Legs are sturdy design, have a low center of gravity, with all the original hardware including the original solid glass spacers and brass fittings. Put your cherub lamps on top or any lamp that is. Lower level for everything else you want by your side. Safe assembly takes about 10-15 minutes each table if you do it alone, I recommend that you assemble upside down no matter how you do it. We are pleased to offer this EXTRAORDINARY. UNIQUE set of antique, older vintage, nesting tables. The tables are mahogany and date to the late 1940s or very early 1950s. The set includes 3 tables, all of which are in their original painted finish. The tables have a French Provincial/Country design and are quite unique in that the smaller table has a different leg design than the larger two tables. Additionally, the table tops are different, not only in the painted design, but also in their shape. The largest table is oval. The two smaller tables are rectangular with rounded front and back profiles. The two larger tables have fluted column legs with a tassel shaped foot detail. The smallest table has Duncan Phyfe style legs. The Duncan Phyfe table has beautiful brass claw feet with an incised, feathered detail. It also features a center column ... morewith carved acanthus leaves. When the tables are assembled, they have a very unique appearance. The tables are finished in an antiqued cream color with visible wood grain. They are accented with a band of light green around the outer edges which is highlighted with a gold border. The largest table top features painted floral swags on each side. The flowers are very nicely detailed. They are pink and cream with green leaves. They have aprons with a beaded wood trim. The tables are notched so that they fit together perfectly. The tables retain their original manufacturer's tag. The tables were manufactured by IMPERIAL, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Imperial was noted for their fine mahogany furniture and these tables are no exception. The tables are numbered 4550 so they were either manufactured in 1945 or in 1950. Imperial closed their production in 1954. The set is fairly rare as Imperial did not manufacture many pieces with this finish or design. The tables are in very good condition. They have hand carved swags of flowers with leaves on each side of a center leg with a lion head ending with a paw foot. The other two feet are carved in scrolls. They have rose beveled marble tops. The carved swags have old repairs on the back, and a few old age splits. See pictures. They are strong and sturdy. The old repairs do not show in the front. The marble has no chips or cracks. 6 Antique Mahogany Turned Stretchers - Tables, Chairs, Projects - Double Vase
Offered for Auction: Set of 6 Mahogany Turned Furniture Stretchers. The turned stretchers/legs/decorative elements were salvaged long before we found them so I am uncertain what type of furniture they came off of. They are in as found condition(I cleaned the heavy dust off of them but have not oiled or re-touched them) and they are still dirty. They have a double vase and modified ring profile which I'm calling Classical. However I cannot put my finger on the exact style. I believe the ends are turned rather than doweled, however I am not an expert and they are at various heights as shown(a few are quite shallow) There is minimal wear and tear and I am uncertain of their age or origin. They are very lightweight. Condition: Good given their age. There are scratches. Nicks, dings and worn spots. The grain is a bit raised and the finish ... moreis dull and there is dust in the grooves. The color varies a little from piece to piece. Some of the ends are chewed up. Antique Italian Marble top and wood base Coffee Table with End tables.
These tables were purchased by me in Livorno. Italy in 1973. They have traveled the world with me as I completed a 30 year military career. They were build in the same tradition for over a hundred years at this shop. The creamy white marble has streaks of brown. The bases are of a hard wood and stained like a dark oak lacquer finish. The top of the coffee table has had a crack after the move to Texas, but it has been repaired. The bases are in excellent condition and only need a light touch of furniture oil. They are heavy and shipping would be expensive, so I offer then as Pick-up only for free. If you want shipping, they would require special packaging and handling. If want it shipped the cost would be extra. The marble tops easily lift our of a pocket in the top to the tables. The measurement from the floor to the top of the marble tops ... moreis 18 inches(for all three pieces) The end tables are 22 inches square for outside edge of the wood work to outside edge of the wood work. The marble inserts are about 19.5 inches square and 1.5 inch thick. The coffee table is 22 by 41 inches outside edge of wood work to outside edge of wood work. The coffee table slab is about 19.5 by 39.5 inches and again about 1.5 inch thick. Shipping of the wooden bases would be much less. Since most of the weight is in the marble. I am guessing that the bases without the marble tops would weigh about 100 pounds at most for all three pieces. Probable shipping would be two boxes about 48" x 24" by 20" at 60 pounds each. Stunning pair of old world carved wooden pedestal columns. Perfect for plants or works of art. The base appears to be mahogany. The column walnut. I can't be sure. They are beautifully carved. Each column is 60" in height. Each round base is 15" in diameter with three round wooden feet measuring 3 1/8" The column narrows from 8" diameter near the base. To 4" at the neck. The coupe shape top surface is 8 1/2" wide. Blemishes are pictured and include a 9 inch unrepaired crack at the base of one of the columns. This same column also has a 2" finish blemish as pictured. They don't look new or perfect. As little dings over the ages have given them unequaled character. Each column weighs approximately 30 lbs. This is a gorgeous pair of antique Louis XV style tables. They are in good condition. They measure about 19" wide x 28 1/4" tall. One of the tables top seems to be a little loose. But other than that, these are very sturdy. They have tons of gorgeous ormolu and very unique busts on the bottom legs of the tables. Beautiful marquetry work on the tops. The designs are different on each of the tops. I have had a consultation on these tables around October 2012 from J. Carmen, Inc. in Little Rock, AR. Here is the information she gave me: In examining these images I can tell you that these tables are definitely reproductions. Crafted in the Louis XV style. It is always a bit difficult to fully ascertain dates from photos, but it is clear to me that these date no earlier than the 1880s and probably not later than the 1930s. The family that owned them originally was in top management at the Anaconda Copper Mine Co. in Butte. They certainly caught my eye along with 2 antique dealers and we battled it out. I have enjoyed using them in my home however I have shifted to a more Danish Modern style. I know that someone out there would appreciate them more. Perhaps you? RARE ANTIQUE MIDDLE EAST MAHOGANY ROSEWOOD CARVED NESTING TABLES (4) BRASS INLAY
We are pleased to offer this beautiful set of 4 nesting tables. The tables date to the early half of the 20th century and are of Middle Eastern origin. The tables are solid rosewood or mahogany with a medium to dark stained finish. There is no veneer. The tables feature superbly carved table top perimeters. Inside the carved sections are lavish and intricate medallions which are created using inlaid brass. The tables are old and constructed using flat screws. Because of their handmade design. You will notice that the brass borders are not completely straight in all areas. These were not machine made. They fit together nicely as a group or can be used individually. The smallest table has a single drawer with the inlaid brass present on the drawer face. The tables are heavy and well made. They are in very good antique condition. Two of the ... moretables have a loose section of brass that can be tacked into place. There are no missing brass sections. There are a few, minor, surface nicks that are not severe or distracting. They do add to the aged character of the tables but can be resolved if you so desire. This is an elaborate set of extremely nice construction and beauty. The tables measure as follows in descending order: Table#1 is 20" tall. 19.75" wide and 11.5" deep. Table#2 is 19.5" tall, 17.75" wide and 11" deep. Table#3 is 18.5" tall, 16" wide and 11" deep. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique. French style, side tables. The tables are OLD with wood dowel attachments and date to the late 19th Century or very early 20th Century. They are walnut with intricate inlay and marquetry tops. The table apron is ornately carved. It is accomplished in 3 curved, carved sections with a wooden spacer in between each section. The pair feature gorgeous Duncan Phyfe legs with hand carved details. This is an elegant pair of old tables. They are in very good condition with expected signs of age. There are a couple of chips on the table tops and a very slight bubble in one area of the veneer on one table top. These are neither severe or distracting and the tops are beautiful. Antique Pair of Tilt Top Tables Pie Crust Mahogany? Walnut? Candle Wine Tables
Pair of antique. Very old tilt top wine or candle tables or stands. Looks like someone attempted to fix one of them with some type of sheet metal. These tables belonged to a woman in her'80s from Virginia who said they were in her family for a very long time. Approximate size is 12 inches wide by 19 inches high. The wood looks to be either mahogany or walnut. Please refer to photos and all questions are welcome.

Mahogany Nesting tables originally sold by Hathaway's Furniture in New York during the 1920's to 1940's. The tables tuck neatly into each other which make them perfect for a living room or study. They are in vintage condition with some faint scratches from normal use. The small table has the original stickers. Set Of 3 Antique Vintage Hand Carved Chinese Oriental Nesting Tables
Estate fresh is this extremely detailed set of three hand carved vintage nesting tables with an oriental design on the tops and skirts. Large table measures 16" wide x 12 deep x 20 1/2" tall. Medium table is 12 1/2" wide x 11" deep x 16 1/2" tall. And the small table measures 9 1/2" square x 12 1/2" tall. The large and medium table both have a piece of glass over the center, but the small table needs a 8" x 8" piece which you can get cut at most hardware stores. Each table is intricately carved and depict a ships figurehead on the front leg. They stand 2 feet tall. Measure 24" from left to right and are 11 1/4" deep at the widest/deepest part.
