Excellent midcentury Lane coffee table fold up surfboard vintage danish modern
With sides down it measures about 44x23" and with the side leaves up it becomes more of a surfboard shape and 5 feet long. This is a really nice table in excellent condition. You will need to pick this up in Platteville WI or make arrangements with a shipper. I can hold it for 2 weeks after the sale. Mid Century Danish Modern LANE Geometric Inset Tiles 70" Cocktail Coffee Table
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1959 LANE Altavista.VA 70" long surf board style cocktail/ coffee table, with inset geometric tiles. I am not sure if this is from the acclaim series but the style no. is 0165 and the serial no. 955018- which dates the manufacture date to August 15, 1959. THIS IS THE LAST TIME THAT THIS TABLE WILL BE OFFERED- it is the only one with the inset tiles of this sort that I have seen on ebay in several years. So if you like it buy it. Its that simple. This style is probably the most desirable of any of the Lane Coffee Tables and is one of the longest as well-hence the only shipping option of Freight. Most Lane Coffee tables are approx 55" long- this one is 70" Not to mention the fantastic inset tile design which is rarely seen. This is a great looking table.Long and stylish. It measures ... moreapprox 70" long, 18" across, and 15" tall and weighs approx 39 lbs as you see it. The tiles are in superb condition- no damages of any kind. The wood has some light wear. Light scuffs and some wear to the finish. The legs look like they may unscrew but I tried to turn them off and they do not budge, so I am going to leave it just as you see it. There are a couple of small chips to the veneer- the largest can be noticed in my last couple pics. The finish is original and still in good shape. Some normal light wear. One legs has a fairly minor scuff. If you look close along the horizontal edge pieces and the main body of the table, there is a grooved area- in a few spots along this line are some brown colored marks. I believe that this is something from manufacture. The table is very sturdy- has some minor imperfections but considering its age- its in real nice shape. Very cool Mid Century Modern Lane round coffee table and end table set. Danish inspired base and legs on each table give this set a very sleek look. The end table has the signature woven face on the drawer. With the two tone stain on the wood on both tables. Both tables structurally very solid. Set is nearly mint. There are two very light water marks on the top of the round table. The marks are nearly unnoticeable when the glass top is on. Slight refinishing has been done to both tables back to original condition. Glass top comes with round table. I don't know the type, sorry closed the table measures 5ft long x 26" wide and is 16.5" tall the table expands to 80" the wood on the top of the table is 1" thick there are 2 legs and they are rectangle shaped measuring 23" long x 7" thick the legs of the table have factory grooves on them. Visible in photos the table could use a good wood cleaning. And there are minimal marks to the legs, see photos of each leg the table is really heavy. I had it moved in here with movers free local pickup- I live in the 76301 Wichita Falls Texas area and you can pick it up here you can choose to hire someone from Uship or another source. Adrian Pearsall For Lane X Base Round Glass Top Coffee Table Mid Century Modern
This is a beautiful MCM coffee table by Lane. It is an Adrian Pearsall design that was produced by Lane Furniture. Although pearsall didn't work for lane furniture directly. Lane bought his company, craft, and with it they purchased his copyrights, designs, etc. so lane became the exclusive furniture maker to produce pearsall designs. The wood frame is round with glass inset and criss cross legs. I believe the wood is either ash or oak. The color is very similar to Heywood Wakefild furniture. It measures 41" in diameter and 15" tall The legs have a slightly darker color on the very bottoms but no other damage. So I do not believe that it is water damage. Lane Furniture produced the Acclaim Series of furniture during the Mid 20th Century. This piece is the end table, model 900-05. The table has been well kept and shows very little wear, there is a flaw in the wood on the top of the table, it appears as though it came from the factory that way. As you can see in the picture it is only on the top piece of wood and where the piece come together the other piece of wood shows no wear. It is like the finish is worn in that area, anyways the table is still very nice, sturdy and otherwise is super clean and in great condition. Brass and Glass LaBarge Coffee Table as seen on One Kings Lane
This is a traditional oval glass top coffee table with a brass base. The glass is beveled with an ogee edge and measures 49.5" x 28. I am not the original owner of this table. I purchased it at an estate sale. I found the same exact table on the One Kings Lane website. Which indicated that it was made by LaBarge. But, I cannot find any markings on the table base indicating LaBarge or any other manufacturer. There is a scratch on the surface about four inches long. But it would not show up in the photos. I have listed the table as pick up only, so potential buyers are welcome to inspect the table before making a final purchase decision. I am selling because I have downsized.

Virgina produced this line throughout the 1950's- 1960's. I was going to use this beautiful table in my house so I had the top refinished. Prior to me having this top refinished it only had a few light surface scratches but it would have bothered me not being perfect. Lane Coffee Table "The America Collection" -Museum of American Folk Art
I acquired this Lane coffee table awhile back from the second owner who did not take very good care it. I actually didn't know a lot about the company so I decided to do some research and decided this beautiful table deserved to be brought back to life. On the bottom is its original stamp stating: The America Collection Museum of American Folk-Art ADAPTATION BY Lane Serial no. 2192230 Style no. blank) From my research I believe that you read the serial number backwards so the production of this table would be March 22. 1991. This has not been verified though thats just my understanding from the research I did on the table. This collection was made from solid Pine. So I sanded the entire table down, everything but the top was done by hand because of the detailing and then stained a red oak. The stain may dry a little more and lighten up ... morea little bit. I will update the pics in a couple days to reflect the change. There were some larger dings that could only be smoothed out on one of the corners and one of the legs which are shown in the pictures. Here's your chance at a very rare find. Lane Acclain series dated 1962 swivel two level or bi-level boomerang swivel coffee table needing minor TLC and priced appropriately, very hard to find these. Measures approx. 50"x20"x14 1/2" on top and bottom 40"x19"x11 1/2" Missing one dowel support underneath that goes between the legs on one side, simple to make just copy off the other one, nothing more than a tapered dowel or peg. Normal nicks, scratches and finish shows normal wear typical of a 52 year old table in original unrestored condition. Did put a coat of Old English on it and I personally would just make a dowel and use it this waystill shines well, like the original look myself. Great vintage and rare Lane table with tile great modernism piece with style for that special room. This piece piece was made January 10TH 1959. These tables were special runs and and in limited production. The tile area is for hot plate area for serving warm food and the table underneath swivels out to be full length or L shape or anywhere in between. The tiles are geometric retro shapes and in very good condition. No burn or deep scratches just normal light use.
