It is typical to the late victorian era being made from a lovely mahogany and would look well in both an old or modern property in a small to medium sized dining room. The table can comfortably seat six people and between eight and ten people with the leaf in use. The table stands on its original castors leading to the most wonderful claw and ball foot that is at the bottom of a lovely queen ann style cabriole style leg. To the top of the leg there is also a wonderful carving. The legs are stunning. The top is in good condition with a lovely carved bull nosed edge. The wind runs smoothly and there is a leaf that is placed in the middle. The height is 74cm. The width is 134cm, 179cm with the leaf in use and the depth is 106cm. I purchased this table from an antique dealer in Statesboro. GA back in 2008. He told me that the table top wood was heart pine and came from wood that was originally part of the old Millen, GA Charm Barn. When they tore down the Charm Barn, the antique dealer managed to get some of the heart pine wood. He sent it to a wood craftsman to build the table. It measures 8'10' x 34 x 30. Chairs not Included)

AMERICAN SCRUBBED TOP BLUE PAINTED HARVEST TABLE Mid 19th Century Item# 1407FAE25P The top is crafted of three huge planks of worn pine joining eachother with tongue-in-groove construction with neat rows of iron hand forged nails affixing the top to the frame. The frame is dense yellow pine with what appears to be an early and possibly original blue painted surface. Though we are not certain of the age of the paint. The table is austere and simple in form and construction, not showing waste or embellishment beyond what is absolutely necessary to achieve desired clean lines- a thin beading is carved into the lower edge of the apron around the table. He said the table top wood was heart pine and came from wood that was originally part of the old Millen, GA Charm Barn. But the center leafs are missing. you would have to fabricate your own. Or I can give you some oak boards to do that. This table is unique it that it comes with a fifth leg that fits in the center for when you expand the table.The finish is worn off the fifth leg. This delightful scrubbed top American Painted Harvest Table is of a perfect size to compliment a hallway, as a side table or an occasional table against the wall. It remains mostly untouched after nearly two centuries of use, the finish having been refreshed at least once over the years, the structure still retaining all original blocking. The form is distinctly Neoclassical, the scrubbed top projecting over a neat frame of tenon-mortise construction resting on unembellished tapering legs. The surface is very dry and oxidized, positively magnetic in every way. It will certainly be cherished in your collection for a lifetime. Description: Here is a gorgeous piece made in the 1950s on a farm here in New Hampshire. The woman said her dad had made it for her mom for Christmas in the mid 50s. It mixes two styles that are still very popular in this area. It has the form of a Victorian plant stand with its four splayed legs and smaller lower shelf as well as the pie-crust edge to the tabletop. The legs have that modern profile to them that became popular in the late 40s to early 50s. Then the maker turned it into a tilt-top table with a through dowel hinge and the catch from an old kitchen cupboard. When you tilt the top up it shows a nicely decoupaged scene of a quaint New England Village. She told me that he used a print from a calendar for the picture. Sweet Antique Country Primitive Farm Made Small Wooden Foot Stool Toy Doll Table

Farm made, small footstool, or possibly a child's toy table? that we recently discovered at a country farm estate sale here in North Carolina. Solid wood- probably pine, Seat is roughly square shaped with slightly rounded corners. It is hand hewn out of two solid. Thick boards with two very old"z" style staples at the center. All hand made. Beneath the seat or top. There are two thick bands of wood, attached to the top with old nails. All nails show age appropriate oxidation. The four legs are pegged into these wood bands so that they are very sturdy! No wobble. Fantastic and all original surface with the perfect amount of wear in all the right places! Antique Matched Set of 4 Farm Table Legs.
These 31 inch antique farm table legs came from upper NY State and made sometime in the 19th century. They are made of old growth Floridian or Cuban mahogany which is a very rare wood now as the last old growth trees disappeared a century ago. Each leg is mortised for table rails/aprons and supports. Still solid as a rock and a wonderful 150? year old patina. 3 1/2 in. square at top. Please notice in picture there are some chipped areas and minor restorative filling on the turnings.
