The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. 4 Antique Huge Matching Bassick Cast Iron Industrial Caster Cart Table Wheels
This is a nice set of 4 antique heavy duty caster wheels. They have a very heavy metal mounting bracket and the wheels a re solid cast iron. They are huge. They are in good condition. They swivel and roll smooth. The wheel itself is approx. 4 inches by 1 1/2 inches. They measure approx. 5 inches tall. The mounting piece measures approx. 5 inches by 4 inches. Each caster wheel weighs approx. 4 pounds. They are marked Bassick. The swivel part has ball bearings. The wheel has a hole for oiling. These have not been cleaned. But can be easi ly cleaned by soaking in degreaser. This is a very nice heavy duty set of wheel casters. Guaranteed to be old and original. Satisfaction guaranteed. Shipping is $1 1.30. This table is in vintage condition and has been in the same spot in storage in a garage for 40 plus years. It has some loose and broken wicker spots. Rust to the metal and the legs were crudely molded at the bottom. The previous owner believes it to be Herman Miller but there is not an original tag to authenticate that. Vtg 40's Cast Iron Industrial MCM Medical Operating Chair Tattoo Table
This is a gorgeous and very rare cast iron mechanical articulating chair/table of extremely high quality and exciting design. I do not know the exact purpose or age but I would guess 1940's. It has been restored and is in amazing clean condition with minimal wear with no rips. Tears, damage or cracks. It is complete with adjustable headrest, arms and hydraulic base. There are two brackets on both sides near the knee hinge where a round post could be inserted but I do not have that part or know what is was. It has a hydraulic swivel base that is white enamel and appears to function but I do not have the proper fluids and was not able to fully test it. The plunger mechanism inside does work and it swivels but it is being sold without the hydraulics being fully tested(shown resting on a piece of brown cardboard) It articulates into hundreds ... moreof positions and lays flat as well. The adjustments are slides so it can be adjusted to virtually any position. The total length of the chair when reclined is approximately 64" not including the headrest extension and approximately 19" wide at the removable arm rests. The cost of freight/blanket wrap delivery shipping will be $75 to $400 for most of the northeast and mid Atlantic states. Pick up is also available in the 01106 zip code area. FOR SALE: antique Singer sewing machine treadle cast iron base frame. Dated to 1905(from serial number of machine that was mounted on it) which has been in our family for over 80 years. The base is in good condition. With some dust, minor oxidation on treadle and other normal wear and tear consistent with its age and use. There are no breaks or repairs. Pedal and wheel work, as do roller feet. Please see pictures for condition. This base is from my Grandmother's sewing machine that she used when she worked in a Chicago sweat shop in the 1920s-30s. She bought the machine from her employer when she left that job in the 1930s. Widdicomb* More large detailed pictures below description* Exceptional early American cast iron& steel embalming/ medical table on base by The Embalmers Supply Company of Westport Connecticut. 1903. According to company history. This was first US made embalming table. A special item that can be viewed in several lights- an early American historical medical piece, an exceptional cast iron industrial piece(base will come off) or an early impressive industrial objet d'art/ design piece. Pictures were taken upside down and rotated due to the fact that I can move it while it's on this cart. Wonderful piece of industrial and medical history and impressive design piece for the adventurous and unique. Table top measures 22.5" wide. 75" long. Height of table is adjustable from 29" tall to ~38" total. The rolling base ... moreis larger than it may appear in pictures, measuring 32" from wheel to wheel. A guesstimate on weight is 250-300 lbs total. Wheel base will come off. Table's tripod rolling base will slide off thick threaded stem. Entire base will separate from top with loosening of 4 bolts from underside. Mechanics all work smoothly. Adjustment mechanisms work well- table will tilt long way by rotating the long handle. Which uses a pressure plate mechanism to lock in place. Table height can also be adjusted using the large wheel, which is threaded and will"climb the post" sliding the center post up or down with it relative to wheel base. This can be further secured by turning smaller"ship's wheel" mechanism which has a bolt which applies pressure to center stem with threaded rod. I would judge condition to be very good. The lower cast iron parts all work well without struggle. There are no flaws of note. No breaks or cracks to base. Table top is thick clad steel/iron as well with a lip and small[drainage] hole at one end inside top. There is a pin at one end and a small hook type application to other. It has a 3-way light bulb socket as well. The lower shelf is 9" above the floor. The top shelf is 21" above the floor. Each shelf measures 14 x 16 inches. Cast Iron Sewing Machine Base STANDARD coffee table steam punk vintage antique
These cast iron Standard brand sewing machine base pieces are 18 inches tall. Just the right height for a vintage style coffee table. They measure ten inches wide at the top and 16 inches wide at the bottom. There are two holes on each side that are spaced 2 7/8 inches apart that would allow for some easy wooden bracing under the table. The outside of the holes is made for countersunk screws. The wheels are rusted stiff but could probably be loosened if you want them to roll. Of course you could also restore an old sewing machine if you have the other parts necessary. There is a picture to show how the back side is smooth which would also allow for easy braces to be installed unlike some sewing machine bases. They are clearly marked with the manufacturer's mark on the legs and on the badge plate. The paint appears to be original, but is starting to show a bit of corrosion. This is an early Art Nouveau style with the distinctive art work of the cast iron Pedestal Legs. The top of the table is Oak. There a few"imperfect areas" from years of use. These table were found in Saloons. Casinos, and even some restaurants. They were used for everything from hard drinking, conversations, eating, gambling, etc. This particular table came out of a residential home kitchen and was being used everyday. The wood does have a good finish. Some of the screws holding the table to the base, have been replaced, over the years. The table is 41 inches in diameter. It stands 29-1/2 inches in height. Vintage Wrought Iron Table & 4 Chairs Patio / Garden Set with Original Glass Top
Here up auction is a real deal vintage wrought iron patio or garden set. The table has the original glass top and measures at 3 foot by 5 foot. The matching chairs are the original 4 that came with the set. They have been painted several times over the last 50 years or so and are flaking like most vintage iron set today. They could be striped and repainted and with new cushions could be the very centerpiece of the backyard sitting area. Still super strong and will last for years like they have so far. These older style wrought iron sets have been around for years and the reason is they were made to last. The beauty is in the craftsmanship the metal workers put into it and it sure shows in this set. Not to busy but has the vines and leafs that made them stand out.
