Up for auction is this absolutely stunning estate sale find! Vintage Mid Century solid wood table with large marble top. This table is so unique and I believe was originally made in France. Has metal makers tag Calas on the base and I have not been able to find another one like it. Top marble slab is very large 28 1/2" in diameter and in excellent condition! There is wonderful veining in the marble with both gray and some gold and so pretty in person. I am not a wood expert but I believe it is walnut. Wood base is 23" high. It looks like maybe a dogwood or magnolia flower pattern. the upholstery is a satiny brocade or embossed type of material. The set includes the sofa. VINTAGE DUNCAN PHYFE STYLE COFFEE ACCENT TABLE ITALIAN MARBLE TOP CARVED ROSES
We are pleased to offer this beautiful vintage. Duncan Phyfe styled, coffee or accent table. The table features solid, hardwood construction(mahogany or cherry) and an Italian marble top. The table is accented with a rose and leaf"swag" on both the front and back side. The legs are beautifully curved with a large double finial detail in the center of the legs. The table is finished in a reddish brown stain. It is in very good condition with only very minor areas of wear/age. There are no deep scratches or blemishes. It is very sturdy and in very good structural condition. The marble top is gorgeous. It is white with black and gray veins that create beautiful patterns. It has a beveled edge. There is one surface scratch on the marble(see picture 7) It is not very noticeable and may be able to be polished out. This is a beautiful ... moretable. We have 2 matching side tables in a separate listing. The table measures 33.75" wide and 18" tall. It is 21.75" front to back. Our preferred shipping is via Greyhound. They handle packages gently and do not subject them to conveyor belts. Due to the fragility of the marble. We feel that Greyhound is safer. We can ship UPS if you would prefer. But please let us know prior to purchasing as the shipping cost listed is for Greyhound and UPS will be much more expensive.
