The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. Vintage Antique Architects Drafting Table with Industrial Cast Iron Base
This Cast Iron Architect’s Table has a 36 in. by 42 in. wood top. The base is 27 ½ in. by 37 in. with an overall length of 43 in. when measured at the handle. The height extends from about 38 in. to 48 in. and the surface can be tilted. About a hundred years old. It is in good sturdy working condition with these signs of wear: The wood top is solid with marks, scuffs, and stains with a very slight warp to the surface. The base has paint loss and a tight crack in the casting that does not affect its function or strength. One locking handle was replaced by a bolt and can be adjusted with a wrench. A foot has a chip on the bottom but is still sturdy. The handle was not painted and may be an early replacement. Please look at the photos for condition and email any questions. This auction is for an authentic antique drafting table from the early 1900's. Used by a city engineer throughout the first half of the 20th century the table has an industrial quality to it. The base is made of solid. Sturdy oak and the top is traditionally made of pine. There are a number of heavy cast iron wing nuts and glides used for adjusting its angle and height. This drafting table is fully adjustable and can be tilted along an approximately 320 degree axis. For sale is another one of the best drafting tables I've ever had. There is a tag on the back of the board but I don't think that is the maker of the base although not sure. The top is 22" x 26" and it raises from 31" to 43" It has its original finish to the metal. There is loss of paint but you can still see the pinstriping. It raises up and down with the wheel. The tap screw in the gear works ok but may need to be replaced in the future, very minor. I don't know if the top has been refinished but it has a nice look with some staining. We are both artists and this table has been in the family since we lived in Brooklyn, NY a LONG time ago. The table is located on Long Island NY. I am selling it for us, but am located in COLORADO. The best sale would be a local pickup but it CAN be shipped for a freight fee which I imagine would be at least $100 UPS, I would have to get a rate. I have seen a similar table listed with a flat 200. shipping in 48 lower states. This is a drafting table my dad picked up. He was the first antique collector in the family. It ended up in a sunroom of my childhood home where I sat for hours, painting and drawing and looking out any one of the windowed walls onto the nearby bay. We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. There are some minor nicks and dings from use, but again, nothing too obvious or distracting. There is one screw cover that is missing on the back of the desk(see ... morephoto 10) The desk is sturdy and the screws can be tightened if they loosen. Antique Drafting Table and Chair Set circa early 1900's
A beautiful and rare antique Drafting Table and Chair set. Manufacturer unknown. Ones I've seen similar and from historic photo's appeared around 1900- 1930's. It is very rare to find the chair and table together. I have been using it for the last 20 years and am downsizing. The table is 5'Long x 3'Deep and 3' High adjustable to 4' High. It also will tilt to 45 degrees. The original pulleys where the wires for the drafting apparatus went are still there. Some of the original wheel style adjustment nuts are missing. And I replaced them with standard nuts and bolts. I have seen reproductions of the original nuts that are available on the internet though. The chair is 3' Tall and adjusts to about 3'6" It was given to me by a friend whose Dad worked in Frank Lloyd Wright's Larkin Building in Downtown ... moreBuffalo. NY. This gorgeous antique drafting table has 6 drawers and is finished on all sides so its beauty can be appreciated all the way around. This would be an excellent addition to any studio or office space. Overall measurements are 36" wide x 27 3/4" deep by 40 3/4" high. the six drawers are 19 3/4" x 7 7/8" in their interior. The 4th drawer from the top has a small slice on the outside panel. Up for sale is a beautiful original cast iron tilting tripod base for a drafting table. It does not appear to have been repainted and it is in its original shade of green. The first is a huge wooden drafting table or desk with a slightly slanted front and pen slot(the top does not lift but is slightly sloped) The desk measures approximately 72" or 6' across. 38 1/2" high and 33 1/3" deep and comes in two pieces which are pegged together. The desk has three large functioning drawers across the front, each with a key hole(and no, I don't have the keys) It is in nice condition with great patina, though the top has some staining. I am selling the desk together with an antique Mission oak style pool hall chair. The pieces aren't matched, but they work well together. Antique Oak Edwardian Drawing Drafting Table Solid Oak Adjustable Steam Punk
Antique very early 1900's Edwardian period drawing or drafting board. Solid Oak and fully adjustable as well as fully collapsible which can be disassembled and packaged to save on shipping costs. It is the original oak finish and patina. It adjusts up and down by turning the 5 point star handle and sliding the side up. The drawing surface has a pencil ledge and the hardware at the bases are very large brass screws. This is a very sturdy and very unique piece. One such as I have never seen before. I truly believe it is Edwardian in circa and period. Approximately 48" tall fully extended with board in drawing position and approximately 36" across.

The top is two articulated oak pieces measuring about 26-1/4" wide x 29" overall The drafting/drawing surface measures approximately 26-1/4" wide x 22" The storage surface measures approximately 26-1/4" wide x 7" The drafting/drawing surface tilts from horizontal(level) to almost fully vertical. The storage surface is designed to always remains horizontal so supplies don't roll off. Although none seriously affect the utility or appearance of the piece: A couple of the screws attaching the hinges to the two working surfaces(the underside) are not original and have been replaced. The base may have originally had wheels as there are holes for them in the feet. Paint on base is crazed(see pictures) and there is some chipping consistent with its age. Antique Cast Iron Drafting Table Tripod Base With 1880's Podium Top
Really unique combo of items. The bottom is an adjustable cast iron drafting table base and the top is a portable podium/lectern. The top is about 25" wide and 20" long. It is in great shape with nice lines. It has a tray for pencils and a ledge to catch and hold papers. I think it's a tiger oak or something along those lines. I don't know my wood types real well. The base is a cast iron drafting table tripod with wheels. It adjusts from about 25" to 40" tall. The top can swivel around and adjusts from a level position to about 135 degrees. There is a round handle which when loosened and tighten will adjust the angle of the drafting table. The drafting table has been fitted with a thick mat but the wood under the mat should look similar to the wood under the drafting table as can see by one of the photos. So if you wanted to remove the map and stain the table top I am sure it would look beautifull. The drafting table was painted green so I speculate at some point in time it was used by a military unit. These cast iron drafting tables are getting harder and harder to find.
