The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. I did some research and found no other desk or drafting tables that compares to this unrestored pc. I think it had been stored for years and has a great patina consistent with the age and use. The wood has ink stains, small surface scratches, all marks are minor please examine photos closely. I'm sure it will clean up beautifully and will add class and charm to any home, office, or museum. We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. For sale is this great antique Drawing Table. It was designed by E. Gleaves of Cortland NY. And patented Oct. 17 1882. Nice old patina on the oak. On one side shown in the pictures a piece of the cast iron must of broke a while back. This was remedied by a metal bar bolted on that now supports the iron adjustment for the larger table top. The larger top is 25" x 17 1/2" the smaller top is 18" x 12 1/2" The reason for the two sides was one was a working surface and the other was used to secure the object you were drawing. There was at one time a spring mechanism that would of gone in the holes of the smaller top. Both sides can adjust and the piece was made to be folded up and stored. It stands approx. 31" high. Antique SteamPunk Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Table w foot rest 1894 60" Top
This is not only an amazing piece of American Industrial Age history but a usable drafting table. Artists desk. The desk top is 60 inches by 39 inches and has a great catch lip so that if you tilt it for storage you can leave your pens etc. Marked patent March 6, 1894 The base is 26 inches wide. The foot rest is 43 1/2 inches by 5 inches. The foot rest is a really great feature. The height of the table is adjustable by just about eight inches. So where I have the base at 37 inches high I think it is meant to be adjust from about 32 to 40 inches which probably gives you a standard 42 inch table height. This table came to me in this formation from another artist. So if there were other accessories or mechanics I am not aware of what they may have been. Someone had also added a piece of wood well before my time to stabilize the one height clamp ... morebar. I replaced the top screws for ease of adjusting the table top. As you can see it goes from fully flat to an upright position with any angle in between. It stores upright for space saving in a studio. It has obvious signs of age and use by artists, with pin holes, paint marks etc. This is awesome for an 119 year old working artist table. It can be refinished, and the hardware replaced or used as it is. A great piece of furniture for a loft or studio space. I haven't used it in a decade and I need to downsize. ANTIQUE PEDESTAL DRAFTING TABLE. OAK AND IRON, ADJUSTABLE Nice example of this pedestal drafting table. We think it's by Dietzgen. But don't yet find a maker's mark. The original oak top remains. Which is itself hard to find these days. Looks like it was given a black limed-oak finish, which together with the black Japanned cast iron looks pretty sharp. Looks like an artist worked at this table once, there's a bit of dusky blue along the bottom edge. All together, I thought this was a nice'lived in' look for this piece while staying clean& subdued and dark, so I've left it as is, just gave it a good cleaning and waxing. These pedestal drawing tables are absolutely fab. And getting very rare and pricey it seems. They are everything this great era sought to convey; classical solidity, extremely well-crafted classic ... moreforms but with all the ingenuity combined with the cast-iron glory that characterized the Victorian Industrial furnishings. The knobs are awesome, tightens in a bunch of different ways; height up& down, with or without swiveling, tilting, flat, etc. This table is eminently flexible for all kinds of different uses. NO RESERVE AUCTION To those of you who had bid on this auction I apologize for pulling it. I hope you have found it again. I pulled the ad because I needed to make some changes. I like to be very upfront about my items. Nothing worse than an item not being as described. Opening a new package should be exciting not frustrating. The change was is a small repair made to the table top. While moving the table one of my employees caused a crack in the wood to get worse. This caused a one inch section on the edge to become loose. I glued the piece and clamped it over night. Its as strong as ever. I left a thin layer of glue on the wood so it showed up it pics. If the buyer wants the table top saned clean I can do this before shipping it. The table is stored in a lumber warehouse and all the tools are available. You can see the streak of glue in ... morethe pics. Now. Back to the ad. Another great find from my warehouse clean out. This is an A. Hoffman Co. drafting table in good antique condition. Its 34 1/2" tall with the tabletop laid flat. Its 30 7/8" wide and 23" deep. The base is in excelent condition. It looks to be complete with all matching hardware that looks to be original. It has no dents or rust of any kind and everything moves. Turns and swivels as it should. The table top is in fair condition and is in solid condition with no broken of loose pieces. It does have some small cracks in the wood but they don't effect the structural integrity. The biggest negative I see with this table are the small holes all over the top. It looks like someone used this as a dart board. They don't go all the way through, their just little dart pricks. I will post picks of all the issues I see so please look closely at them. Antique Cast Iron Wood Adjustable Drafting Table Vintage Steampunk Industrial
Antique Drafting Table An all-original cast iron and wood drawing stand/drafting table. The solid wood top measures 21¼" x 23¼" and tilts up and lies flat. With the table flat the adjustable height is from approximately 23" to 41½" above finished floor. I cannot read what the company name on the label but it was made in Chicago. Everything works well and the condition is good with minor imperfections due to age and wear with minor oxidation and usage marks in the wood. The cast iron is free from chips, breaks or repairs and has some minor paint loss.

The top of the work table has shallow scratches. Other than that, this piece is in good condition and moves freely to tilt. There are two spots on the base that seem to be where a plate or tag of some sort was attached by the manufacturer. One is circular like that used by Frederick Post company, the other is rectangular(please see photos) however I cannot find anywhere indicating the manufacturer, although the style is similar to Post tables. I am unsure of the type of wood, it looks like oak, but the base is a bit darker than the top, unless the top has been refinished at some point. Up for auction is a huge vintage industrial hydraulic drafting table. A barber stool style with hydaulic pump, raise and release, lock buttons, all working! This table consist of steel upper structure and cast Iron base. the top measures 7' long x 44' wide, height if set as table top is 44' the base measures 26' dia. The ring on outer part of the base apears to have nickel plate although most is worn with slight surface rust and paint show sign of ware. The table has a oak adjustable top that goes up and down. Tilts, and will swivel around 360 degrees. The oak top looks to be in it's orig. finish, but has some paint spots here and there. There is a small flip down tray at the bottom edge of the top. The base is cast iron and painted black. It has four leg that support it. The top measures 18" by 24" and has metal lips on both sides to keep items on top from sliding off they can also be adjusted down so they are even with top. Cast iron base measures 111/2" at the back and 143/4" at the front and 20 inches long. It has castors on one end that make moving it around easy. The top will adjust from 25" high to 40" high. K&E K & E Keuffel Esser Antique Vintage Drafting Table American Eagle Cast Iron
Nice Vintage K& E New York Drafting Table Table top measures 36 x 52. I think its pine wood; pine is easy to push pins into. This is how the paper was held on the table. In the middle of the back of the tabletop. Keuffel& Esser New York is embossed/branded in a circle. The cast iron is embossed with Keuffel& Esser Co. New York. the casting wasn't great because some of the letters in Esser appear to be missing. See pics. This has the patina of many years of use and stories to tell. Complete with pinholes at the corners of where paper was held. Top and footrest are original. This must have been painted over the years. But the off-white paint is starting to crackle, so its old. Mike Wolf and Frank at Antique Archaeology would say not to strip and paint this as I wanted to do. So I am leaving that up to the next owner. I did put ... morea light coat of tung oil on the tabletop so the wood wouldn't dry out. The bottom original oak footrest has a light coat of furniture oil on it. It can be used as a table as the top. Will rest completely flat and it will also rotate 90 degrees to standing vertical. It could even be a nice art display with the board at an angle. The base is solid cast iron. These were built to last hundreds of years. In the pic you will see furniture rollers on the bottom of the feet- they are not part of the auction. When this was sold in the mid to late 1800's there were options for adding side drawers and shelves. I don't have either of those. But they were an extra when this table was ordered so they arent necessarily"missing" This 230# table cost $32.00 when it was new. The middle wheel moves the tabletop up and down freely. The base lowers to about 36" height at the lowest. It can go up to about 46" or so. Some of the original screws are missing. As is the spreader bar in the back. I am looking for the pieces in my basement(or a replacement) and when I find it. I will update this listing. I have the plastic rulers for the front and the strings for them. If

Cast Iron Antique Drafting Table Base! Adjustable Typewriter Stand Or Easle
I'm selling this beautiful cast-iron drafting table base. It is adjustable: it goes up and down for adjustable height and you can change the angle of the table. Only the base is included. This could be used as a kitchen table base or possibly even as a semipermanent easel for a painter. It has been repainted recently. It is black a fresh black color. Giving it a like new look. There is some scratching near the feet, but it still has a nice shine. This is too heavy and too fragile to ship safely. So for now it is pick up only. I can meet you I. ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL DRAFTING TABLE MADE BY A. HOFFMAN COMPANY Outstanding antique industrial drafting table made by A. Hoffman Company(Rochester. NY) The base is marked“Pat D April 28 Dec 20 1910” The middle of the base is also stamped Peerless. It is a cast iron tripod, fully adjustable with four knuckle knobs. The distance between each tripod leg is 26 inches. The height is adjustable from 30-47" There are a few scuffs but it seems to be original paint. I believe the wood board to also be original.

Antique Wood Industrial Drafting Hospital Table Adjustable Tilt Iron Base Stand
Nice Vintage Multi-Purpose Table! This piece from the 30's/40's could be re-purposed into a laptop table. Nightstand or a multitude of other items. The base alone is a really nice piece of twisted iron with decorative embellishments. The top is original and does show wear with scratches and scuffs. There also seems to be a piece missing for the tilt mechanism. It is still possible to adjust the position but it can be a"finger biter" if care isn't taken in moving the spring. Antique Oak Slant Top Desk Drafting Railroad Student Work Industrial Table
For sale is a very nice oak desk with slant top and two drawers. It is 5 feet long and is probably early 1900s. These desks are hard to come by. About 2 feet deep. 3 feet 5 inches at the highest point. The legs are bolted on and so can be removed relatively easily. There are a couple of cracks in the legs- one repaired and the other does not need repair. I am not sure of the original intended purpose of this desk. Some describe it as a railroad desk. Also school or teachers desk. Drafting desk. It is great looking. Though. There are two holes in the top for some sort of cylinders, maybe pens or drafting tools. There are three small holes drilled in a side panel perhaps for wiring of sorts, not sure. Located in Irvine. California. Pick up only. I'll drop at shipper but will not pack.
