Up for auction is a 1930 Crosley antique tube radio model Chum in a medium dark walnut low boy console with grooved front pillars. Decorative wood carvings and a shadow box dial in brass escutcheon. This is a 6 tube AM radio with upward speaker and three rotary controls for on/off. Volume and tuning. Radio was fully recapped. Tubes tested and replaced as needed. New dial light. Power cord and external antenna were installed. Chassis was cleaned and controls lubricated. Reception is weak and limited to 3-4 strong AM stations at a low volume. Radio is being sold AS IS. Spectacular& rare customized antique side table Check out the stunning gorgeous walnut flame/burl grains on the top.incredible beauty which was hidden under a failed opaque finish I restored this table using my own special black distressed hand rubbed finish.The entire finish was hand restored including hand scraping& sanding the top. By design. I left nicks, dings, veneer chips, and character marks in the wood prior to restoration. You can see the beautiful chestnut colors show through the hand rub distressed black finish. I sealed the black with hand rubbed varnish as a glaze to provide a special depth and beauty. The table dates from Circa 1920.the Kiel company operated their second plant in Milwaukee. Wisconsin between 1912-1932 Made by Kiel Furniture Company of Milwaukee. There was no need for the sides/legs to be removable, so I chose to make it much more solid I love the original trim around the edges of the top. It has great details The top is made from a 4 way matched(4 pieces of veneer matched together)walnut burl veneer.I hand rubbed 10 coats of varnish to achieve the incredible luster and depth which showcases the walnut wood.there are small natural cracks& a few tiny dings in the center of the top burled area.all character is consistent with its age. Philco 48 Antique Console Tube Radio Phonograph Time machine
This time machine has a working am radio and can play records as well. One issue I had. I tried putting the dial to the year1400 and it wouldn't take me back into time. No auxiliary input to plug my phone in and no Bluetooth connectivity. Wtf! Its a great looking and working phonograph and radio and that's about it. Its made of wood and some metal parts but I can't find the flux capacitor anywhere. Hence why I'm not going to ever meet Doc Brown or Marty McFly. But this would make a great show piece for one lucky time traveler!

Authentic antique french XVI style gilt marble-top console sideboard table stand
Measures 33 1/2" tall X 44 1/2" wide/long X 12" deep. White removable marble slab is 3/4" thick. This is an antique from probably before 1900 made in the Louis XVI style. It belonged to my great grandmother who lived to be 100 and died close to 20 years ago. I have included a photo of similar items(although not old and do not have detail and without marble) which sold on One Kings Lane recently. One for over $3,000. This is a vintage lamp/planter that is about 9 1/4" long. And 5 5/8" at the highest point. The planter opening is 2 5/8" by 1 3/4" There are at least 3 hairline cracks around the top of the planter opening, but I cannot tell if they are deep, or simply in the glaze. There are also a few dark specks in the glaze, and a bit of crazing on the back. Otherwise, I see no other significant chips or cracks. This old phonograph belonged to my Great Aunt. I have held on to it for many years with the intent of having it fixed up but instead have just used it for storage. This is a vintage Antique Console Radio made in 1931 by RCA Victor Co. It is a 1931 Victor R-50 radio. The beautiful wooden cabinet stands 42" tall x 27" wide and 14" deep. The exterior has been cleaned but not stripped or refinished. It has the original oil finish. Not varnished. I'm sure the radio doesn't work because there are several tubes missing but I have never plugged it in to find out. The interior hasn't been touched and has many rows of large vacuum tubes. A most charming antique. Circa 1890's, unmarked, Austrian or Bohemian porcelain centerpiece console, possibly by Royal Dux. A group figurine of two ladies with cupid rests into the center pedestal of the console bowl. It is nicely hand matte enamel painted and gilt traceried. The console interior is pearl luster glaze. The ensemble measures 17" tall by 13" wide by 8" deep. The console is perfect. The cupid has a broken off half wing, one lady with restored arm, and a chip to leaf on base.

Here is a very nice looking Zenith console radio. It's a model 9-S-367 from 1939 and was known as the Zephyr because of it's strong machine age appearance. It's a big radio and really gets your attention. From the wrap around grille bars to the large shutter dial with radiorgan tone and station push buttons it's real looker. Cabinet was refinished using stain. Toners and lacquers that show off the beautiful grains in the veneers. Radio does play with good volume and tone and gets many stations on AM, I did not try the shortwave band. The station push buttons and tone buttons work, the 8 buttons on left are station presets, the 8 on the right include 2 for on/off and 6 for tone control. Shutter dial opens and closes as it should. Green tuning eye works but is a little dim. It is missing the the plastic tone and station tabs ... morebut reproductions are available. Shutter dial has some crazing in finish. The round tuning knob is warped. Has a few minor scratches or scuffs, one small veneer chip on top at rear edge. I know it's hard to buy a radio like this unseen so I have included many large detailed photos below, I will also be happy to answer any questions you have. Due to the large size of this item it is pickup only, it's located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. This is an historic and very desirable radio since it was the very first console ever made by RCA. It measures an impressive 50 inches tall x 25 inches wide x 19 inches deep. Tilting the front panel forward reveals the 6 finger sized UV-199 tubes. Inside is a large horn that leads to the grill. The bottom portion contains an antenna that is adjusted by a dial. This radio is untested. It has a very nice original finish and both the top and bottom panels for the back. There is a minor flaw on the front upper left corner where the wood took a hit and was cracked pointing slightly downward and there is a dent in the wood at the top just behind the banged corner. Oscar Wilde A Wonderful c.1850 Italian Rococo Revival Ebonised Figural& Marble Topped Console Table Period: Mid Nineteenth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c.1850-60 Height: 35.75 inches(with marble) Width: 42 inches(with marble) Depth: 17.5 inches(with marble) All at maximum) The ebonised figural console architectural table having a serpentine demi-lune inset white carrera figured marble top mounted over a above a conforming reticulated frieze well carved with flower heads and interlinking ribbons. With central carved scallop shell over the main figurehead type cabriole leg support carved as a putto terminating in a scrolled end with resting finial survives from mid-nineteenth century Italy. Condition ... morewise there is a rear flank six-inch section of the frieze that is a later replacement and the frieze as a whole has some mouldings that are later and some losses. To the cherub there is general cracking and chipping all over. And the marble top is a later replacement, which, has a slightly larger over-hang than one would expect and some drilled small holes that could be filled. Other than the aforementioned, the table is in good original and un-meddled with condition with the finish untouched and the whole proving wonderfully decorative. She has fixing brackets present for wall mounting. Rococo is an 18th-century artistic movement and style. Which affected several aspects of the arts including painting, sculpture, architecture, interior design, decoration, literature, music and theatre. It fell out of favour towards the end of the 18th century, and then was revived. Rococo Revival was a 19th-century furniture style, based on Rococo, and characterized by curved silhouettes and ornate carving. Its best-known maker in the United States was John Henry Belter. It began as a"Modern French" style in England in the 1820s, drawing on baroque elements of Louis XVI and Louis X
