Measures 31 1/2" square and 28" high. Few little scratches on the top and a little bit of scratches on the base where your foot might rest. Will be taken apart for shipping. Awesome vintage 1970's era table lamp. Stands about 7& 1/2 inches tall. The ball is made of either lucite or acrylic. The ball itself is about 4 inches wide. It's a solid ball(not hollow or with any liquids inside) With a cluster of bubbles suspended inside the solid ball; they do not move) The ball screws into a metal chrome base. Inside the base. Are 3 different colored C-7 size blinker bulbs, which blink on/off randomly, illuminating the ball in flashes of different colors. The brown cord has a on/off thumb switch. Lamp has the normal expected scuffs/blemishes here and there. There is one very small surface nick on one side of the ball. Not very noticeable. You can still get the blinking colored bulbs here on Ebay by doing a search for C-7 blinking(or flashing) bulbs. Mid century modern oak dining/conference table and chairs Danish/Eames
This is an unusual set of chairs and table that could be used as a conference table and chairs or a dining room set. The workmanship is outstanding; there is no maker's mark or company label- only what appears to be a customer's name(Borgia? written in pencil on one of the chairs. The table measures 39" wide x 60" long- 80" with leaf. It is a refractory type table which says dining to me- meaning the leaf pops up from the middle when the sides are spread open. On the other hand. All the chairs have a metal inset on the edges of the back and arms(see photo) that says conference set to me. My best guess is that it was custom made. Notice the way the back has a circular shaped inset to form the curve- a much sturdier design then other curved backs that I have seen. The upright arms give it a modern look. I also cannot ... moretell you it's country of origin- no makers mark or tell tale design. Age unknown too! Sorry I have so little info. I had a mid century modern expert look at it and he too was baffled. Probably Danish. It has some age to it. Whatever kind of set it is, it would make a handsome addition to a home or office. This auction is for one set of four iron hairpin legs for a midcentury modern Eames era coffee table. Good vintage condition for an estate find(rescued from a basement garage) One of them is a bit bent at the top end but not really bent-just the leg is coming out of the cross piece. But when it is screwed into a table top that will force the leg back into its slot. I can do it with my hand but it doesn't hold in place it pops back out. Otherwise no issues to note. Vintage hairpin legs 12" set 4 table chair Eames metal midcentury modern atomic
Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair. M ost probably manufactured i n the 1950s or 1960s, This nice lamp is made of a black metal base with a brass flower pot. The lamp comes with a superb Atomic fiberglass shade. Check out my other auctions for the matching lamp! The lamp's measurements are: about 28 inches in height with the shade& finial and about 21 1/2 inches in height at the top of the socket. The black metal base is 6 inches in diameter. The fiberglass shad e's measurements are: about 9 1/4 inches in height, 15 inches diameter at the top and 17 inches diameter at the bottom. During the war they were commissioned by the Navy to produce molded plywood splints. Stretchers and experimental glider shells. With no cracks or burn marks, however there is one minor dimple to the plastic(pictured) from heat where someone at one point used too large of a bulb. There are no dents to the top metal hood, stem pivot holds it securely in all positions. Original three way switch operates perfectly, turns one bulb on, then the other, then both providing mood lighting options. Some light surface scratches to the formica top, but you have to look really close to see them. They are nothing that takes away from the appearance. Rare Mid-Century Classic Eames Molded Plywood & Laminate Table, circa 1950's
This is a classic Eames molded plywood and laminate table from the 1950’s. It measures 26” x 15” x 22 ½” tall. I consider this table in excellent used condition. It is not new or a reproduction. There are signs of usage. But very minor, please take note of the condition from the pictures. There are no cracks or breaks(just a small sliver type chip of the laminate on the short bottom edge about 1/2" x 1/4" but not noticeable because it does not go all the way through the laminate, so it is still black) the top is beautiful; you can see how the polar bear glass figurine reflects off the top. It is in original condition. No alterations. It is a classic piece of art history from the mid-century. The design is simple and would mix well with about any décor you may have.
