This thick walled pantry box is from my own collection. I found it here in Michigan years ago although it was made in New Hampshire. It is signed Frye Company in Wilton. New Hampshire. This company has been in business for over a century and still is. I would guesstimate the age to be early 1900's. The paint is a mustard/umber background with vines in dark green, black and wonderful red. The box has opposing fingers with copper nails and wooden pegs. The condition is excellent with no damage. The paint is exactly how I found it(could've used a cleaning but I like it this way) It's hard to tell if the paint decoration was done at the"factory" or by the first owner; but, it is old and definitely not recently done. If you like early paint decoration, this is as unique as it gets. You will love it! Size: 5-3/4" diameter ... moreat the top x 2-5/8" tall. It weighs less than 1/2 lb unpacked. I ship to the USA only. I have no reserve on this so have fun! Please check out my other AAFA listings. Please take a moment to read my"fine print" below including a short explanation of AAFA. Check out my listings that begin Sunday. Wednesday and Friday evenings! Payment is PayPal but if PayPal is not possible. Email me PRIOR to bidding for options. My handling charge includes insurance(ebay's new rule) and delivery confirmation; nothing other than that. Communication is key; I ask that you arrange payment within four days. I combine shipping for similar items if purchased within 4 days of each other. I reserve the right to end an auction early if there doesn't seem to be any interest after a few days. Hello! Up for auction today is this gorgeous example of a 19th century pantry box or firkin. It has traces of green paint. And is white washed on the inside. The wall is 1/4 of an inch thick& it measures 12 inches across& 6.5 inches deep. The bentwood handle is attached by wooden pegs(one of the pegs was broken long ago but still functions perfectly) There is some loss around the rim of the lid. But does not interrupt the natural patina of this beautiful piece. Square head copper nails were used. Along with a few others, it almost looks like the others may have been added later, for strength i am guessing. There is a crack that runs all the way across the lid but the outer rim is still nicely intact and holding fast. If you have any questions. Please feel free to ask. Comments are always welcome so if I am wrong about any details. ... morePlease contact me. Thank you for looking and be sure to check out my other items. I am starting this auction at just $9.99 with NO RESERVE! There is a $1.00 handling fee included in the shipping price to ensure that all items are packed with the best care. Best of luck to you all& Have a wonderful day!

SMALL Round PANTRY BOX in Deep DARK RED with Curious Abnormalities Offered this week a very interesting little pantry box in a very deep old dark red paint. It has several curious features, its 1st abnormality you’ll notice are the two opposing long slender square nailed fleathering shaped fingers on the lid and body of the pantry, 2nd, notice a small piece of leather square nailed to the side of the box, 3rd, notice the cover has a indentation, upon twisting the cover you’ll find that it matches a small hole in the body of the pantry. I speculate that perhaps it was used as a seed box? no idea what's up with the leather, but its original. Measures 3.5” diam. x 2.5” tall, bottom finger is about 4” long. Interior is a nice brown natural as you would expect, no smell. Nice condition, no cracks or chips, small hole where nail is missing ... moreon top finger. Good Luck. have fun! Today I have an older wooden pantry. One of a few I bought an estate sale. I believe this pantry is older. But I also feel the tole paint is newer. Paint on bottom where signature is looks new to me. But I’m not an expert. There are some slight cracks, a little warping, and some of the staples look to be replaced. This is being sold as found. It can use a little cleaning which I will leave up to the new owner. It measures approx 11 ½” diameter x 5 ½” tall. Please look at photos and feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking! Please note: I no longer ship outside of the Continental USA. Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
Up for sale is this unusual antique metal hoosier style kitchen spice pantry cabinet with original antique country table. The cabinet has a beautiful folk art painted front that has worn to show it's history and character. The hand painted flowers are just amazing. I have never seen a cabinet like this- I purchased it at a local estate sale in Glen rock, Pa. The Estate described it as a Traveling pantry cabinet p ossibly from a traveling store that would go from town to town and sell specialty items and goods- mid/late 1800's. It has a large cylinder with a sifter for flour and many compartments which feed from the top into the bottom that probably held sugars. Spices, etc. It also has a grinder on the side which I believe is for coffee and a hook that pulls out to hang a scale or basket from. The top has a clock that slide in and ... moreit is in working order. The cabinet measures 31 1/4" across by 18 1/4" wide and 45 1/2" tall- The table measures 41 7/8" across by 23 1/4" wide and 29 1/4" tall. Antique/vintage wooden pantry box. This box measures 6 1/2" in diameter and 2" in height. The top and bottom are pine and the sides made of a thin fine grained wood. The sides are attached to the top and bottom with tiny wood pegs and copper nails hold the lapped sides together. It has a beautiful dark patina with a slightly lighter color under the rim of the top due to the fact that the wood was not exposed to the light as much. Country Past-Thymes Home of Prims and Needful Things Bringing back the feel and comfort of days gone by Welcome To My Auction Description Hello and welcome to my auction. I'm not new to the world of designing and hand crafting Prims and Needful things. I have been sharing my God given talent for over 30 years and truly enjoy every moment of it. All my designs are original and incorporate the feel and comfort of days gone by. I use vintage fabrics and old items in my creations as often as I can. What a wonderful piece! Great for that Farmhouse Kitchen or Pantry! I upcycled this Vintage 1/2 rolling pin wall decor by adding some black and tan ticking with a prim label. It was printed directly on muslin and then tea dyed and primmed to perfection. I used small cross stitches in black for a nice contrast. The handles have been painted black ... moreand then distressed. There is a saw tooth hanger in the back and a small hole in each handle. You could hang it either way. You could also add cup hooks to the handles and hang your prim towel.Utensils or other goodies from them. Lots of possibilities! It is 18" long and 2.5" wide. Thanks for looking and as always.Happy bidding/Buying! Payment Paypal payment due within 3 days of auction close. Due to Ebays policy. Paypal is the only form of payment accepted for this item. I will ship within 1 day of payment clearing and will gladly combine shipping whenever possible to save you money. Terms I use lots of antique and vintage items including fabrics. It has great oxidation and pleasant chestnut color(note when the top is off the difference in color from age) There is a wood split towards the bottom back as well as along the top edge(covered by the top) and shrinkage cracks in the bottom. It is a solid piece though. Please review all photos. No smells. This is a great bottom stacker! You will love it! Size: 8-3/8" diameter at the top x 3-5/8" tall. It weighs 3/4 lb unpacked. Up for auction is this great Antique/pie s afe/ bread box combination. There are two fairly large compartments: The one on top is smaller. Probably for pies( people used this part to store crackers, cookies, or biscuits) the bottom compartment is lar ger. And will hold bread. This unique bread box measures 12 1/2 inches wide, stands 11 inches tall and is a little over 11 inches deep. Much of the original brightly-painted outer design is still there. But some of the original lithographed decorations are slightly wearing away. All in all, the box is in remarkably good condition. This bread box also features 3 small circular vents on each side to allow air circulation to help prevent molding of the breads. The upper door can be lifted up. The lower door has a knob and working latch. This is a Great piece that will bring back the memories for ... moremany!

Up for auction is a Butler's Pantry or Secretary Desk dating from the period between 1810- 1820. It was made in New York City by a furniture maker named James Cook. I have to take a picture of the signatures and the maker's stamp to post them. It is from the early empire period. It is complete and in good untouched original condition with it's original finish and glass intact. It is almost 8' tall and will fit underneath most standard 8' ceilings. It has a curved removable cornice which is beautiful flame mahogany. The overall design is rather simple in keeping with the very beginning of the Empire period before the over-sized scroll detailing became a typical feature. One of the most beautiful aspects of this unusual piece are the beautiful antique diamond shaped leaded glass panels in each door. They are structurally ... morein very good condition and contain all of the original glass with all of it's beautiful waves. Swirls, and bubbles. There is a panel which flips open to transform into a writing surface and it appears to have very old black felt. The wood is mahogany. Flame and crotch mahogany veneers, and solid mahogany doors and structural elements. The finish is the original shellac based french polish which shows a nice patina. There are some veneer chips typical of Empire pieces from this era. Mostly around the base moulding. Please contact me for transport. I may be able to deliver locally and further distances for a fee which we can discuss. Thank you for looking!

This is an antique primitive pantry cabinet with etched glass door. It has a door at top and bottom with a drawer in between. The only flaws that I find are some scratches on the etched glass. Doors open and close great. We purchased this several years ago at an estate auction. They said it was original condition. It is a nice piece! Very different with the etched glass. I've tried to take a close up of it. Measurements" Deep is 26 3/4" Width 25 1/4" High 66 3/4" Please pay within three days of purchase. It is a local pickup although we are willing to transport it up to 150 miles from Leon. Iowa to meet the buyer with it at no charge. Thank you for your business! Posted with

Here we have an antique. Primitive pantry box in old red paint/stain. The box is stamped on the top“Orlando Mason Winchendon Mass. The box measures 6 ½ inches in diameter. The only areas where there are issues are on the cover where the wood overlapped. There is the top section slightly damaged(as seen in photo) and there is a crack along the box bottom again as seen in photos, amd something stuck to the bottom again as seen in photo of the box bottom. Perhaps this can be removed but I do not want to try for fear of damage. This box has great patina. Please look at the photos as what you see is exactly what you are getting. This is a great piece.
