Primitive 1800s NC Antique Pine Farm Table
A well-loved antique primitive NC farm table from a farm house in Rockingham County. NC, circa mid-late 1800s. Table has a lovely, deep ocher stain added later with a soft patina on its top. Each of the table's 4 corners are squared off, which was a popular design at that time in history. Dimensions: 67" long by 42" wide. Distance from floor to bottom of tapered apron is 22.5" and to top is 29.5. The top of table consists of four(4) pine boards, three of which are milled(see mill lines in photo#9) while the middle board is a hand-planed board that is 13.25" wide. The middle board also has a crack which does not threaten the table's integrity and adds to the table's character! The legs are hand-carved and somewhat tapered at the bottom. All constructed with hand-forged, hand-cut nails. The previous owners drilled ... moreholes in the bottom legs to take castors and wooden castors(we can find these for you) can be placed on the bottoms of each leg to add an additional 2-3" of heighth to the table. One table leg(under the table top) has 2 phillips head screws that may have been added(see pic#8) at a later date to make it sturdier; otherwise, the table is entirely constructed with hand-forged, hand-cut nails. Coronado Model 650 Antique Tube Radio Table Top Farm Set DC Battery
Up for auction is a Coronado Model 650 Table Top Farm Set. Battery Set. The radio has not been tested. I don't see any speaker cone damage. The front dial glass(plastic) is not cracked, although it is dirty on the inside. The tuner knob does not turn the tuning capacitor and is very stiff(although the capacitor turns easily)the belt is broken. The left inside bottom of the wood cabinet is damaged. See picture. I was told when I bought this table it was@200 yrs old. However. I don't know for sure. I have used this as my kitchen table for over 30 yrs, It has never been refinished as far as I know. It is in good condition with the normal amount of wear and scratches for a table this age. It measures 72" x29"and is 31" tall. The seat has a storage compartment in it. There are also 2 round thin circles, maybe 8" around on the table top and seat. Also one of the 4 pegs is different. Thank you for looking. I will be happy to answers any questions.

Three Massive 5" Diameter Antique Table Wood Legs Found in the barn at a farm sale two legs are 27" and one is 23 1/2" tall. Each are 5" in diameter. If I had to take a guess I'd say the wood was walnut but have no expertise in the area. They are a piece of art when I look at them. They amaze me the way they were constructed.as big puzzles. As you can see in the photos the finish is extremely worn and that is there beauty. The smallest leg has a chunk missing as you can see the photos. These would be a great statement piece just standing in the corner of a large room, or they could certainly be repurposed into lighting or shelf columns. They are beautiful to me and I am sure they will be beautiful to someone else too. FYI-The box is 36 lbs.

An elderly Antique Dealer once told me that the way to tell if the piece of furniture is an early piece is to look for SQUARE Nuts(instead of Hexonal Nuts) and this table has square nuts(legs are removable) and is indeed an early piece. Antique Wood Horse Drawn Buckboard Wagon Spring Seat coffee table Farm Primitive
The four legs of octagonal cross section are not original to the piece(obviously) since this was a'sprung' wagon seat. However. The legs are secure in their bearings and do not wobble. Size overall is 41 1/2 x 16 x 18 1/2" h. Seat is a single piece of wood 14 1/4" wide. This was my mother's for as long as I can recall and I'm 60. So she must've bought this in the 50's. There's a price of 10.00 lightly sketched on the bot. If we figure things cost approx 10 x more today than in the 50's. That would put the price around 100 dollars(if wagon seats retain their value) So I'll try a bid open of 99.00. Fed Ex wants 95.00 to deliver. I checked Greyhound but their site is under maintenance. I'm guessing(from experience) they'd want 70 to ship so that's what I'll list as ship cost. Antique Farm Table With High Back Benches
I have an antique farm table with 2 high back bench seats which I have had personally for the last 25 years. This is solid wood. Not cheap"wood like" product material! The previous owner told me that his family had owned it for at least 30 years prior. Which would make it at least 55 year old now. Measurements: Table: 70 5/8" L x 27 7/8" W x 30" H Benches: 70 3/4" L x 13" W x 39" H It does have usage wear. But it adds to the character. It also has one slat that is busted out near the top rail on one of the benches. Could easily be repaired/secured. I just don't have the time to do so.

This authentic antique wide plank farm table. Circa late 1800s, is in wonderful antique condition, with beautiful aesthetics, sound structural integrity and overall high-quality wood charm/condition with normal signs of wear from usage(i.e. some light dings on legs and table top) The table has four casters, in very good movable working order, and measures 46.75 inches long x 25.25 inches deep x 29.75 inches high(this includes casters) The table has a hidden drawer, which easily glides in and out for storage. Each of the two planks that make up the table top is one-in-thick and is 12-plus inches wide(one is slightly more wide than the other) I am uncertain of precise wood, though it is hard wood. Note: The only evidence of table repair is some old glue drippings. Which can be found near the top of joints of two legs, but the repair was made ... moremany decades ago by a professional antique shop and does not compromise the integrity of the table's structure(see last photo for sample of glue drippings on one of the legs) This table is a gorgeous find for those who love authentic farm tables in beautiful antique condition and that are completely usable(not just for looks! Gorgeous Antique wormy wood top FARM - style dining table with carved base.
Wow! HEAVY. Solid, with some carvings and the top is burly and fabulous. This table has been in the family for decades. Sadly, as the house it lived in got sold so must the table and other items. It was originally purchased from an antique dealer in Mexico. Came from a wealthy family home there. Begging for benches around it! Seats 12 or more easily. In having someone look at the wood I could not get a definite answer of the type. We are nearly certain it is not mesquite and it could be mahogany but birch is what the grain looks like a bit. Difficult to say. The table was purchased for much more than the asking price here and then had to be shipped. The table is in good condition. Cloudy spots in the images are from the flash of the camera. The table color is the darker pictures. I've included the lighter ones in order to see the table ... moredetails better. The metal hardware used to keep one of the drop leaves up is missing. However, since the hardware is present on the other dropleaf, it should not be too difficult to replace the missing hardware. This auction is for a older vintage set of legs off an old primitive table. Legs are about 26" long and 1-3/4" square at the top. Legs have no paint or varnish. Just some a little tung oil type finish on them. You can see at the top where the wooden pegs where used to hold them in place. Early 19th. Century Antique Farm House Kitchen Table With Flour & Sugar Bins
I have for sale a rare. Primitive/ antique Farmhouse kitchen table for sale it is I believe it to be very late 18th century to early 19th. Century. I believe the wood may be oak, it measures 47" L. X 26" W. and it is 29" tall. We purchased it from an Antique dealer over 12 years ago and has served us well. It has 2 flour bins, for sugar& flour, 2 cutting boards and 2 utility drawers. Condition. Table top is worn from decades of use, cracks, chips around the edges, varnish worn off. As seen in the photos the front left one of the flour/sugar bin drawer was not pieced together not so well by previous owner, it can be restored. has expected ware all the way around. The table is sturdy and not wobbly. ANTIQUE circa 1800s WOOD SHEEP SHEARING TABLE, PRIMITIVE FARM TABLE
Up for Auction is a real nice old SHEEP SHEARING TABLE. The don't get much more primitive than this. It came out of the Pennsylvania area and I believe dates to the mid to late 1800s. The top and sides are made of a solid piece of wood that measures right at 30 3/4" wide. The sides are connected to the top by mortise and tendon joints and the cutting board and shelf are connected to the top with large old wood screws. It has a split on the top that is 45" long that was there when I bought it. The split doesn't effect the sturdiness of the table. The cutting board I believe was used to put the tools when shearing the sheep and the shelf was where the kept the tools. The lady I bought it from was using it as a coffee table. You could leave the top as is or have a piece of glass cut to sit on top. It measures 71 1/2" x ... more30 3/4" x 21 1/2" As far as shipping here are some options. Antique Harvest Farm Table - 1890's - Ohio -Original Maker's Label - Vintage
Please note the table has been invited and may be coming off auction for a week long museum show now moved to the end of August. Depicting 19th century mid-west furniture. If you are interested in the table the auction will be forced to end by this time. Antique Farmers Table. Please see maker's label in photographs. This is an authentic antique made in Ohio 1890's. I purchased it in an antique store in1990 in Ohio. I have never refinished it is in it's original state with all natural wear. This is handmade. The table top shows its wear and almost feels as smooth as glass. I believe the table may be Oak or Pine but have not ascertained the wood type. This is truly a wonderful piece. NOT a reproduction, NOT mass produced, but by a reputable furniture cabinet maker. The label is hard to discern but it is of an Ohio craftsmen possibly ... moreout of Marysville or this region in Ohio. The table is in good condition for its age but has normal fragility(the piece is over 100 years and has not been reinforced since it was in its original state and it shows no signs of repairs prior to my ownership, it would not be appropriate for heavy use but would be fine for a side table or very lightly used desk. I have performed no repairs on the table nor any staining etc. it is in its original form. It is priced well below retail as I need to find it a new home. Thank you for your consideration. This is a great piece. Probably from the mid 1800s. Solid pine? Drop leaf dining kitchen table Approximately 48"with both eaves open. And 48" wide. Without the leaves open it's approx 24" And 27" tall. It's got a great patina to it and solid. Shipping: I put a placeholder of $100 for shipping.
