Vintage Mid Century furniture Drop Leaf buffet server wheels Pittsburgh This has a flatware drawer. A shelf and a small cabinet with a door. It has 2 drop-down leafs. With the leafs down it measures 38" x 18" and is 29"H. With both leafs extended it is 78"L. There are issues with the finish. With water marks.Some spots, scratches Down one leaf there are 2 long drip marks. The door for the cabinet needs a new handle. The handles for the drawer are original. There are spots of rust on the metal castors. I am sure they could be cleaned. It rolls just fine. I originally bought this to redo it. But now I don't have the time. This is usable just as it is. You could just give it a good rub down with Howards Restore-A-Finish. Or redo the entire thing. This is for PICK-UP ONLY. I am in Pittsburgh. PA in the 15212 zip code.

C. 1750-70 Primary Woods: Cherry Secondary Woods: Yellow Pine Item# 100005WPP31 This is a remarkably well preserved original Queen Anne drop leaf dining table with gating legs over pad feet. It features solid tight grained entirely solid single planks of cherry making up the leaves and top. Each with warm patina and character brought to the forefront in a dry lightly glossy and rather early finish. Notwithstanding the significant cracks in the top and the slight warp to one leaf, the table is almost entirely original. These surfaces were repaired at one point, probably in the first quarter of the 20th century, an attempt to heal the shrink cracks along the grains of the very broad boards. To bring the best ... moreout of the table, these should eventually have the putty removed from the cracks and be repaired again properly; however, the boards are gorgeous and are full of glow even without being repaired. The leaves hang on fully original hand crafted and forged iron hinges. Each still in place and undisturbed, heavily oxidized with original hand forged screws. The frame is a fully dovetailed pine secondary structure with wonderful oxidization throughout. The gating legs join the frame with original hand forged iron hinges that uniquely swing the legs in a smooth motion- this is a rather rare feature, as legs typically would swing on a pine hinge with a wooden or iron dowel joint. The legs terminate in bold and well carved pad feet, each with excellent form. With wonderful proportions being only 40 1/4" long. This is the perfect length for a hall table in rested form with a chair on either side. In remarkably well preserved condition, the legs mostly free of repairs, an early finish and entirely original hardware, this is an excellent find for any serious collector of works from the Queen Anne period. I wouldn't know how to identify if it was an original Duncan table so from my research I shall say in the"style of" I believe it was refinished tho not by me.It is exactly as I bought it back in the day. I was told the chairs were Tell City tho I see nothing that says they are. I bought them because I loved the carved roses. I did recover the seats with Ralph Lauren fabric but did not remove the material that was on there when I bought them. Whether that was original fabric I do not know. Description: This listing is for an 18th Century American Chippendale Carved Ball and Claw Foot Drop Leaf Table. Pennsylvania, almost certainly from Philadelphia, circa 1770-90. Each board on this stunning table is fully solid single planks of Mahogany, each carefully selected for the best possible grains. They are hand planed to leave a flawless top surface, with an unfinished and uneven planed underside. The leaves hang from the table with hand crafted original hinges, uncommon with the pressure usually on these hinges, but a statement to the quality of craftsmanship in the piece. One hinge is a possible replacement. Still a period hand forged hinge, but of different dimension from the other three) The hinges are reinforced ... moreto allow originality and functionality at the same time. The top sits gracefully over its original frame. The frame has a most graceful form. With a flowing carved apron floating the front and back. The practical hand craftsmanship is obvious, where the cabinetmaker carved and finished the front of each apron, but left the back unfinished with evidence of chisel and knife throughout. Each corner is formed with a pegged tenon-mortise joint, while the frame- of primarily pine secondary woods- joins with dovetailed construction for a permanent build. The underside of the table is locked on to the top with original glued blocks. The frame sits over four cabriole legs, rolling with ease into the tendons and muscles tensed in grip. It has some of the most beautiful Philadelphia ball and claw carvings, with full details of the talons, stretched skin and sharpness of the grasping nails reaching around each perfectly formed ball. Small knicks and marks from the knife are still apparent where they carefully carved each foot. The piece boasts the most magnificent patina and depth of finish. There are 8 legs: two on each end are gate legs and swing towards the middle of the table to support the two drop leaves when extended. The table can be used with no leaves. Two leaves or drop leaves extended. Measurements of the leaves are 12" wide x 45" long. The two sections that always remain in the table are 13-5/8" wide x 45" long. The drop leaves are 23" long and 45" wide at their widest. The 8 legs are 29-1/4" high. The table has the Conant Ball Furniture Makers mark and the numbers 2021. 1869. This table was carefully restored, when we did our best trying to preserve it’s original patina and time marks on the top are clearly seen. Because it is solid wood it was much easier to remove them and make this table like new. But we are museum quality restorers, not refinishers. Table is jointed with wooden pegs; uneven. Hand cut dovetails on the drawer and the way how it was constructed, along with early, rusted through nails makes us believe that it is a very old item, dating back to early 19th- late 18th century, but due to the provincial nature of this piece of furniture it just cannot be identified for sure and an exact date of its creation is unknown. It is a quality made item, well build and precisely fit, only three solid pieces of lumber were able to make it 42“ wide, which means that it’s wood came from about 300 years old tree; you will not able to find lumber this wide in stores anymore– all old trees are under protection of the French government now, hence they were almost all gone in 18-19 centuries, when France was producing only solid wood furniture. This auction offers you the opportunity to bid on a lovely antique mahogany drop leaf dining table made by Imperial Furniture in Grand Rapids Michigan around the 1930's 1940's. This is an exceptionally well made table that is very sturdy and of high quality. It has a unique swoop base in that it consists of 2 swoop leg ends and a center 4 leg pedestal base to support it when fully extended. It has been very well kept. Loved and is in great original condition. The wood guide mechanism has metal gears to make for ease in opening and durability. It has the original finish on the wood. The only thing that is not original is that the previous original owner upgraded the leaf support brackets with heavy duty double brackets ... moreon each drop leaf to insure the leaves bear weight properly when up, as sometime the single brackets leave room for movement. Primitive Doll Drop Leaf Table - Rare - Salesman Sample
This auction is for what I believe is a Salesman Sample drop leaf table. I have never seen a piece like this before. Measures 8 3/4" tall. 13 1/2" wide, and 14 1/2" with both sides up. This table does not have the original hinges and is missing a table anchor for one side(that keeps the leaf up) The other side is complete. Solid wood- not sure what kind. Very neat collector piece!

This auction is for an older petite and neat Double Drop Leaf Table made out od solid mahogany from England. This is the smallest Mahogany Double Drop Leaf Table that I have ever seen. It's just a very small& petite"tea table" that made it's way out of England. It's small. Super cute and has been around for a long, long time. Most of this type and size of table was used at"tea time" in England. They would be set up for"tes& crumpets" then taken down and set aside until needed again. because of it's small& petite size, it could go in any room of your home. It could be used as an end table, side table or window table. It's a neat item that would add interest& charm to any room in your home. It has a dark reddish mahogany patina to it. Nice Vintage 40-50's Duncan Phyfe Style Drop Leaf Table with One Leaf. This table has a Maple finish which is a little rare as these tables are usually stained Mahogany. Top is in good useable shape but does have typical use. Some minor scratches, chips, marks etc. as to be expected with an original finished table of this age(it's really in very good shape for it's age) It would be easy to refinish the top if you want it perfect or cheap if you use a restorer!
