I am unsure of the actual age of the table, but it was made by Debow’s Patent Tables, by John Smith. It has spooled legs, that number 10 in all. It is a extra large table, with 5 leaves that are in it in the photos, and another smaller leaf that could also be added. One of the leaves that is in the table as pictured is made of plywood, to replace one that was damaged. The finish on this leaf is done very well, and it is virtually undetectable from the other leaves. The table also comes with felted topper pieces to protect the finish when the table is not in use.

We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of antique nightstands or side tables. This pair dates to around 1940. They are made of mahogany and have been painted white and distressed. The pair are elegant and sleek with a low profile. They feature a two tier design with open backs. They have elongated lower sections with curved fronts. There have decorative square. Raised wood pieces on the skirt of the lower tier. These have been left in the original finish to contrast with the paint. The legs are lovely in Duncan Phyfe style. The center leg column has also been left in the original finish. The table has ornate brass touches as well. There are lion face"door knocker" style pulls on each side between the two tiers. The feet are brass with a claw foot design. The tables are very nice. They are very sturdy. There are no manufacturer's ... moremarks. The pair measure 25.75" tall and 16" wide. The top tier sections are 12" deep(front to back) and the lower tiers are 26" front to back. The legs are 23.25" front to back and 14" wide. For your consideration is this wonderful marquetry inlaid parlor table Ca: 1880's attributed to RJ Horner. It measures aprox. 29" tall and the top is aprox. 32" in diameter. This was my personal table for many years; but unfortunately due to downsizing. I decided to sell it. Having been an Antique furniture dealer for 25 years, I've had quite a few RJ Horner marquetry pieces. Many of them had your usual baskets, or urns with florals, surrounded by different scroll or flower patterns. I kept this table because it was different from the others, I liked the shape of it's top) and it was rare to find the winged Cherubs, and large Birds on the table(See the quality and detail, of the marquetry work) The mahogany on this table is very fine; it's finish makes it glow, and accents the wonderful colors in the Inlays. English George III Chippendale Mahogany Tilting Antique Side Table c. 1760-90
English Chippendale Mahogany Tilt Top Side Table over Snake Feet Late 18th Century Item# 110005GFF25 This is an English Chippendale Mahogany Tilting Tea Table. Of the period c. 1760-90. Of remarkable weight, it features a single solid board top, hand planed carefully to create a perfect smooth surface. A thick varnish finish covers the entire piece, glowing on the top, with craquelure throughout the varnish along the pedestal and legs. The original hand carved cleats affix the top to the pedestal with a mix of a few remaining original hand crafted screws among later added screws. A brass catch on the underside of the table top still functions fully to secure the table in a resting postion, this appearing to be a period addition improving over the old catch system- originally a dowel likely joined through the left cleat into a hole in the ... morepedestal head to lock the table top in place. The pedestal tenons through the square base. Solidly locking these two critical components permanently[not the numerous repairs to the square head of the pedestal; this appears to be the original plank with later repairs to help secure it] The pedestal is carefully turned shaft ending in a carved spiral urn, then locking into the legs with tight dovetail joints. Cabriole legs curve down and terminate in simple oval slipper feet. A piece that has seen some life. This is a fine well crafted period tea table. From a conservation standpoint, it would be beneficial to have the current finish removed chemically and a shellac reapplied. It is a fine piece for anyone with a home of colonial or Chippendale design, a sturdy work that is fully capable of regular use in the home. Measurements: Top measures 30 3/4" wide x 30 1/8" wide(across grains) 44 7/8" high in tilted position. 27 1/2" high in down position; 26 1/2" distance between each toe Condition Report: Refinished. This is a finely made piece with a dovetailed constructed body and a swing out rear leg that supports the game table lid when opened. This table is branded"CEM" or"CFM" on its back frame board. Each of the leg blocks in the tables figured mahogany apron is inlaid with three satinwood panels. We are offering this table before it receives some minor attention from our woodworker. A few small pieces of string inlaid have come out along with tiny 2" pieces of cock bead moldings that are over the front two legs. These are extremely minor issues but we wanted to point this out to you consistant with our full ... moredisclosure policy. This game table will be going to the woodworkers shop tomorrow along with a rush job on a sold piece. Aside from this the table has a small stabilized seasoning crack on its top lid. Again. Up for auction is a Henredon Natchez Mahogany and Brass Campaign Style Butler Table produced in 1994. This piece is in excellent condition and was well cared for. It was stored in a smoke-free home and not in a damp environment of any type. The only issue is that there are two minor water stains on the surface. Barely noticeable.you can see the worse of the two in the photos. These will buff or even sand out should you want to refinish the surface. However. They are so minor that the piece is fine as is and ready for use in your home. All labels are intact on the underside. I will ship international. ANTIQUE FLAT-TOP DESK OR LIBRARY TABLE -SOLID DARK MAHOGANY - NO VENEERS
Possibly Edwardian era desk or library table is in excellent condition. I have owned it since 1980 and have not altered the finish. Although it may have been refinished prior to my ownership. This desk is very sturdy. The dimensions are 40" long X 25 1/4" deep X 28 1/4" high. Nice chunky brass hardware is complete and original. This desk is constructed of solid wood.no veneers.which I think is flame mahogany. The dovetailed drawers are constucted of what appears to be bird's eye maple bottoms(which is a very high quality wood to be used on drawer interiors) and oak sides. There is one center drawer and two deeper. More narrow drawers on the right side. Drawers all work smoothly. There is a platform at the lower level of the desk. The four feet are carved animal-type. On each side is a scroll sort of carving. The top is ... morein nice condition but I have not shown it in the photos because my TV sits atop it and I cannot lift it off. If you need to see a photo of the top. I will see what I can do. This desk must be picked up on location either by the buyer or the buyer's shipping agent. It is located in gorgeous Graeagle/Clio.
