It is in excellent restored antique condition. We judge the full restoration of this table is recent. Very likely in the past 20 years. The Boulle inlays are all solid(none are loose or protruding) The gilt bronze trim is in perfect condition also. We can see various superficial scratches in the ebony finish but nothing significant. Hand carved of solid white oak. This well worn antique has losses, shrinkage separations and warps for character. Joints are secured with hand carved wooden pegs instead of nails and screws and hand planing marks can be felt everywhere on this European furniture. The old finish is well preserved and has been waxed. It needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its luster. Rough sawn back panels are hand chamfered. Up for sale is this BEAUTIFUL large 1926 Mathiesen Master Console aerial loop antenna. This was found in a recent estate sale. It appears to be completely original. The frame is made of walnut wood with six bakelite ends for the wire to be wrapped around. The condition is very nice. The only damage I see is one small knick on one of the bakelite ends. I have pictured that for you. The wire appears to be original and is in good condition also. The antenna is large. Measuring 43" high X 20" wide. Mathiesen also made what they called the baby console antenna which was quite a bit smaller. The antenna was made to collapse down. I will break this down for shipping. This radio has not been"refinished" but to restore some of its original lustre it has been wiped off with Formsby tung oil after a good cleaning with GOJO to remove all the years of grease and tobacco tar. Original knobs and exceptional grill cloth. Dial face excellent and tuning works very well. Receives AM stations great with external antenna required and with ground it plays even better. Received a couple stations on one of the SW bands too. Electrolytic filters replaced and any other marginal components. Tuning belt replaced with rectangular rubber substitute. This is a beautiful. Crotch mahogany game table. It is diminutive in size at 29.5" H x 30" W x 17" deep and really fits anywhere. The legs are graceful and ornately carved. The top is a gorgeous flame mahogany with wonderful grain and rich color. The top swivels and opens to a four person game table. Inside, there is a"secret" compartment for cards or chips. For your consideration a early 1920's" The Bodine De Luxe Loop Aerial Antenna" This is fresh from a local estate and appears to be completely original. The frame is made of walnut wood with Four bakelite ends for the wire to be wrapped around. The condition is ok for its age but will need to be rewired as the wire is frayed and loose from the ends. The only damage I see is one small knick on the base. I have pictured that for you. The antenna is measuring 28" high X 13" wide. This is model no. 500 and made in Chicago in the 1920's. The wood antenna is all original and has the original brass tag from the Bodine company. It has a great patina on it. This will be a great addition to your collection.

This exceptionally elegant ca. 1790 hand crafted provincial wall console measures 31 ½” tall x 13 ½” wide x 17 3/8” deep and features pine secondary woods with dove tailed and wrought nailed construction. Its characteristics details are delicately carved with a soft refinished patina and many stains and dings of age. You will note evidence of minor very old(inactive) worm damage. The swell front is masterfully constructed with tricky but well crafted drawer profiles. Beautiful Antique Demilune Console Cabinet ~ Half Round Accent Table Note: The Pictures were taken with 2 different phone cameras I don't know why the last of them have such a lighter color.The yellowish color is what it looks like. I just hadn't taken inside views. So I needed to take a few more photo's. Weird! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. This belonged to my grandparents. My Grandfather died 20 yrs ago, my Grandmother died in Feb 2012 ~ They were antique collectors/hoarders: My grandmother owned 2 Antique shops. 1 was the Hobby Horse that was very popular here in Georgia. I don't know much about this piece and wouldn't dare ask my family because they would know I'm selling some of the stuff. But I remember seeing it as far back as about 7 yrs old. Which was about 31 yrs ago. My grandparents were married ... morein the 1940's, it could have even belonged to my Great Grandmother who also collected antiques. I just don't know. My family is not very close. Family issues between my mother, her siblings& my Grandmother for over 15+ yrs. But I researched these tables/cabinets and see they are very expensive. I am keeping the very sentimental keepsakes I did get. But pieces like this, I know my Grandmother would have been pleased to know someone who loves Antiques and will cherish it gets it. I really just have no place in my little house. I was just given odds& ends from my Grandparents. I was barely allowed to go through the house before the sale, I was supposed to be able to look better when they had the estate sale and ask if I could have some other stuff, but I wasn't even informed when they has the estate sale, I know she had over $100,000 worth of Antiques if not more. She had 4 upstairs rooms packed with antiques, a lot of it packed up and wrapped so tightly(like her 5 China Cabinets full of unused gorgeous priceless China.
