being presented for sale is this fabulous 19th century French Empire Mahogany Marble top Dressing Table Vanity with gilt ormolu. The details on this piece are truly beautiful! Brass accents adorn the mirror supports with brass acorn knobs securing the oval mirror to the supports. The original white& grey marble is inserted into the vanity top. A storage drawers below with a gorgeous angel type ormolu key escutcheon. The lock is present in the drawer but we do not have the key. Flanking the drawer are Roman Goddess type faces with plumage ormolu below.just splendid! This piece measures 55 inches to the top of the mirror. 18th Century Irish Gold Gilded Gilt Marble Top Console Carved
This is an Irish 18th century carved wood one-legged marble topped console. As I am neither a dealer nor collector. I guess it best just to describe it's history: It was purchased from Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago by a local premier designer for $760. I purchased it from him for $1030. It was then re-gilded. Filled/leveled in gesso, repaired/reinforced with epoxy, regilded in 22k gold leaf, and then clearcoated in matte acrylic lacquer for $949 in 2002. The underneath of the marble top is signed by the person for whom it was commissioned. The signature is indecipherable. It has been stored indoors since a move in 2005. 37" High 30" Wide(marble top) 16" Deepest part of marble top I will do my best to answer any and all questions.

This is a really nice carved French style sideboard or hall table made by the Thomasville Furniture Co. It has marble inserts and a whitewash oak finish. It measures 62" wide x 18 1/4" deep x 32 1/2" high. There is a small chip on one corner of one of the marble inserts which you can see in the pictures. Otherwise it is in good clean condition. Antique Rosewood Marble Top Server or Console Made in England Circa 1870.
This is a very nice rose wood Server made in England circa 1870 in very good condition. They used to serve drinks off the top as the marble would keep the drinks cool. Its all original to either side of the base there are two candy twist pillars, and inside the base has the original shelf. The mirror doors to the base are a little a little worn with age but look fine. The top comes of the base so it is easy to transport. Measurements are 48 wide. 16 deep, 33 high to the top of the base and the back part with the mirror is an extra 15 inches.

The wood appears to be mahogany and it has a dark finish. There is a beautifully carved crown on the hutch above the server. The hutch has 3 doors all of them have locks and a key. The 2 side doors are paneled with small floral carvings to match the crown. The center door has beveled glass that appears to be original old glass. There are ... moreno breaks. Cracks, chips or scuffs on the glass. There is an adjustable shelf inside the hutch doors. The lower center back of the hutch holds a beveled edge mirror. The mirror is in great condition too with no chips, cracks or breaks. The top of the buffet server is ivory marble and in great shape. There are no chips, cracks or breaks that I can see in the marble. The corners of the marble are rounded and smooth and the top surface is smooth to the touch. The buffet has 3 paneled doors and 2 dovetail drawers all have locks and a key. We have 3 keys to this piece. The keyhole plate is missing from the front of the right side lower door. This piece is very elegant. The corners of the hutch and server are reeded and carved with flowers that match the crown. The front feet are reeded bulb style. We purchased this piece from a couple that bought it in Holland and had it shipped to the US for their home. Description: Being presented for sale is this adorable 19th century child size rosewood with string inlay marble top washstand with bowl and swivel mirror. This piece is so sweet and is made to emulate a full size adult washstand but a charming small size. The round mirror has the remnants of the old paper label and swivels front to back.Towel rails on each side, even a little storage drawer beneath the marble. The stretcher shelf at the base is a place for a small pitcher and the shelf offers beautiful string inlay. This piece is raised up on four ring turned legs that have been skillfully grain painted to look like rosewood which is a fine 19th century craft that is virtually non-existent today. Measurements: This splendid child size washstand measures 39 inches in height.Height from the floor to the marble top is 23 3/4 inches,23 1/2 inches wide and 12 1/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 20 lbs. The original round mirror measures 8 inches across, and the bowl measures 8 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high, the opening in the marble measures 5 1/4 inches across. Condition: The old original mirror does show silver loss and wear. The marble has a seam at the front and the back where the hole is cut out for the bowl I think this may have been made that way. The washbowl is not original to the piece but is an older one and marked as shown in the pictures and is free from chips or cracks. Normal nics and scuffs expected with pieces of this age. For your consideration, this beautiful and very Fancy Large Walnut Victorian Oval Marble Top Center Table(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous Table weighs approximately 95 pounds and measures 30” in height, 35” in width, and 25 ¼” in depth. The elegant details on this piece are fabulous! It appears to be wearing its’ original finish and is adorned with a lovely beveled marble top and brass castors on the feet for ease of movement! The beautiful white oval marble top is beveled and sits upon a powerful large oval solid walnut base that is adorned with fluted banding. This fluted banding is graced with raised horizontal and oval burl panel accents. Lovely pierced scrolled foliate carved aprons are found on three of the four sides.
