The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. I have used the handle to turn the wheels some- moves easily but if it were mine. I would oil it. All in all, in my opinion this item looks great, has all its parts seems to be in working order and is very clean. As a side note this item would fit in a large flat rate priority box for shipping. Gonna list 2 similar Griswold mini kettles today. Win both and save big on combined shipping! So up 2nd is this vintage cast iron Griswold#0 Table Service Dutch Oven. It is made in Erie. PA and also has the number 109 on the bottom. The letter"B" is marked on the underside of the lid. The kettle without the lid measures about 1 7/8" high and is about 4 1/4" in diameter across the top not including that thumb/lip thing and with that it is about 4 5/8" long across the top. The kettle is in very nice shape with only light wear and I have not cleaned it so it will shine up a bit more if you choose too do so. I see no damage, no chips and no cracks. I do see one area of light oxidation on the edge of the lid as seen in the last picture and some light oxidation on the inside of the bottom. Also, the wire handle has a few'dings' ... morein it and some oxidation. The lid has what I think is a black bakelite knob. I suggest it might be bakelite since when I do the'finger rub test' on the knob it smells like crap which is just what you would expect from bakelite. One interesting thing to point out is that compared to the other kettle I just listed the quality of the casting on this one is not as good. Unusual Antique Caramel Slag Glass Arts & Crafts Table Lamp Cast Iron 4 Pane
For sale is an unusual antique slag glass panel table lamp. Has a Arts& Crafts or Mission Style Design. Has a hammered bronze appearance but base and shade are entirely cast iron. The only marks I can find are AZ96 on the inside edge of the shade in four places(panels have to be removed to see it) see last picture. Two of the caramel slag glass panels have damage. One has a crack going straight up the center of the panel that goes for about 75% of total length(pic 5) The other has a small crack on right edge near the bottom(pic 6) The panel with the long crack is not in the lamp in pictures. I will remove all of the panels for safe shipment(they are held by metal tabs) Lamp works. Cord is an older cloth one that has some frayed outer casing, I would recommend replacing but is safe to use/plug in. This is an antique cast metal table lamp for parts or restor ation. The only markings I can find are on the base as shown in the last pic. The lamp has a pretty art nouveau design with scrolling on the base and harp. There are no c racks or breaks to the base. The lamp is 16" tall to the top of the socket. It is 21" to the top of the harp.The base of the lamp measures 7" across. The entire lamp has been painted white. There is a brass color that shows thru in the chipped areas. This is a vintage or antique iron goose neck desk or table lamp. I'm not sure i f it should be described as industrial or deco but it is a very nice example o f it's era. The design on the iron base is exceptionally nice and we ll defined. On the bottom is says. S.W. Farber I nc. Brooklyn N.Y. Pat. Appld. It has a bronzish finish that I believe is original or quite old. Please see pics for best description. It works and is in nice antique condition. It does have a little rust. Antique Cast Iron Industrial Adjustable Swing Arm Stool (wall or table mount)
I will start by saying that I aquired(2) of these industrial stool sometime back at a local sale that was selling some items that had be salvage from some old industrial plant. This auction is for one of these stools and the other is listed in a seperate auction. This is a large cast iron swing arm stool with what looks like a maple seat. This stool would have mounted either on the wall. A large table leg, or on a large piece of industrial equipement. It has a screw up adjustable seat and a swivel bracket on the swing arm so it could be positioned in several positions. The seat is 11" in diameter and 1 1/2" thick. The adjustable height of the seat is that it could be adjusted up to a height of at least(6) inches. The swing arm and wall or table mount bracket combined are(14) inches long. There is no damage to this item. It has a ... morefew specks of white paint on it and there is some minor rust specks here and there. The only thing I have done to this stool is clean the dust off and put a little wood cleaner on the seat to clean it up. Nice old hard to find industrial age swing arm stool that has a lot of uses. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.
