Solid Oak 95" Oblong Dining table set 6 chairs & 2 leaves
This is a rather large dining table which requires a large dining room. The table is 43" wide& could either go 95" long with the two leaves in OR 59" long without the leaves. I currently have it set up with the two leaves in and it is approx. 95" Long. Has been well maintained with no noticeable scratches stains or knicks. It sits on two heavy claw like feet and spaced by spindles. See Pic#4) The underside is the same color as the top side. Without the leaves the table measures 60 x 40" and is 29" tall. The leaves are each 18" wide each. There are extremely fine hairline cracks on the very surface of the tabletop- they are infrequent- they are not separated and there are no pieces of veneer missing. Thy are only noticeable on the closest inspection- please see the last two pictures. It is caused by the drying of the veneer and there are no other issues to note. This dining room set is from a spotless smoke-free, pet-free home and is being offered by the original owners. It is in excellent condition and is part of a grouping that was used less than 30 times. Beautiful Antique Tiger Oak 54" Dining Table 6' w/ two leaves,
Beautiful tiger oak table. Has had its share of use and so there is normal wear from age and use. All original 4 wheels are there and work. Mechanisms to connect two part base together and for leaves are newly oiled and move well. It appears that when the table is put together for use there are holes for screws to make sure it's solid but there are no screws included. It sits pretty solidly on top of the base without them but for safety it should be screwed in place. The sides of the leaves that show are in very good condition and the other sides have some scratches and staining. The curved veneer on the feet of the table has been repaired. The table measures 54" across and over 6 feet long with both leaves. Each leaf is 9 inches by 54 inches. The base is 27 inches tall and 28 inches across. OK delivery options. The top is in very good condition. A few of those round balls look to perhaps been replaced. They match fairly close. There is a patent date of 1885 on the slide out part. It does not look brand new. You have to expect some flaws from something this age. The middle leg looks like wood might have been added…maybe so it wouldn’t sag in the middle. I’m sure there used to be casters on it. Great 1990s Rosewood Banded Mahogany English Dining Room Table w/ 2 Leaves This is a very fine recent English reproduction rosewood banded mahogany dining room table with 2 leaves. Table measures 47 X 72 inches with no leaves and has a simple reeded edge with wide rosewood banding with black line inlay and a straight grain mahogany surface and stands on 2 3-legged turned pedestals with brass casters. Table has no runners but uses 2 simple bars to support the leaves. Each leaf measures an additional 24 inches wide each. In very good clean condition. Some normal surface scratches on top from use. Fresh from a local estate we offer this set of 5(2 with skirt) solid mohogany banded inlaid table leaves. They measure 48" long and 9.5" wide. They have banded inlay on the top side egdge and side edge. Four metal pegs lock leaves in. Spacing for pegs is 1.5" and 16.5" from the edge. The edges of the leaves show scratches etc. from years of storage. Finish looks to be original so leaves would benefit from a refinishing. The corner of the edges have some chips ans wear and the lot is being sold as found. These will make a beautiful dining table complete! This table is in great shape over all. There is one dent I saw in the edge of the oval. Small really. The top has some imperfections. But is in good shape. There are 4 table leaves as well and no chairs. Meares 65 by 43 1/3rd and is 29 1/4 inches tall. The table leafs measure 18 by 43 1/2 inches. See photos for details.
