This must be the season for chairs. We are offering a gem of a rocker to you that is tough for us to part with. This one is a Stickley Brothers#790 rocker. ... moreThis form is very hard to find. We are glad it turned up and we gladly restored it. It is in excellent overall condition. And has very well matched new leather upholstery. The measurements are 36 inches tall, 27 1/2 outside arm, and 16 inches seat to floor. It has a great fumed oak color and grain, retains its brass Quaint Furniture tag. It is in 3 out of 4 known Stickley Brothers catalogs. This would be a welcome addition to any bungalow, mission oak, or Stickley- style household. Also a great chair for someone just starting out, as it is as comfortable as it is useful. The chair has a few dings and scratches and a very small section of the arm that is not perfect, but it is in used, not abused condition. It is sturdy and solid, and lots of life left to offer comfort and enjoyment for years to come. It is an antique and therefore one must consider age and character the reason to acquire vintage pieces in the first place. We love to answer questions and appreciate your interest. However, all this must be done before close of auction, as all sales are in fact, final. We also gladly offer free pickup, local delivery can be arranged for a fee, as well as Greyhound Package Express to your closest or desired terminal for long distance shipping with excellent results. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Fantastic Stickley brothers morris chair! This is one of the best morris chairs stickley brothers made. Very deep chair. The chair presents well and feels great! This is a large chair with generous proportions and ready to sit next to the best of your arts and crafts collection. I can box this chair and ship via UPS. Honey. I shrunk the Stickley Morris chair" Antique rare Stickley Brothers child's Morris chair w/ new leather cushions. All quartersawn oak. ... moreThe size is 20-1/2" wide. 23" deep measured at the arms, and 30" tall when the back is in the forward pin location. Marked three times.signed w/ metal Quaint tag. Has the inkstamped production number, and there is the single tack nail that once held the oval paper label(now missing) Very good condition! The only exception is a chip missing on underside of the right arm at the rear(see last photo) Oak frame is solid. Tapered arms mimic the frame that splays out back to front. Early slatted seat support. Ladder style back adjusts w/ removable pins. New cushions are nice w/ corded edges. Tabs at the top of the back cushion, high quality foam, zippered bottom of back cushion for ease of insertion/removal of back filling and ventilation. Durable thick leather. This piece is super cute.everyone who sees it is just enamored w/ the diminutive size and the fact that is has the exact same detailing that a larger Morris chair has. If you stop to think about it. At the time of manufacture it required the same joinery and amount of pieces of oak as one of their larger Morris chairs. A perfect little gem by one of the top makers.for the collector who has almost everything. Or a great gift. Functional. And a conversation piece. Durable enough for daily use. Insured shipping is $100.

EBAYS BEST- Check out the photos above. Interior of this piano has all been refurbished and probably only 5 or 6 years ago. TWO GREAT THINGS: CHECK OUT THE QUARTERSAWN OAK OR TIGER OAK STRIPING. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. THIS RETAINS 100% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH AND THE FINISH IS ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING AS WELL. THE CASE IS MADE ON A MISSION STYLE AND WE DATE THIS AROUND the eary 1900s. This has the original bench that comes with it. This is made by the Waltham Company of Milwaukee. WI. We have never owned a player piano before like this one; however, we have ... morehad many. This particular one we have never had this model because it shows on back what is called a violin back- see last photos above. This even has the original price burnt into the back of the wood of $700. Probably today this would cost at least $20K with this wonderful quartersawn oak case. But here again on the back, there are two panels with violin cut out holes to represent a violin. My thoughts are this helps the sound. This has a honky tonk bar on the inside that can either be played with it or you can play it without. Also, this is set up when it was restored to play it by electric, manually, or one can pump it with the pedals as well. However, when it plays IT SOUNDS GREAT! You almost want to stick on your dancing shoes and dance. THE VIN NUMBER OR THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 73801 and can be seen in the photos above.A BIT OF INFO ABOUT THE PREVIOUS FAMILY OWNERS- sad but true, this came out of a two-generation family that owned this since day 1. It's largest deminsions are 28" by 55" by 62 1/4" It is mission style and made of quartersawn oak(original finish but worn) I place it as circa 1910 because of its style. The piano bench is an antique and is included(not original to the piano) It is a beautiful piece of furniture very suitable for displaying photos on top. We have had it is our living room. We are now moving and will not have room for it. It was given to us by a Tavern Owner about 25 years ago. Two of our children learned to play on it. It needs tuning and is missing part of the ivory tops on 5 keys. It still plays well but is not in tune. I am including two boxes of piano tools and supplies that belonged to my father who restored pianos as a hobby. Some of these tools are in fine condition and some ... morehave some rust. I am also including a box of new piano keys(about 40 ro 50) and another box of miscellaneoous keys. I am also including a book titled"Piano Servicing Tuning& Rebuilding" by Arthur A. Reblitz that is in very good condition(see piano bench in photo) If you have questions please ask. This item is being sold as all items for one lot. ~~ Arts& Crafts Table Lamp base ~~ no shade What a great estate find! Have you ever seen a Arts& Crafts Oak base with slag glass in this design? there are plenty of the all oak bases with out slag glass& also the metal arts& crafts Lamps this design have the slag glass base. So if your after the special one, this is for you. everything on this lamp base is Org. except I replaced the wiring& cord. Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side ... moreit almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base, which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. Came loose from age& just need a little glue to secure them. There are pictures of all 4 side& 1 picture of the little loose piece the has the shade screwed to it added to the very end of the picture slideshow. I will wrap your base extra carefully with lots of bubble wrap for a safe& secure long trip to you. Thank you!
I'm sure someone can use this! I believe this to be the top of a Limbert double oval table model#138. This is for the top only. No base, no more pieces, just the top. See the pics, it is signed with the limbert brand, and splined as well. The dimensions are 36" wide, and just shy of 48" long. These are the exact dimensions of the double oval in the catalog reprints. The finish has been stripped and there is a minor seam separation in the center of the top as well. See pics. Easily restorable Flat rate shipping will be $85 via ups to the lower 48 states. If interested in a buy it now. Please send offer.
This must be the season for chairs. We are offering a gem of a rocker to you that is tough for us to part with. This one is a Stickley Brothers#790 rocker. This form is very hard to find. The chair has a few dings and scratches and a very small section of the arm that is not perfect, but it is in used, ... morenot abused condition.

Piece is 12 inches by 12 inches and 16 inches tall. Very few of these pieces still around.Great opportunity to own this piece at excellent price. Breif description of early metal graining in office furniture: Origins in 1912 Steelcase was incorporated as the Metal Office Furniture Company on March 16. 1912, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Although the new company had a novel idea-fabricating furniture from sheet metal-it received little notice in"The Furniture City, which already had nearly 60 furniture manufacturers. Peter M. Wege proposed the Metal Office Furniture Company to a group of investors. Wege had been a designer and executive at the Safe ... moreCabinet Company and the General Fireproofing Company. Both in Ohio, and had received several patents for all or portions of sheet-metal structures he had designed. He was aware of the benefits of steel furniture. At the turn of the 20th century, mergers were leading to larger companies, larger office and administrative staffs, larger buildings, and an increased office furniture market. However, while new brick and steel construction techniques were making building exteriors less flammable and skyscrapers a reality. Office interiors, cluttered with wooden furniture and other combustibles, were still being heated and lighted by open flame appliances. An added fire risk was the use of smoking materials; ashes dumped into the popular wicker wastebaskets caused many office fires. A fire in one of the higher structures was an inferno firefighters could not effectively battle. Wege persuaded the investors. Some of whom were with the Macey Furniture Company, that steel office furniture's strength, durability, and fireproof qualities made sense. The Macey Company agreed to purchase and market all of the shelving, tables, files, and fireproof safes manufactured by the new company. Met

There are nicks and scratches and stains throughout- especially to the top and the top corners since the top overhangs the chest by approximately 1.5" on the sides and 2" on the front. There is a horizontal crack in the back and on(each) both sides. And also a split to the top. Some areas of the finish have that old"glazed" look as if they have suffered from heat. The hand dove-tailed corner out side area of the bottom drawer includes a child's scribble drawing on right outer side of the drawer(which does not show when the drawer is closed) The plastic discs were added at some point in the recent past to the bottom of each leg. The wood is warped on 3 side panels on the left side and on 2 side panels on the right side. We have not cleaned this antique arts& crafts era chest. Or added color. As some of you know, it is rather difficult to find an antique chest of drawers from the arts and crafts era. Please ask any questions before bidding. Simple but beautiful. This is an antique C-1910 Mission Arts& Crafts oak hall tree in great condition. I did lightly sand. Touch the spots with stain and put a coat of vanish on to freshen up the finish. The seat was cracked so that was glued, lightly sanded, and stained with a coat of varnish. The hardware is original, the mirror is original but with spotting and slightly foggy but it gives it a old look. The boards on the sides have gaps(look at the pictures) Sooo this is pretty original. This hall tree is 76" high. 25 1/2" wide and 16" deep. Local delivery only
Antique Mission oak plant stand. It has beautiful clean lines and the dark finish quarter sawn oak that this style is famous for. A perfect height for display. But narrow enough to fit in any corner. The stand probably dates from the early 1900's. This piece is in good condition. However the top has warped somewhat over time, as you can see in the pictures. Although it has a nice patina, the finish may not be original and there is some evidence of repairs to the base. There is also a crack in one of the vertical pieces. See picture. Nonetheless, this piece is very stable and strong and does not wobble or tip. The stands is 36.5" tall and the top measures 14.5" X 14" This piece is listed for'local pickup only' We encourage buyers to stop by our 11.000 square foot shop to preview this unique piece in person. Arts and crafts mission quarter sawn oak umbrella stand. Condition for its age is fair to good. It appears the bottom wood is newer. And has been braced for extra support. There is a bit of paint residue to the underside which is curious, as the piece appears to have its original finish. There are some wood separations along the joints. The joints have original slats. But also some extra screws here and there. The bottoms have some footings, and some wear down to the wood as shown. Still a great piece for decor, but we want to mention the supports. The finish has some wear from age. There are 8 open areas for umbrellas. Canes, anything you can think of! Measures 22 by 12 by 24.5 high. We are happy to answer any questions about this item. Koken Barbers Supply. St. Louis, mfgd. this fine mission oak style barber chair between 1895 and 1911 per the brass plate on the back of the chair. The quartersawn oak has been refinished and the chair has been freshly reupholstered with a high quality tooled faux leather vynil that looks and feels like leather. The hardware has been sprayed with a hammered paint finish. The chair turns and swivels freely and pumps up/down. It can be made to recline by loosening two screws which control the tension on the recliner shaft. Unlike many barber chairs of this era, this one still has the original brake which locks or stabilizes the chair. There is a repair, as shown in pic, on a small section of the ornate base ring. The hydraulic were cleaned and fresh hydraulic fluid added. The chair is in very good condition and stable for use in your barber ... moreshop or game room.
