Karges Dining Table with Two Leaves Hand Carved
Handmade in the USA in Evansville. Indiana. Not a single piece made by a machine all order material and hand stained, dovetailed, and inlayed by hands. This was a gorgeous Karges table and then I let a furniture refinisher touch it and he ruined it by accidently spilling a chemical on it that took off the top coat on one side of the top of the table. So in order to save the table I painted it in a rich black paint, needless to say its still a karges table and the extensions show the banding on the outside edges. Chairs not included. It has some nicks from moving, ill include those pics tomorrow, but maybe a true refinisher could bring it back to its original beauty again. Hence the low price. We will work with your shipping, but if it needs boxing and palleting that 150 more to do.

Listing a great old heavy solid oak 44" square dining table ready for your holiday feasts. It was purchased and refinished in dark oak about 25 years ago and used for holiday meals. The table is a very large 44" x 44" in the smallest configuration. It is just about 30 1/2" tall with the original casters installed and can be dropped down about another inch just by popping the casters off. The original leaves are long gone but this table was used with birch make-do leaves and a single castoff oak leaf from another table for large holiday gatherings. The birch leaves are 21" wide and the lone oak leaf is 12 1/2" With all the leaves in place this table extends to 98" Do you need an 8+ foot table for your holiday gatherings? For sale is a vintage 1950's Mid Century Modern style spotted green formica table with 2 leaves and 6 matching dark grey chairs. Chairs all have original"Chromcraft" labels on them. These look to have the original vinyl coverings on them with nail head trim and sturdy metal legs. Base of each seat is plywood and and they appear to be stuffed with horsehair or some such thing. The table is unmarked as to manufacturer. But the numbers 479 and A-20 are written on the bottom. Table legs are a"hairpin" style with a tripod design coming down to one leg on each corner. Some light discoloration to formica top, no cracks or damage. Leaves are good. Chairs are all sturdy with some discoloration to vinyl, probably with clean up just fine. Very nice table and chair set! 1930s ART DECO French Zebra Mahogany Dining Table 79" by 39" with three leaves
I purchased this table in 1986 from the estate of the Canadian Ambassador to France in Ottawa Canada. It is beautiful and something you might see in a five star hotel lobby. The top is 79" by 39" and is starburst pattern zebra mahogany. It is edged in a darker mahogany. And the base of the top in inlaid mahogany diamonds with two ormolu trim of wreaths and arrows at each corner. The legs are cylinders. Zebra mahogany, mahogany and dark mahogany inlay floating on an ormolu ball. The base is a starburst zebra mahogany patter. And the edges of the base trimmed out in ormolu acanthus pattern so resting feet do not scratch the base. There are an additional three 16" leaves that match and make the table large enough to accommodate 8-10 guests. The base is stationary. But the top opens to accommodate the leaves which have ormalu pins ... moreto connect them. The condition is very good with some patina commensurate with the age of the piece.
