There is a chip to the wood on middle right bottom and wood piece on side which adds to the authentic character of this piece. Especially since the stain covers the chip. Two pieces could made 2 different hats(one would be brimless) But together they look like either a fancy woman's hat or cowboy hat. If you push the piece up from the bottom, you get a narrow height ladies' hat. If you place this on top, it's a fancier high hat. Though the center piece only sits on top but does push up from center. Or you could use the center piece on it's own. Wide curved brim measures almost 2.5" across from center piece to edge. The brim is pained black on the curved top and sides. And natural wood color on the bottom. There is a brass metal trim running under the edge of this piece. Antique Primitive Wooden Firkin Sugar Bucket Lamp 12"T Handle Stenciled "37Xx"
This antique primitive wooden bucket is a firkin. Or sugar bucket and was made in the late Victorian Period(1880's to 1900's) It is in a natural wood tone with varnish, or some other finish applied, but not paint. It has been converted into a lamp, as shown in the photographs, and comes to you WITHOUT a shade. The lamp light does work and the wiring is in good condition. The handle has"37XX" stenciled upon it. The whole piece is in good, antique condition, having some bumps and bruises here and there as evidenced in the photographs. The worst of these are the chips of wood missing from the base and the crack/split in the lid. There are three holes drilled into the bucket, one was drilled for the lamp cord, and two were drilled to affix the lamp hardware to the wooden bucket. The bucket measures 12" tall, and tapers ... morefrom 12 1/8" wide to 12 3/4" wide. There are three finger bands attached to the body of the bucket, and one attached to the lid, which hold the bucket staves together. The bentwood oak handle is firmly affixed to the bucket, but still moves freely, as intended. There is NO SHADE offered in this sale. Large Quilt Top Primitive Hen Pillow Spring Chicken Tuck
This is the sweetest hen pillow tuck! Made from a vintage cutter quilt and stained with a coffee/cinnamon mix. This chicken has been baked to prim perfection! Quilt is on front side only. Back side is a beautiful coordinating fabric. I have placed the pattern meticulously on the quilt so her comb is accented, as well as her beak and wattles. Her eye is a rusty bell. She is adorned with a stained cheesecloth bow that has been tied with jute twine and sewn to the neck. She sports a little prim tag pinned to her tail that reads"Cluck" Chick measures 10 inches tall by 10-1/2 inches wide and will come nicely scented unless buyer specifies no scent. She was made from tea dyed muslin and gently weighted with pellets. From head to toe she is about 15" tall not including her bow. I gave her button eyes and the rest of her face is hand stitched with floss. Her hair is deep red wool sewn on in loops all over her head with a bow matching her pinafore. Her blouse and loons are made from a red seed print and the loons are gathered at the knee. Her pinafore is a black check with slices of watermelon all over. She has on white socks and white patent shoes. Her watermelon was made from muslin and painted and aged with tea. All my doll comes from a smoke free home and are made with love and care in each and every stitch. Intended to be displayed not played ... morewith as a toy by small children. vintage wood bucket barrel with lid copper rings advertising on bottom antique
This auction is for a vintage container with lid. It is made of wood and is made similar to barrels used in liquor production in terms of the slats being held together by rings. I believe this rings are copper. I am not positive on that but they are metal. Also the bottom has some advertising of possibly a drugstore in Massachusetts or Toronto. It is cut off so I am not certain. It shows some wear. The rings are bit loose which allows some movement in the wood slat seams but is still a pretty neat piece. It measures approx. 6 3/4 inches across the bottom and stands approx. 5 1/4 inches tall. Thank you for looking.

Pair of Simplex 4410-1 Tank Jacks. used. One is frozen. I couldn't un-screw it. Might just need more'elbow grease' The other turns freely and even has grease nibs added to it. I am really not sure what I have here. I believe it was used to sort something. Maybe a seed sorter. It is made of wood and I unsure of the wood of this one maybe oak. I would guess it to be 100 plus years old and from the midwest. It measures approx. 15 1/4 inches by 7.5 inches and is 1 3/4 inches tall. Some light wear and tear one small split in the wood but is still solid. A nail was added at some point to fix a split in the wood. Thanks for looking. I am also listing another one that is very simliar but is a little different in size and is made out of poplar wood.

19th C Turned Wood Blown Glass 30 Minute Hourglass Sand Clock in 3 Legged Stand
Antique 19th c. hourglass in a turned wood. Three-legged stand. The hourglass has two connected blown glass bulbs with sand regulated to trickle down, measuring 30 minutes or 1/2 hour. The wood stand measures 5 3/4" tall. The top and bottom bases measure 2 3/4" in diameter. The condition is very good. The wood retains a nice old patina. There is some normal aging and scuffs to the wood. As pictured. The antique blown glass has normal bubbles, but no damage. Thanks for your interest. Very Unusual Antique Primitive Scale- In a Hand Carved Wood Box. The box is shaped like a guitar. Very odd piece. I have never seen one like it. It consists of a wood stick with a string attached to it. Also attached is a round metal tray with another metal piece that look like a small lock. The attached string is twisted and knotted up. It should probably be replaced. There is a metal piece on the outside of the handle that slides down to secure the box from opening. This came from an Estate Sale Auction. The tag attached says: Old carved box holding game implements but I was told that it is actually a primitive scale. I am not sure how it works. Beautiful ornate Early American flax spinning wheel -operates excellently
This is a BEAUTIFIL Early American flax spinning wheel. It has been rebuilt and is in perfect spinning ability. I have been spinning. Weaving, and teaching for well over 40 years and this wheel is a pleasure to spin on. It has good draw, very easy treadling, and the wheel is almost perfectly true and very solid. The distaff is a replacement and other pieces have been redone to put it back into excellent spinning condition. The uprights and the legs are a little loose so to tighten them a small piece of leather has been put between the leg/upright and the hole that it is on. This was usual as many times due to age the pieces have shrink a little. I have found many wheels with a thin piece of newspaper, paper bag, or thin leather that have been used as such shims for such pieces. Both of the uprights are original to this wheel but one has been ... moreturned a little smaller that the other on the bottom where they both fit into the table, again shimmed with leather. I guarantee its spinning ability as with all of my wheels and if there is ever a problem with a wheel I have it restored to good operating ability and the potential buyer is informed of such. Beautiful antique small wall mount 2 tier shelf wood original black paint
Included in this auction is a nice. Small antique wooden wall shelf. It has 2 tiers and measures 16 inches long. 9 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep. It used to be painted black but most of that paint has worn off over the years. The joints are still tight and the shelf is still perfectly square with no warping of the wood. There are splits measuring about 4 inches long on both side pieces but they're in the same place so this was a stress point. No loose or wobbly parts. This lovely little egg basket is only about 4-1/2" diameter and 4-1/2" tall. Nice condition except that the handle has a crack in the center. It is sturdy, but I covered the crack by wrapping it with a piece of 1890s blue calico tied up with linen string.
