Capable of seating six people comfortably when it is fully opened. The mahogany leaves are single solid boards with reeding along the edges that mirrors the legs, each hanging on original hand forged iron hinges to easily swing up and down. A flamed mahogany veneer completes the apron of the table. The table has six legs, an expensive feature that was time consuming and reserved for a more affluent client. It allows the table to remain firmly rooted while the leaves are extended, truly making it a fully functional dining table. The legs swing over knuckle joints formed of solid oak. Antique Pembroke Drop Leaf Table w/ 2 Drawers Eastlake Style
Uncommon antique Eastlake drop leaf table in the Pembroke style. This piece has a gently curved table top with molded edges and squared corners. Each side of the table has its own drawer with an ornate brass bail handle pull. An applied fret-carved design accents the area under each drawer and is mirrored in the carved brackets below. The legs are braced by X-shaped stretchers with a simple pierced decoration. When extended. The hinged drop leaves are supported by slide out wooden pieces. This beautiful table is made from a fine-grained wood- most likely walnut- and has a medium dark finish a wonderful aged patina. The table is in good antique condition. For your consideration. I am offering an antique doll, toy or salesman's sample drop leaf table. This wonderful little piece is 13 1/4" x 12 1/2" with the leaves down x 11 1/4" tall. When the leaves are raised, it is 22 1/2" long. The top has a separation of the wood 1" inward, and a repaired corner. On the underside, new screws have been added on one hinge. Gorgeous Antique Tiger Oak Drop Leaf Gate Leg Table
This is a very good condition tiger oak drop leaf gate leg table. I was unable to find a maker anywhere on the table. It appears to be early 20th century. There are no major cracks or broken parts on the table. There is an nseen repair board underneath that can be seen in the picture. It does have the usual petina of an antique table but as you can see is in great shape. The table measures 39" wide x 30" long x 29" tall when open and is 14" wide when closed. I cannot see any major flaws to point out to you, other than it needs a good cleaning. I do know its very important how and what you use to clean these antiques, and so I am leaving that up to its new owner. An Antique most likely dating to the 1890's Solid Oak Table. in primitive as found condition. a very unique table. folded up it measures 44 by 29 inches. It has a leaf at each end that folds up to make an oval table that measures 48 by 60 inches. It will then expand to make a table that measures 44 by 96 inches. But the center leafs are missing. you would have to fabricate your own. Or I can give you some oak boards to do that. This table is unique it that it comes with a fifth leg that fits in the center for when you expand the table.The finish is worn off the fifth leg. This table comes from the Amish Area of Holmes County Ohio. Dose not talk up much room but expands for a super big party. A super early americana farm find. Please ask questions. BEAUTIFUL! Vintage antique dining room set: Drop leaf table in its smallest form measures approximately 24 in. wide by 42 in. deep. Opened without any leaves measures approximately 58 in. long by 42 in. wide. Has two(2) 12 in. original leaves and one smaller makeshift 10 in. leaf that make the table a maximum length of 92 in. long.almost 8 ft. Has 4 double curved legs with claw feet and brass toe caps. The table and leaves are in very nice condition with no major scratches. Comes with a 2 piece. Thick felt table cover protector. Set of six(6) dining chairs are Victorian style with curved legs. Padded upholstered seats and ornately carved backs(please see closeup picture) The fabric on the seats is cream/off-white colored(a little darker than the pictures show) with light rose/pink colored flowers. The fabric on the seats is in really good ... morecondition with no rips or tears, but there are some spots and they could use a good shampooing/cleaning. Overall all the wood on the chairs is also in very nice condition as well. PLEASE NOTE: The back on one of the chairs has broken in half horizontally, but can very easily be fixed. I will leave that up to the buyer who can probably do a better job than myself. This dining set has been in the family for many generations and has been taken very good care of over the years. A beautiful dark solid wood(I think it is Walnut but I'm not sure) table with five legs. Hand turned legs. It is a farm table that opens up with four leaves. It is untouched and in its original state. Americana. Ring mark on it that adds to its beauty. The legs are carved pillars. Very sturdy. It makes a great accent piece and is functional to open. Up for large events. I have it in my country kitchen. It draws a lot of attention. Rustic but elegant. 43"inches wide. 23"inches deep with sides down. 28"inches tall. 53"inches.
