I have up for auction a very nice Roycroft arts& crafts hammered copper tray with handles. This tray does have some discoloration on the back. But it does not detract from the tray itself. There are no breaks in the joints of the handles, this is a beautiful tray. The tray measures 11 1/4 across with the handles, or 10 3/4 without the handles. Good luck and thanks for looking. Sorry no international shipping.
I am pleased to offer this antique Roycroft modeled leather wastebasket. I think this is a rare Roycroft accessory. I have seen pictures in a catalog and in magazine ads. But could not find another that sold at auction, while searching the net. This piece is circa 1910. I found a copy of an ad for what I believe is this exact basket, which was in a FRA magazine from 1913. This is fresh from a Maine Estate, and measures about 15" tall, and 9" in diameter. I would consider the condition to be in good condition, but with a little work could certainly be improved. The leather is very presentable. It has some scuffs, chaffing, with minor staining, lifting and chipping at the seam. When I got this I noticed that at some point the basket had been switched upside down, and the bottom had been nailed to the top. I was able to remove the ... morewooden piece with little damage. What you are left with is 2 small nails that need to be punched through. There are 3 other tiny holes where the nails were removed. The bottom piece is now only friction fit, and will need to be properly secured. Nearly all the leather is gone from the inside edge, so you may wish to replace that. Other than that a good cleaning and conditioning is all that is needed. Please view all pictures in my description, as there are more than the 12 provided by ebay. Great potential! Many pics will tell the story. Kindly email any specific questions, comments or need for additional photos. I am happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping. U.S. BIDDERS ONLY! Please read my Terms and Conditions before placing a bid. Insured USPS Priority Mailing will be $50.00(West Coast) or less. mailing will be actual cost, I do not make anything on shipping. Catalog of Roycroft Furniture and other things” A facsimile reprint of the 1906 Roycroft Furniture catalog. Issued by Turn of the Century Editions in 1981. DISCUSSION: Roycroft furniture was not manufactured in large quantities. Nevertheless. It contributed significantly towards the growth of Arts and Crafts design in America. Furniture and other artifacts made by the Roycrofters at their community in East Aurora, New York, are easily identified by the incised orb and cross and/or“Roycroft” name. The 1906 catalog reprinted here depicts a substantial portion of the furniture designs produced under the forceful direction of Elbert Hubbard. The catalog also features some copper and wrought iron accessories. DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 6”x8.5” 47 pages, black& white illustrations. CONDITION NOTES: In fine. New condition. THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL AND VERY OLD PATINA ON THIS HEAVY SOLID COPPER BOWL. IT'S LARGE. MEASURING 12 1/2" ACROSS AND 5 1/4" TALL. NOTE THE CLOSEUP OF THE HANDLE; EVERYTHING IS HAND HEWN. GORGEOUS! I AM NOT FINDING ANY MARKINGS, BUT I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO CLEAN IT EITHER. COULD EASILY BE A HIDDEN GEM. GREAT WITH YOUR STICKLEY AND/OR ROYCROFT COLLECTION.
The condition is: New. Author: David Cathers. Here is the updated and revised edition of David M. Cathers’ ground-breaking book on American Arts and Crafts furniture. Originally published in 1981. This revised edition provides authoritative information on Gustav Stickley’s Craftsman Workshops, the L. J.G. Stickley Furniure Company, and the Roycroft Shops. The book was the first to trace the style and, through a richly detailed text and over 200 illustrations, provide a means for identification, dating, and subjectively evaluating many individual pieces. This extensively illustrated book is an invaluable reference for anyone interested in the history of American decorative arts. Softcover. 256 pp

American Beauty Vase" 21-1/2" to 21-3/4"h x 7-3/4"d(body) x 6-1/4"d(rim) x 7-1/8"d(foot) Roycroft stamp mark on bottom is extremely clear. Minor compression dent on shoulder measuring 1-1/6" x 3/8" Will be glad to quote shipping/insurance costs once destination is known. Several reviewers believe that what I thought might be a dent in the shoulder is not a dent but a large hammering mark. So you will have to decide for yourself. We listed this vase for sale in January but refunded the money to the highest bidder because he declined to pay the entire shipping/insurance costs. We estimate these costs to be between $40 and $60 for within the continental United States.

Beautiful set of Roycroft bookends from my personal collection of goodies I am selling due to moving to our smaller retirement home. The whole house has to go so watch my other auctions as I find bits and pieces of my collectables to put up for auction. I've owned these since the early 90's and never took anything to them but a dust cloth. They are in very good condition but not perfect as there are a few pits here and there and though the green felt is mostly intact. Some has come loose. I don't know anything about these. Send me your best offers! I don't have a professional camera for pictures but if there is something else you want me to take a picture of with regard to these. Please write. I'm busy but I will try to get you any additional pics asap. Send me your offers! I'm not a dealer so I am not sure of pricing. ... moreI'm just going off research. I am selling my highly collectible ANTIQUE early's ROYCROFT SHOPS ARTS& CRAFTS ART POTTERY" LITTLE BROWN JUG" As I need to downsize some of my pottery collections. This darling"Little Brown Jug" stands 5" tall X 4" at the widest point of the jug body. The spout sits 7/8" above the body and the handle is large enough to put a fat finger through. The handle sits 1 1/4" out to the side. This little jug is heavy art pottery stoneware in the traditional Arts& Crafts manner with the typical satin matte glaze. The glaze is a rich coffee brown and there are several decorative"rings" under the glaze at the widest point in the body(see photos) This was made by the Roycroft Shops out of Aurora NY in the early 1900's. The jug is marked on the unglazed underside with the Roycroft" ... moreR" in a circle below the stylized cross. The impression of the stamp is not deep. But legible. The jug is in very good antique condition, it is almost 100 years old! There are no cracks, chips or repairs however the rich brown glaze does have a few little"glaze pops" here and there in the glaze only, not the clay. There are three small glaze pops that are the size of a large pin head and another a bit larger, about 1/8" in diameter. Most of these are in one area so the jug will display nicely. They are old glaze pops that are often found on art pottery, as this is the nature of the glaze. This is not considered damage as these"pops" usually occurred during firing and manufacture. The glazes are never smooth and there are usually little lumps and bumps under the glaze. These pops are tiny and well documented in my pictures. Roycroft shops art pottery is highly collectible and this is a nice size. This would look perfect with your other primitives. Mission setting or for display with dried straw flowers. I have a lot of Mission furniture and this is a nice accent piece. This is a thick, heavy little jug, thus the shipping cost. This is a great price as

Signed Roycroft Metal Bud Vase Holder Arts and Crafts We are offering a vintage. Signed Roycroft piece, we believe it to be a bud vase holder. We have not attempted to clean this peice at all, perferring to leave it in it's orginial condition. We do not have the glass bud vase. The piece is elegant in it's simplicity, we are not sure of the metal, it looks a little too yellow to be copper, but we are not sure. The base measures approximatly 4" deep and is about 3 1/2" across at the front and is about 7 1/4" tall. It is signed with the Roycroft symbol and with the word"Roycroft" embossed on the bottom. There is some discoloration on the base, again, we have not cleaned it, we took a lot of photos, please click on them for a closer look. Note to international bidders: We will only ship items internationally ... morevia USPS Express Mail. Express Mail is the most secure way of shipping. A package can be traced every step of the way. But it can be expensive, so please be aware of this before bidding. RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk.rp*73c7e%3D%3E-13d47cb9b15-0xfd-
