The original 4 piece protective pad that I have does not allow for the extra center leaves. This table has only a couple of very minor flaws: a couple of watermarks on the top. And a couple of minor abrasions to the legs at chair seat height. These are just flaws in the finish only-there are no scratches, gouges, chips, cracks or repairs to this original condition, elegant piece. The 2 original leveling feet for the center support are missing. Once again lighting and photographing this piece presented a bit of a challenge for me. Very nice example, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

This is a super nice Danish Modern Complete Dining Room Set. All of these pieces are solid Teak and in great condition. The table and six chairs are BOLTINGE. The table has two leaves that are self contained and each19 inches wide. So the table is 63 inches long and 40 inches wide and when the two leaves are added it is 101 inches in length. Mid Century Danish Modern Adrian Pearsall Teak Dining Table& 8 Moreddi Chairs This is a very nice and original piece out of an older home in Ann Arbor. This is a Teak table that was designed by Adrian Pearsall(if my research is correct) in the 1950's/60's. It's not perfect but very nice. With the two 20" leaves in place it is 88 1/4" long x 48" wide. The top is very heavy and 1 1/4" thick! Minimal wear on the top. No deep scratches or gouges, chips etc.just some random faint"spotting" It has two leaves which are easily removed, sliding mechanism works smoothly. Each of the leaves show a faint"circle" possible a watermark or? The solid Teak base legs have a few"dings" from 50 years of wear but only if you really look(far above average) It has 8 matching chairs that are in very ... moregood condition as well. 4 Of the chairs retain the Moreddi label, four have had it removed. No tears or issues with the fabric. Some you can tell were used more than others showing light finish wear but again, less than average wear on them. This is a beautiful set that has been well cared for and just needs a new home. She is now a widow and was selling her home and belongings and moving into a retirement home. Having seen many meals and family gatherings, this classic was in dire need of a meticulous restoration. Someone attempted to do some restoration previously that was unacceptable and failing. I knew when I saw it this set was a diamond in the rough. Johannes Andersen Teak Danish Modern Expandable Dining Table for Uldum Mblfabrk
This is a gorgeous teak single-leaf expandable table by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik. Andersen was well known as one of the more prolific Danish furniture designers. This piece is unique in that it has a single leaf for expansion. It's design was ingenious. As seen in pic# 6. You slide the extension holder out, remove the extension and rotate it, placing the extension perfectly snug against the table(pic#7) and supported by the holder. It takes 2 seconds to do and is incredibly stable and secure. The teak grain in this piece is stunning and book-marked, shown best in pics#3 and 8. Each leg has slight scuffs near the bottom as seen in pic#11. There are also two very minor age related marks on the table top seen in pics#9,10. I have shown these with a pen to give a sense size. The table retains its original Danish control branding ... moreunderneath, as well as the makers mark. As with all Danish furniture, this is an incredibly well made and designed table.
