I love the way they slide into the grove of the larger table and then the smallest one slides into the groove of the medium table. So it stores away nicely. When you want to use one or all, you just slide them out and when not in use its a beautiful side table, etc. There are some minor marks on the outside edes and a few minor pieces of venear missing in spots on the sides, but nothing at all major. Antique Empire Marble & Brass Living Room Table Set, Coffee & End Tables
Please read shipping details before purchasing! Circa 1940's. This amazing living room set is the quintessential hollywood regency decor for any vintage inspired home. The three piece set is in amazingly EXCELLENT condition! Each piece features a three legged empire design. Pillared on a black wooden base the legs of each piece are made of black metal and brass. The tables are made of wood with removable genuine Italian Carrara marble tops. The largest piece of marble is signed. I didn't check for a stamp on the underside of the marble on the end tables. But the set is all original matching marble) The edges of the tables have a brass trim. The lamps are removable as well and both are in working condition(see photo below of lights on) with their original wiring and cords(see photo below) To hook up the lamps you twist two wires together ... moreto make the electrical connection. I have the original caps to the wire ends as well(see last photo) The flaws on the set are minuscule. There are a few small chips to the black paint on the table legs(see photos) You can touch this up in seconds, or leave it as is. No one would even notice. Auction includes both of the end tables pictured. Age unknown but older vintage ornate glass top end tables like no other. Wrought iron tables with leaf and flower top covered with a thick glass insert. Tables measure approximately 12" x 12" wide x 23" wide. Has light wear as pictured. Great condition for its age. So ornate and detailed- outstanding. There are a few minor scratches to the glass tops but I do not consider them serious. No chips or cracks in thick. Tempered glass tops. Absolutely gorgeous hand carved tables with inlaid tops. They are each 21" high. And 21" wide. The tops lift off the bases, and the bases fold flat for easy shipping. They are intricately carved with a leaf motif. Marked India. They are fairly heavy and sturdy feeling, despite how delicate the carving. No cracks or repairs. We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of antique nightstands or side tables. This pair dates to around 1940. They are made of mahogany and have been painted white and distressed. The pair are elegant and sleek with a low profile. They feature a two tier design with open backs. They are French styled. Art Deco era, and have elongated lower sections with curved fronts. There have decorative square, raised wood pieces on the skirt of the lower tier. These have been left in the original finish to contrast with the paint. The legs are lovely in Duncan Phyfe style. Fashioned in the Louis XVIth style. They have reeded legs, with the original castors, soft rounded reeded sides and rounded edges. The drawer fronts are embellished with lovely hand carved florals and rondels. Detailed florals figure on the metal knobs of both the drawers and doors. The drawers are very nicely dovetailed- a sign of quality craftmanship. Hand carved florals also figure on the four corners ... moreof the 2 doors. They retain the original bevelled marble tops which are a soft tannish/dessert sand( color with dramatic veining- would compliment many color palettes. These nightstands are in very good antique condition. The marble tops have no cracks or stains. There are a few tiny chips along the edges of both- barely discernible. There is some fading on the sides of the stands. The interiors of the cabinets retain the original white glass/enamel. There is cracking to the glass/enamel lining inside one cabinet and a line crack on the shelf of one cabinet(refer to photos) All that being said. These cabinets really are in wonderful condition, especially considering the age. They are very sturdy. The doors and drawers function easily. They were very well taken care of. Wheels for Antique Dressers Washstands Tables Anything Requiring 4 Wood Casters
Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. 4 Antique Bassick Mfg Cast Iron caster wheels for industrial carts tables match
This auction is for 4 matching antique caster cart/table wheels manufactured by Bassick. They are heavy duty and the wheels measure a big 5" across with the mounting plate at 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" Each wheel is stamped"U.S.A. 561" BASSICK" and also the patent stamp of"1815062 PAT" as can be seen in the photos. All 4 wheels spin and rotate freely and as you can see I have not cleaned them and they are in the original condition as they were acquired.
