Antique Light Oak Drop Leaf Farm Table
Beautiful old Oak drop leaf farm table with legs that are turned spindles and the top is a typical two piece construction that is a tell tell sign of its vintage origin. The leafs are held up by a swinging gate arm(visible in one of the pictures) on both sides. Arms are solid and swing easily. With the leafs down it is a compact size allowing it to fit in any kitchen or small area. There is a slight imperfection on one of the inside of one of the edges and there are some minor scratches on the top. This table is still in better condition than most tables of it's age. A great sturdy old table for your kitchen. Sitting area or any part of the house as a conversation piece.

This is an antique(oak I believe) table top from an early 1900's Singer treadle. There are some minor wear(scuffs. Scratches, discoloration) because it is almost 100 years old but overall a nice solid piece and one of the better table tops I have ever seen in regards to condition. The wood is very sound and strong and free of major cracks or structural damage and comes with the hinges. It measures approximately 36.5" from side to side and 18" from front to back. The only issue I have sound with this piece is that someone added a few nails to the top. The top must have been lose and they nailed a few nails into it to tighten it up. The nail heads are very small and are flush on the top of the table so they are very hard to see. I did not notice them until I cleaned the piece. Listing tonight is a reclaimed/ repurposed solid quarter sawn white oak cabinet for your flat screen tv or media center. It was a bottom of a very large desk and was re fitted with white oak top. It is a unique size with 3 long and wide narrow drawers. It is perfect for a large flat screen that would have the drawers on the side. The top is 20 1/2 inches by 36 inches and has a nice overhang. It is 25 1/2 inches tall with 4 nice shapely legs/ feet. It was stripped and some of the white paint is showing a little. The 3 solid brass pulls are simple and original. The drawers are 14 inches wide. 35 inches long but only 4 1/2 inches tall. They had devides at one time but long gone. CD's do not stand up but maybe a great storage for prints, slides, rolled documents or any other ideas you may have, 2 coats of nice poly, Very heavy and nice solid ... morepiece. These extremely well made. Sturdy chairs feature some of the finest carvings seen on furniture of a hundred ye ars ago. They are in all-original. Excellent condition with no repairs or refinish. A very close examination will reveal that they are actually two pairs with subtle differences in the carved motifs and legs. This is a wonderful tiger sawn oak turn of the century table. With a split pedestal base, lion claw foot and a hard to find lion head incorporated ... moreinto the leg. It has rope beaded skirt molding on the tiger sawn skirt frame. We have taken this 44-inch solid oak top table with four 10-inch-wide leaves, and have skirted them so they match the rope braiding on the regular skirt and refinished the entire table. It has the original center leg, four leaves that are original to the table but we skirted the sides, and everything else is all original. It’s been stripped, sanded, stained, and multiple coats of hand-rubbed lacquer applied. The lion heads are those Gothic-style heads with the teeth exposed, and the applied carving has wood and gesso on them that is all perfect. The toenails on the claws become very pronounced against the octagon shaped base, and it’s all solid wood. The overall size is 44 inches round, and 30 inches high. When all four leaves are in, it becomes 83 inches long, which can easily take a set of six chairs. We are really please to have both found this beautiful table, and to have it all skirted out with leaves, because it looks better than the big ugly gaps that most people sell their tables with.
