Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example. If I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors. Staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle

ANTIQUE PR OLD WORLD BALINESE"CAPITALS" HAND CARVED NATURAL SOLID WOOD-OVER 100 LBS EACH! ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE ORIG PAINT-SQUARE END/OCCASIONAL TABLES- CHUNKY WORKS OF OLD WORLD ART-LOCAL PICK UP ONLY or buyer to make shipping arrangements. SEE BELOW! Beautiful pair of what I believe they call Capitals. The top part of old buildings that were placed on tall columns going back to ancient times.these make the best end tables ever! Highly collectible today for home use. As this striking pair shows. Deeply carved in the Bali tradition, solid natural wood, seems like oak, they weigh a ton. I purchased these from an antique dealer in Carmel several years ago. Who had lived in Bali and Indonesia and had these shipped over many years ago. They stand stand 17" 17.5" tall(one a tad bigger than other) Including a 2" thick top, ... moreapproximately 50" in circumference, measured around the middle. Base is about 3" thick and measures about 14" with octagonal corners. Top measures 19"x 20" for one, other is 18.5"x 19" These are beyond fabulous for tables! They are so heavy and solid. I would guess they weigh at least 100 pounds plus, or more. Original paint, pinks, yellows, greens, more, all deeply carved with the ancanthus leaves, portion of a face in one. Symbolic I am sure, but I only know that they are antique, solid hand carved, with beautifully weathered old natural rustic paint. They are carved all the way around. I cannot hardly move to photo! Beyond shabby chic! Fabulous patina! The natural wear of salvage but that is their beauty! One side on each has a crack that doesn't go through that only adds to the patina. Please see photo of the only one to me, of any consequence, does mot interfere with use. Usually when found they are all cracked from weather but these still retain their artistic solid qualities! One of a kind pair that stand nice and solid. Almost cannot be moved, these are not tourist carvings. These are ready for use as end tables that can show off

They can be easily painted to match your style and décor. What an elegant way to add an authentic Victorian flavor to your property. The original collector of these architectural spindles began collecting antiques. And antique architectural accesories from the many old homes that were torn down in Montgomery from the years 1935- 1970 and storing them in his warehouse with the intent of eventually building a home with them. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of 1/4 sawn oak and is unpainted. The shelf is curved and is supported by 5 simple corbels. There is a heavy 1/2 round molding that follows the firebox opening. It measures just 58 inches wide. By 51.75 tall and is 11.25 inches deep at the shelf. The opening is 42.5 wide by 39 tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The matel is a bit wobbly but will be fine once mounted. It originally had mounting boards at the sides but they are missing. There are chips on the lip of the shelf. The molding across the front of the corbels is missing. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: 51234 Shipping Please enquire with your zip code and we will get you a quote quickly. Quote ... moreis to the lower 48. You can also pick up in York. PA 17403. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appoin
