This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. It is QUITE UNUSUAL with ornate metal work on ALL 4 CORNERS on the TOP of the chest.as well as ALL 4 CORNERS on the FRONT of the chest. Both front doors also have a metal SHIELD decoration and one side has a key lock which I do not have the key for. Nor do I know if it works.but looks very classy with all the Victorian Fancy Hardware. When opened. It reveals 3 drawers ~ 1 larger bottom one and 2 smaller side ones. It also has an open space to the right of the smaller drawers. The HANDLES on the 3 drawers are ORNATE with UNUSUAL DROP BAIL PULLS! ONE pull is MISSING. There is one pull which is unattached and as there is some metal damage to the 2 other handles. It will need some fixing.but still acceptable for its age in my opinion. Back is made of 2 pieces of wood and is not split. Just age seperation. The bottom is covered in old felt. CONDITION: ONE SIDE of the cabinet/chest has a center split in the wood. There appears to have been some work on the side that is split.I think it is all original with reinforcing screws.but because this is not my area of

Antique oak Possum belly table in GREAT condition. Kitchen Island?
This is a great possum belly table made out of oak from around the turn of the last century. It's in really great condition for that age. There is a slight crack in one of the drawers but not really noticeable and doesn't affect the functionality of the piece. It also has a built in cutting board. My parents have used this piece in their kitchen as a kitchen island before and it looks really neat. I don't have the measurements off hand. But I can get them if needed. The pattern is Bryce Brothers"Willow Oak" aka"Wreath" Circa 1880 with possible continued production after the 1891 US Glass merger. The pattern has not been reproduced. The table set is in fantastic condition! No item has significant wear flaws. Chips/cracks/repairs/etc. except for the spooner, described below. All items are a rich golden amber, clean and very shiny, with a perfect pattern impression. Some items have a few small insignificant wear flaws. Please look at the photos which are part of the desc/cond. For all 4 items, both sides are shown. The spooner has 2 tiny chips on the base rim's side. One is on ... morea mold seam. Probably due to manufacturing. The other is approx 2" from the first, probably wear. Neither are easily seen from above. The spooner also has a very tiny chip on the top rim which can't be seen with normal viewing. Some manufacturing artifacts are present. Primarily the butter dish top base rim, base inner rim have mold roughness with associated tiny nicks/chips/tool marks, none visible when the top is on the base. Antique dining table. Red oak. Table doesn't have leafs but it can take them if some are made for it. When we got it it was painted bright blue with another layer of white buttermilk paint underneath which preserved the wood. It was made by Watertown Table Elite Co. Made sometime between 6-13-1899 to 10-1-1912. Made in Watertown Wisconsin. We had it stripped and restrained. We had a glass top made for it to make it level as one leaf sags just a hair. This auction is for an antique most unusual MISSION. ARTS& CRAFTS, Victorian era side accent table. Here comes the story on the table. It sat in the corner of my grandparents summer cottage for all 70 years that they owned the cottage. It originally held a lamp that was an apothecary jar filled with marbles. I only mention that. Because my brother through a"Dick and Jane" book at me, and it broke the lamp, and the marbles went everywhere. Our butts were sore for the entire evening after that. When my family sold the cottage. I just had to have the table. I took it home, placed it in a corner with a huge fern on it until, I moved out of that house in 1988. When I was moving the table is the first time I ever noticed that one& half of the six legs were broken off. I was telling my mom about it, and she laughed and told me ... morethat I must be blind because the legs were gone since before I was born in 1947. She told me that was the reason it was in the corner for all those years. I can't believe I missed it. It never wobbled for me. And, as you can see, it stands straight when you have things placed on it. The top needs refinishing for sure. It has 12 sides to it. And a beading ball rim. The oak body has rounded off ridges running the length of the table. There are cut out diamond shapes around the table. If you can live with the unusual leg problem. And love things in a shabby condition, you could really love this true ARTS& CRAFTS little table. It can be used in many styles of home decor. It has been well cared for for 115 years by the same family. The oak grain is beautiful and the only flaws are: on the bottom of one of the round feet. Someone cut off a section of the very bottom so that it would fit closely next to something.however, it still is level because they cut off only a section, not the entire tip(please see the last pic) The other flaw is that there is a hair line split on the top where the wood has a miniscule separation. I had to inspect closely to find this. This table requires no restoration whatsoever except for light surface scratches on the top. n oth ing a little bit of old english won't cure. Has beautiful tiger oak detail in the grain. Measurements are as follows: Oval Top is 32.75" long x 18" wide 27" tall from floor to top middle decorative shelf is 7.25" wide x 16" long with scrolling lower 2 round shelves are 10.5" in diameter. Very Large and all original antique Dietzen(king of drafting tables) drafting or architect table- cast iron still has original paint from the early 1900's. this has a very old university of illinois inventory stencil on it with a 4 digit serial number. the solid oak wood on the base is in amazing shape with no cracks or bad spots. the original top with all original hardware is birds eye maple with a few ink spots but no bad spots that need refinishing. I have not tried to clean this at all. a refinisher told me simple rubbing alcohol will take the ink off, i got this for my kid but it is way to large for his room with the top measuring 3 by 5 foot. it stands 42 inches tall and can be adjusted down with the turn of a wheel to 33 inches. it can also swivel to an almost vertical position for painting or art projects or storing somewhere ... morewhen not in use. i will definitely allow local pick up but i will ship, it will be the buyers responsibility to set up shipping. it is quite large and im sure usps or ups will not take it-i saw where greyhound bus lines does shipping but you have to pick it up at one of their terminals for a couple hundred bucks or uship is a great service and could probably be arranged for a couple hundred dollars. im very easy to work with and will make this as effortless as possible for the buyer. if shipped i will wrap with bubble wrap and blankets for the shipment. i can also deliver within a reasonable distance for a fee of dollar a mile. very cool steampunk antique item that will hold its value and most likely increase over time. you will likely not find one of these especially in this great shape that has not been refinished. being all original and this great i think the value of this with being from the university of illinois and from the early 1900's i think the value of this is triple the starting amount.good luck bidding and ask any questions. thank you. i will only be listing this once more before taking it to the auction-its taking up alot of room

for sale is a wonderful quartersawn oak parlor table. it has as good of flake as you can find in quartersawn oak. every piece in the table has an abundant showing of the quartersawn grain. the table has been refinished as it was painted green. where in the hay did they come up with those idiotic colors? other than refinishing it is all original. no missing or damaged pieces that i see. it has great carvings on the legs where they attach to the top. it has a wonderful contoured skirt with a top that is slightly recessed which gives this table extra nice form and beauty. it is really a classy table at a bargain price. i need to get rid of some stuff as i can barely get thru the house anymore. anyway. To assure safe transport, I have taken it apart. This will not affect the value as the table legs where screwed to the top and middle shelf. This is a mission or arts and crafts period table. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. Appears to be quarter sawn oak with tiger oak grain top. Good condition overall, but needs glue/repair where lower shelf attachs to leg(see photo) Also has one light spot on top. This is a nice tall table that would work in many locations. One center drawer.
