Authentic German late A r t Deco Karl Lauffer Table Clock in brass(polished) It is a Karl Lauffer from Schwenningen(Germany) who lived 1893-1954)he was a trained clockmaker who started manufacturing in 1919. Unusually for those days he sold to customers direct, not through wholesalers or specialist shops. It is not recorded what his company was making during the second World War. But in 1945 the factory was badly damaged by bombs. Production started again in 1947 but Lauffer was only allowed to export to France at that time. In 1948 he was again allowed to sell on the home market. There is a porcelain 4 3/8 inch diameter dial having a painted multi color scene of butterflies and florals. And arabic numerals. Notice how there is even arabic 5 minute intervals on the dial. It has very petit and ornate brass hands and the case has a cupid's bust on the front of the clock, just under the urn. Porcelain Vintage Hand Painted Table Lamp Brass Base Bernini Fish Feet
We have for your consideration a beautiful vintage hand painted porcelain large lamp. With a decorative base of brass and four fish feet. The porcelain has an array of pink, yellow& blue flowers on a white base, with gold trim decorations and small cut outs. I replaced the electrical. But not the cord. It works great with the new three way switch. The lamp is 35 1/2" tall. Brass base 7" Our handling fees are used for the cost of shipping material only. We use extra packing material. Fine French Directoire Style Brass Inlaid Mahogany Side Table c. 1890-1910. Three-Tiers w/ One Drawer Item# 120012ERT03 This is a delightful table was crafted during the Edwardian period. An incredibly well formed work of art of flamed mahogany primary woods. The top of the table has a shaped pierced brass gallery around the edges, brass-stringer inlay framing the surface of each level. In the center of the top is a stunning inlaid medallion, a circle with outward flowing acanthus leaves and foliage sprouting from it, flowers draped along a vine on either side. All of the brass work and hardware is entirely original and in simply outstanding condition. A single shaped drawer pulls from the front of the table. The hand dovetailed drawer construction locking the frame together over a single board bottom, the edges of the bottom chamfered to ... morerabbet into the frame. The interior is lined with satinwood veneers. The turned legs are crafted in three parts, each section between the shelves separate from that beneath it. These terminate in tapered feet, ring turned at the top. This is a simply gorgeous little table of remarkably high quality for any serious collector of French Directoire style furniture or works of the Edwardian period. With stunning color and rich patina. This is a piece you will treasure for a lifetime. They have a three legged design which feature a dragon or griffin head/face as their top finial and a curved body griffin or winged lion on the lower leg sections, and lion paw feet. The legs are long and sleek and are elevated above the stands' tiered shelves. The shelf sections feature a repeated pattern. Their centers are a solid brass medallion with a bullseye center. The bullseye is surrounded with an incised pattern of intricate acanthus leaves"fleur de lis" as well as scrolls and curves. The solid medallions are surrounded with an opened, pierced brass border. It was stored in a smoke-free home and not in a damp environment of any type. The only issue is that there are two minor water stains on the surface. Barely noticeable.you can see the worse of the two in the photos. These will buff or even sand out should you want to refinish the surface. However. Sigismund Augustus King Poland and G. D. Lithuania Silvered Brass Table Medal
LARGE TABLE MEDAL OF SIGISMUND AUGUSTUS. KING OF POLAND AND GRAND DUKE OF LITHUANIA I am offering a large silvered brass(or bronze) table medal minted to honor Sigismund Augustus(Zygimantas Augustas) Jagellon(Jogailaitis) King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. It is number 80 in the series of Polish Kings and Royals and their Coins by Prof. Witold Korski(1918-2003) one of the most famous Polish artists, architects, sculptors and engravers. The series was issued between 1972 and 1986. One side shows the coat of arms of Poland and Lithuania, superimposed over the Union of Lublin document and surmounted by a royal crown. LARGE BLACKENED BRASS TABLE MEDAL OF NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE OF LITHUANIA I am offering a large blackened brass table medal issued to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the founding of the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania. Minted in 1998 by the Mint of Lithuania. One side shows the Stock Exchange's emblem and the other. The most prominent landmarks of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The medal's author is Antanas Zukauskas. The medal is housed in a beautiful leather case and comes with a certificate from the Mint of Lithuania. THREE DAY AUCTION! This is a great Antique 19th Century Cast Brass side table(without a top. The top in the photos show is broken and is not included in this auction) It has fantastic detail from top to bottom. Loop Rope handle Scrolling flowers and Diving Dolphin Serpents. Lilly flowers and Torchieres. Reticulated base with Greek Key Scroll. Planted on four claw feet. It measures 33" tall and is in excellent condition, no breaks or repairs. It looks to have been gold gilt when made. It may also be signed but is difficult to read. The marble top in the photos is a mock up broken piece of marble. This top is not included in the auction. Antique 4 Claw Footed Victorian Plant Stand Side Table Brass Cast Iron Steampunk
Here we have a great victorian plant stand that has brass legs cast claw feet and cast iron top and leg brass. There is also a mirror in the center that you could either keep or replace with a small piece of marble or a tile. The top of the table. Is about 13 1/4 inches by 13 1/4 inches, this includes the cast iron on the sides of the mirror. This table stands about 29 1/2 inches tall. As you can see from the photos this table was painted, some time ago, all in gold. If you look at photo 11 you can see the brass legs are decorated similar to another table that I have listed. The buyer could choose to keep the old gold paint or remove it from the brass legs and show it's original design. This table will ship FedEx ground so it will not be able to ship to a PO Box. This antique Graybar brass blade fan is in very good shape. But someone has painted the cage on it. I don't know why someone would do that, but they did. It has the original cord, which has almost no wear to it, and works perfectly. It's 18 1/2" tall, and 17 1/2" across, with 7" long blades. Large 32" Antique Mahogany Hammered Brass Folding Coffee Tea Tray Table Detailed Offered here is a simply beautiful tray top table. It features a high quality hand etched hammered brass tray top. The top is incredible and features a rider mounted on a horse fighting what looks to be a dragon. It features many smaller pannels with animals carved in them. It is a very nice piece featuring some incredible hand work on the tray top. The top sits on a hand carved base that is made from one piece of wood. The base is pierced carved and interconnected. It is made from what looks to be mahogany. The table stands 19 inches high from the ground and it has a 1 inch rim on the top that brings the height to 20 inches. I would guess that this piece was made in India or Turkey. It features some of the best art work I have seen with a great deal of ... moredetail. Also. The table is quite large. It is 32 3/4 inches in diameter making it just short of 3 feet across. This is just a super piece. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself it's quality and value. No reserve and low open on this lot of vintage items You get the following metal tray I believe it is copper or maybe brass- hammered looking metal has few spots with a little heavier wear but nothing major- the tray measures 20" long x 10 1/2" across wider side x little under 5 1/2" on smaller side x about 2" tall highest point- the stand is about 4" tall x 17 1/2" long x hair over 7 1/2" wide bigger side x little over 4" smaller end the small tray I believe is enameled- maybe copper underneath- few spots enamel or paint has scraped off but overall good- measures about 4 1/2" across I cannot guarantee all items are from Pet Free/Smoke Free homes.
