The table is 72 inches long, 44 inches deep in the center when closed up, it opens to 108 inches long with the three 12 inch wide leaves are inserted. The top has surface scratches, nicks, and dings in it. We would recommend the tabletop being refinished to move the scratches, nicks, and dings from normal wear. This is a very nice antique Victorian pedestal style dining table base. You could also use them as 2 separate console bases. It is solid mahogany and has a fluted pedestal, it is stamped with the number 100 on the bottom. It originally had a 50" top, it measures 25" high, it is designed to have castors which would add some height, measuring across the center of any two legs it is 26 1/2" and the top brackets are 14 1/2" wide x 12" deep, the legs are 2 3/4" wide. Some of the hardware on the top is missing as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, some scuffs, nicks and dings to the legs which you can see, no splits or cracks to the pedestal or feet and no repairs. Should be refinished. It has a leaf but it has been messed up by a do it yourselfer. Not sure it can be fixed. An experienced wood worker would need to do it. It consists of a table, that pulls out to extend on either end, 8 chairs(6 side, 2 captains) and full custom made padded table covers, buffet, the buffet has a lot of nice detail on the side door, the back of the buffet and drawers. There is a stretcher structure that has William& Mary feet. There ar no chips or problems with the wood. The leaves to extend on either end drop down and pull out, there are normal wear on these leaves as they slid back in under the table ends. This came from an estate of a well known Benicia family, Benicia was the original capitol of California. This is in original condition, I have left it in it's original patina. I have had this for 45 years. The side board/buuffet measures: 67" long, 38 1/4 High, 20" deep. It dates to the mid-1900's and it is American. The rear surface. Including the legs, is perfectly flat to fit tightly against a wall when used as a console table. The legs are strong and tight and the table is not wobbly at all. The sliding mechanism that allows it to be opened into a table is sturdy and works smoothly. To use it as a petite table, the legs are slid out part way and then the top, which is double thickness when closed, simply unfolds. The table can then be pulled out longer. However, there are no leaves with it. for auction is one of the finest empire mahogany dining tables i have owned in this price range. i have had horner and others that were in excess of 10-14.000, but none any better built or better quality. this is a great 54 inch split pedestal table with a great turned center leg suppot. it has three 14 inch leaves which have the same grain, color, and patina as the top. leaves installed makes this an eight foot table. if the leaf runner stops were removed, i expect it would open to 12 feet. the table is presented in original finish, there is some crazing to the finish but i would never refinish it. the table is solid mahogany with no veneers, has great grain and a fantastic pedestal which is heavily carved and contoured. the feet are massive claw feet which are carved all the way up the knee to the pedestal. i sold this table to a fella ... moremaybe 3 or 4 years ago and he needed some money, so i have him his money back. with shipping charges i have almost as much in the table as i am starting it for. i am taking it apart to put in storage as i have no room in my house for it. i have like 3o pictures so if you want to see anything else hopefully i have a picture of it, if not i can get one. the table may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. good luck. i just spent several hours cleaning the dirt and grim out of the carvings etc. i used new life and liquid gold, so if it looks a bit shinny here and there i probably didn't get all the cleaner wiped away. any spots or usual looking objects in any of the pictures if from a dirty camera. i can't seem to get some of the junk off the lens.

It was made by the Drexel Furniture Company back in the early 1940s. We've refinished the top to remove nicks and dings and to make sure the leaves match the rest of the table so you can easily leave them exposed. The table comes with three leaves; two are regular leaves and one is skirted. It's in a dark reddish-brown finish and we do have the matching chairs and a sideboard that we're offering.
