The table features fantastic grain patterns to the top surface. Achieved through the use of oak planks, rather than one piece of timber. It also gives it a more rustic, casual dining feel. It stands on lovely turned and fluted legs and has a substantial shaped stretcher base. The table will comfortably seat 4, or 6 people if smallish chairs are used. The table measures 120cm long. 89cm wide and the table surface is 77cm high. The table is in very good antique condition. Structurally strong and robust. It does have some scratching and bumps to the table surface, but these only add to the charm and character of the piece, and provide that more rustic feel- very chic! The leaves on this table easily slide out from underneath the top. Using the leaves increases the size of the table from 36″ to 60″ You can also use just one of the 12″ leaves if needed. The wood used to make this illustrious pub table is solid oak. The oak is heavy and sturdy. It has a dark medium brown color to it which looks great. The richness of the oak and the visual appeal of its grain make this one of the nicest pub tables we have had. The photo taken in the kitchen is the most recent picture of this table. This is an antique heavy table that has been in the family for years. My dad refinished this beautiful round oak table years ago. The table is 29" tall and 23 1/2" round. The bottom shelf is 13" from the floor. The top of the table has a design etched in the wood. This would make a nice foyer. Side table or lamp table. Also great for the Christmas Holidays to hold your Nativity set. This is a very sturdy table. It seems as if a small piece of glue has come loose from the top of the table on one of the seams. Here is a marvelous antique dark oak table or dresser top cabinet with two shelves behind the lovely carved frame doors surrounding the old oval glass panes. The cabinet has holes in the bottom with screws to securely tighten down the cupboard to the surface on which it sits. This terrific early twentieth century cabinet was imported fromt he United Kingdom through Edinburgh. Scotland. It measures 30 1/2 inches long by 11 inches front to back by 19 inches tall. Here’s an antique Trestle Table which I acquire in the late 70’s with the purchase of an old house in Pinehurst NC that was build in 1919. This is one of the many beautiful antique furnishings that were included with the purchase. Today I use this versatile piece in the kitchen for preparing and serving food. This double trestle table measures approximately 30 ½” x 72” x 28” H x W x D) The table top surface is made up from several long thick oak plank boards with beautiful figuring in the grain. There are wormholes and cracks in the oak surface reflecting the vintage age of this piece. One of the tabletop pictures provided reveals 2 gold glitter felt pen marks placed there several years ago by my youngest child. Authentic Antique 1932'HOOSIER' Tiger Oak Dining Table* This is a genuine Hoosier Tiger Oak dining room table with turned legs. It was made by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company of New Castle. Indiana. It has a hidden extension leaf in the center of the table that is connected to hinges on each side. When the sections are pulled apart, the hidden leaf is exposed. It is then raised and jointed together to each section. Underneath, there is a gear that turns on two tracks with teeth as the sections are moved back and forth with ease. There is a metal stamped plate underneath above the gear area. That patent plate shows that this unique design was created& engineered by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company. The table measures 46" long without the extension leaf in place. With the extension leaf. It measures 63" long. ... moreIt is 30" high. The condition is VERY GOOD ++ and it has obviously been well cared for. Still looking beautiful. It does have some'warping' in the center of the table and with the extension pulled up and out. There is still slight warping noticeable but I this could be fixed if you know how? I have used this table for almost 18 years. They do not make tables like this anymore! It does have some nicks and scratches and so forth but they are superficial and I am certain they can also be fixed quickly if you have the'know how' The finish still looks very nice! This table is no doubt a rare and unique example of Hoosier furniture representing fine quality craftsmanship during the first part of the 20th century. Most people are familiar with the Hoosier Cabinets made in New Castle. Indiana. Offered is a wonderful solid oak Bible table. As is called by many. It can be used as a plant/parlor table or occasional table for old radio. Oil lamp, etc. or parlor items. It could be a one of a kind, no manufacturer marks. Not sure. The Greek Key en- graving is hand produced. The Spindled legs are unique and turned on a lathe. One leg has a flat side(see pics) denoting a possible shortage of material and using what wood was left. This table is heavy and well made. It would have to be refinished if desired. Has a water mark on the top(see pic) but not down to the grain, only in the varnish. It looks as if someone highlighted some of the finish with a varnish/stain mix. Antique tiger oak dining table with bear claw foot legs and carved pedestal base. Circa 1880s. Table measures approximately 52" in diameter. Set includes the table and four(4) chairs with spindle backs and cane bottoms. The pedestal base has intricate carvings and relief as typical of furniture from this period. The table top and base is in very good condition with no major damages or deep scratches.As with all antiques, the table and chairs reflect the usual wear and tear and imperfections. The table pedestal base has a crank that allows it to separate for expansion, and this sometimes doesn't form a tight connection when in its closed position without some hand adjustment. This is a very very unique piece This desk folds down into a table and back up into a desk with a drawer and pull out writing area.This desk must have been upper class during the era due to the detail in wood work and hinges. Wooden legs have a nice spindle look. Base writing area pulls ou t for more writing and ha s finger grooves to pull out base. There is a center drawer built in and there are two cubby areas to each side of the drawer. There i s a crack on the back leg of the piece but ... moreis not noticeable when placed against a wall. It can be easily repaired with wood filler. I can repair with filler for an a dditional $10 if you require. There is a numbered mark under the desk#3551. Which may be a m anufactu re number. The number look like military style. So I am assuming this could be a milit ary desk for a high ranked officer possibly. I purchased this from a wealthy estate owner. I dont have much more history to offer on this. But is a very unique item. I dont see any other pieces like this offered on ebay. Antique Mission Oak Library Desk I can find no markings on this except a#17 in pencil in the drawer slide and a# 17 in pencil in the drawer. I assume they did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of ... morea quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. He said his Grandmother got it around the time she was married and he couldn't remember if it was 1897 or 1898. The condition is superior. It has been well cared for for 115 years by the same family. The oak grain is beautiful and the only flaws are: on the bottom of one of the round feet. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever. Has beautiful detail in the grain. Antique Dietzgen Drafting Table University of Illinois Cast Iron Oak Original
Very Large and all original antique Dietzen(king of drafting tables) drafting or architect table- cast iron still has original paint from the early 1900's. this has a very old university of illinois inventory stencil on it with a 4 digit serial number. the solid oak wood on the base is in amazing shape with no cracks or bad spots. the original top with all original hardware is birds eye maple with a few ink spots but no bad spots that need refinishing. I have not tried to clean this at all. a refinisher told me simple rubbing alcohol will take the ink off, i got this for my kid but it is way to large for his room with the top measuring 3 by 5 foot. it stands 42 inches tall and can be adjusted down with the turn of a wheel to 33 inches. it can also swivel to an almost vertical position for painting or art projects or storing somewhere ... morewhen not in use. i will definitely allow local pick up but i will ship, it will be the buyers responsibility to set up shipping. it is quite large and im sure usps or ups will not take it-i saw where greyhound bus lines does shipping but you have to pick it up at one of their terminals for a couple hundred bucks or uship is a great service and could probably be arranged for a couple hundred dollars. im very easy to work with and will make this as effortless as possible for the buyer. if shipped i will wrap with bubble wrap and blankets for the shipment. i can also deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee of dollar a mile. very cool steampunk antique item that will hold its value and most likely increase over time. you will likely not find one of these especially in this great shape that has not been refinished. being all original and this great i think the value of this with being from the university of illinois and from the early 1900's i think the value of this is triple the starting amount.good luck bidding and ask any questions. thank you.

This is a gorgeous curlicue oak-top Victorian-age lamp table that dates from the 1880s or‘90s. It has an oak top with an oak bottom shelf. ... moreAnd all the original curlicues all the way around with the stick and ball accented legs. We brought it in with a split on the oak top. We repaired the top, re-sprayed it and stained it and re-sprayed the wicker to brighten up the beautiful finish, and it even has original metal ball and claw glass ball feet. It appears to have all its curlicues and little balls intact, but I can’t guarantee it because there’s so much to look at it. The table came out of a local estate, where it’s been for 40-something years that I know of. The overall size is 24 inches square on top, 30 inches high, and the bottom shelf is 16 inches high. What a pretty table. I believe it is oak. 28.5 inches tall. 18 inches across the top, 4 detailed legs, a detailed skirt, tons of charm. It has nails in it, so it is not old antique, but probably from the 1930s, 40s, or 50s. not an expert) A little nick out of the second shelf and a couple of water glass rings on the top is the only damage.
