Entirely original hardware, c. 1790-1800 Item# 130011MIP03 This is a fine English George III Period Inlaid Mahogany Pembroke Table c. the last quarter of the 18th Century. Crafted from solid mahogany and mahogany veneers. Everything about this fine table speaks quality and attention to detail. The craftsmanship is impeccable, the construction precise and the wood of most choice quality for pristine presentation. The large rectangular top becomes ovular when the demilune leaves raise over their original iron hinges to rest on a pair of wings that swing out from the frame of the table on either side, resulting in a large and brilliant cognac mahogany surface edged by satinwood inlay. The ribbed and glowing quality of the mahogany cannot be underscored enough. A single drawer resides in the frame beneath the projecting top; the drawer is framed with cockbead molding and is hand dovetailed in the usual manner. Utilizing secondary oak woods to make up the frame for the drawer, the bottom board protected beneath runner strips and tacked with four iron brads along the back edge. The lock is probably original, though we have not removed it to be certain, the key now absent. On the other side of the table, the wood is crafted to create the illusion of a drawer where one does not exist. Flanking the drawer and faux-drawer are satinwood veneered panels surrounded by stringer inlay, the apron of the table lined in a thick satinwood border that completes the square profile of the table top. Resting over four square tapering legs. The table terminates on bright and original brass caster feet. The underside of the structure remains untouched, the iron rose head nails affixing the underside of the dustboard to the frame of the table with a pair of corner blocks securing the legs behind the faux-drawer. Here's a pair of French half round cabinets from the late 1800's The Bottom drawer on one does not go in all the way. I think the wood tabs glued at the back are wider in this drawer and it is an easy fix. These were used in a mortuary for over 80 years. Tops are inlaid. There are two drawers each. Very exquisite. Not perfect but almost. In the upper peninsula of MI and you would need to take care of shipping, possibly with the realtor at this end unless you move fast. ANTIQUE FRENCH DEMILUNE BARLEY TWIST CARVED MAHOGANY & GLASS WALL SHELF CABINET
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Antique to older vintage, mahogany wall cabinet. This is a beautiful cabinet with practical storage or display uses. It could also be used as an accent floor cabinet or nightstand. The cabinet features a demilune(semi-round) design with exquisite carved details. The cabinet base is raised and features a carved/notched rope accent. There are two large, carved barley twist columns on each side of the front door. The columns sit on carved acanthus plinths and have squared capitals. These accents extend outward from the balance of the cabinet so they are prominently featured. The cabinet contains 15 beveled glass panels. There are 3 panels on each side of the center door and the door itself contains 9 panels. Each panel is secured on the interior with small wooden supports. The beveled edges add even ... moregreater interest to the cabinet and provide a"leaded" glass look. The cabinet features a flat top surface which can also be used for display. It is also solid wood and has been finished in the same manner as the cabinet front. The door pull is metal with a back plate and dangled pull. The interior hinges look newer than the rest of the cabinet and have probably been replaced at some point. The cabinet houses 2 removable wooden shelves. These rest on very small nails for support. The back of the cabinet is mahogany. It is a two section design with a vertical support between the sections. Old wood is placed horizontally on the upper and lower back for support. The upper piece has once housed hanging brackets but they are no longer present. This is a very nice, cabinet with beautiful details. It is in very good condition with only minimal evidence of age or use. The wood is has only VERY MINOR scuffs in just a couple of areas. The interior shelves have clean surfaces with very little evidence of use. The glass is good with no chips or breaks. The unit is large. Demilune Chest or Console Cabinet. 1925 Vintage, Sunburst Top. A sophisticated demilune or half round shaped chest or console cabinet dates from around 1925. Diamond matched mahogany and the sunburst pattern satinwood top are banded. The silken top has been revarnished for durability. The base is original and has been waxed and buffed so only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm patina. Hand painted flowers and embossed hardware are original. Door locks are operational. Drawers have dovetailed solid mahogany sides on this superior quality American made unsigned furniture. The base and feet have graceful carving. For your consideration. A vintage wooden demi lune wall shelf. I'm not sure what type wood from which it's made. Finish is a gold wash over mahogany stain. Approx. 9" wide by 7 1/8" tall by 4 1/2" deep. Nicely done with a lip on shelf edge. CONDITION ISSUES: A very worn area to the finish on the top surface of shelf. Wear on lip of shelf and a couple of nicks on underside of shelf. A few light scratches and light nicks. This item is being sold as is. We are pleased to offer this fabulous vintage table. The table is in the French. Louis XV or Rococo style. It features a demilune design and is made of cast bronze/brass. The metal has a very ornate pattern of flowers, shells and vines. The functional stretcher is also decorative. The bronze is gilded on the front sides with a blackened coating on the backs of the legs. The table top is BEAUTIFUL. It is a solid(thick) piece of Sarrancolin marble with distinctive patterns in multiple colors. The overall color is a rose tone and their are several areas of quartz in the stone as well. The marble features an ogee edge detail. The table is in very good condition. It is heavy and sturdy. There is some patina to the bronze, particularly at the stretcher section. The underneath side of the marble is drilled with small holes. The holes line up with ... moreareas on the table top and are designed to have a wooden dowel attach the marble to the top. There is only one wooden dowel present. So, the marble currently sits freely on the table top. You can replace the missing dowels to secure the marble. The table is assembled with large, flat screws. The original manufacturer's sticker is still attached and it reads"Bronzes S. Jorge, LDA" This was a manufacturer located in Lisbon, Portugal. It has been out of business for several years. The cabinet has a door which opens with a small antique brass knob and reveals a shelf for storage; the inside is painted an antique green. The finish on this piece is in very good condition for its age. Showing minimal wear; It is c. 1 920s-1940s. It has painted edges in places along with inlay stained/ painted wood designs and flourishes on all three panels on the front. With a lovely, large bouquet on the center panel. We are pleased to offer this EXQUISITE table. The table is semi-round(demilune) and features detailed figural legs and ornate. Scrolled fretwork. The figures are female and are accented with acanthus leaf garlands. They are a hollowed wood and may be a carved, applique(hard to discern) The table has 3 cabriole legs with acanthus detail at the feet. The wood is finished in a gold wash(original) with some soft brush strokes purposefully visible. The table features a white, Carerra marble(3/4" thick) top with gray veins. The marble is cut to flow with the curvature of the table and is also original to the piece. The table does not have a manufacturer's mark, but there is"T124" hand written on the back. This is a very ornate table with wonderful character. It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age or use. This is nice old half-round style accent table. I believe the wood is cherry. It looks to have been refinished at some point. The table stands approx 24" high. 24" at the widest point and 12" at the deepest point. Nice scalloped edge and simple carved legs. Bottom shelf is removable. It has a semi-radial type cut to the shaped beveled edge top with a very pretty shaped backsplash across the back and very pretty"bead trim" around the top of the apron and on the front leg. ANTIQUE FRENCH IMPORT STRIPE MAHOGANY DEMILUNE FOLDING GAME TEA GATELEG TABLE

The table dates to the late 19th century or very early 20th century. It is a versatile table as it is a demilune that folds out to a round table. The table was designed to be used as a gaming(card) or tea table when expanded. The table is mahogany and features a beautiful striped mahogany on the table top. The top and apron are trimmed with brass. The table has 5 stationary legs when in demilune form. There are two legs that fold and lock into place under the table(see photo 6) When unfolded, the table has 7 legs. The five stationary legs have brass feet, the folding legs do not. The table is easy to fold/unfold and has a locking mechanism to hold it in place when it is unfolded. The folding ... moretop is completely faced with the striped mahogany, there is no felt on the top. The table features two stickers, still attached, that read"Camard-Dimer, Made in France" There are hand written numbers(in ink) of 6486. This is either the model number of the table or it could be the import number. This is a beautiful table with elegant and sleek lines. It is in very good condition and it operates perfectly. There are a few minor scuffs to the finish. There is one area on the table top that appears to be a moisture stain. It is present only when the top is expanded. In the demilune position, it is not visible. The front leg sits slightly off center and can be adjusted. The brass trim around the table top does have an aged patina and a few minor"dings" This is not glaring or distracting. The table is sturdy but not terribly heavy. This is a classic table! The table.
